Sooooo when is it coming: Air Jordan 14.5

I am so waiting for this one to release. The drawing looks hot and the idea of getting my hands on a version of the 14’s (my favorite Air Jordan sneaker… too bad I only have one) makes me happy. I haven’t heard anything from the sneaker news sites and blogs out there about any info on this sneaker in a while. I am guessing it will release next year considering all the Jordan’s coming out every other weekend (especially those AJ Fusions) this year. I just want to know something about them. Even a sample picture of them would be nice.

You Probably Know This Already: Air Jordan 6 Rings Released

As seen on Eastbay.com and a few other sites (Finishline and Footlocker to name a couple). The Six Ring Bred (Bread as I call them… not that I have any authority to do so LOL) is one of the most popular searches on my blog so I am guessing that these will be a sleeper hit (I say sleeper hit because there were not many nice comments about the sneaker for the most part on sneaker blog sites… sort of half and half). There is even a Digg.com post on it that actually got 52 votes, of which is surprising because Digg is a tech site fo the most part.

I have also seen many people wearing them today, even 2 couples (of which is not that common to see such a thing). People seem to really like tham and I will admit that they look WAY better in person.

WAY better in person.

Details of the sneaker from Eastbay:

The Jordan 6 Rings incorporates key features from each shoe that MJ wore while stacking up the Championship rings for the Chicago Bulls. Celebrate the history of Jordan with this hybrid design that takes its cues from six legendary Jordan shoe styles. It’s made with a full-grain leather, synthetic leather and engineered mesh upper, with details like the lacelock and heel loop from the Jordan VI, a huarache-style inner sock from the Jordan VII and a fuzzy tongue logo and VELCRO® brand fastener from the Jordan VIII. The midsole, a full-length Phylon™ unit with Zoom Air™ in the heel and forefoot, was inspired by the Jordan XIII. The entire upper silhouette gets its design from the Jordan XI while the “TWO3” script on the tongue and metal lace loops on top are taken from the Jordan XII. The outsole is a combination of solid and clear rubber, which created performance traction with superior style.

I love reading these descriptions. sometimes they are really into the sneaker, and sometimes… well lets just say that you get a one line description that basically says that this is a sneaker lol

Here is the breakdown of the sneaker, thanks to KicksonFire.com:

So first we had the Dub Zero, then we had the Spizike, not we have the 6 Ring. I wonder what is next? I think the next time they do this, they should call them Monster Game or something like that (I’m usually good at coming up with names but I’m tires lol). There is another color coming our way in January. Check out what that will look like here.

Air Jordan 6 Rings CONCORD coming soon in October

The Retro Movement continues!

PS

I still say that I need more 14’s in my life. He was wearing them for the last shot and he was a Bull while wearing them and at peak form, so I think as a thank you we should get some black and red DMP (defining moment pack).

What is Chris Brown wearing on his feet? 6 Rings Bred?

Looks like someones got the Breads… I mean the Bred 6 Rings (I just call the breads when it black and red). They sure do look like them. What do you think? See for yourself:

(from marqueesole.com)

Man, those 6ings are just looking better and better. I like the white and black, but maybe those Breads will work too.

White and black for me please LMAO. And yeah, I like the laser 6 Rings too. Here is the Air Jordan 6 Rings breakdown:

Air Jordan 6 – Lacelock on laces, heel loop
Air Jordan 7 – Huarache style inner sock
Air Jordan 8 – Fuzzy tongue logo, Velcro strap
Air Jordan 11 – Silhouette of upper
Air Jordan 12 – “T W O 3″ on tongue, metal lace loops at top
Air Jordan 13 – Outsole
Air Jordan 14 – Jumpman at bottom of tongue near the toe

So they do have the the 14’s in them!!! lol Not allot of 14’s in these sneakers but I guess a little bit is enough.

HiTop and LowTop Air Jordan Fusion 20

Air Jordan Fusion 20 (ummm… the high tops lol)

Air Jordan Fusion 20 Lo

I think the AJ Fusion 20 looks pretty ok… but I am super tired of seeing patent leather on every other Air Jordan sneaker. Maybe its because I’m grown and sexy and I’m not into shiny flash everyday of the week because the kids seem to like it so I am guessing that Brand Jordan will be doing the patent leather for a minute.

The low tops don’t seem to have much in common with the high version, then again they do (maybe its just the patent leather shininess confusing me). The back, the midsole and other areas are similar but I really think the lo-top is the better looking sneaker and t really seems to have its own identity.

But I am sure to change my mind when the final pictures come out.

On Sale: Zoom Sharkley Basketball Shoe

Zoom Sharkley Basketball Shoe for 89.99 at Finishline.com

What happens when you mix up some Barkley with some Rodman (wait, that don’t sound right) and you come up with what looks to be the hottest sneaker this summer. Wasn’t the Air Jordan Fusions suppose to be the hottest sneaker this summer? Well, I think these Sharkleys might take the top spot.

Affordable, nice and, get this cause this is the best part, they actually work!!! At least according to the comment on the sneaker from people who bought them.  You can play in it and it feels good and you can chill in them and they look good.

I’m not a big fan of these or how they look but, I can’t front, they alright. If you collect sneakers this HAS to be in your collection. Pick a color and run with it. Also, as many sneaker companies have noticed, you got to have something special for the kids. The kids and baby mrket is the fastest growing area so if your wondering why you keep seeing Air Jordans and Nikes (and other sneaker companies) with kids only colors, that is why.

Anyway, I can’t say I would get them, I just know that I would if my budget and financial plan said I could (I’m grown and sexy people, I don’t have budget, I have a budget AND a financial plan).

Coming out June 1 2008 –  ORANGE!!!

Oh man the summer is going to be hot at least sneaker and fashion wise. Not sure about the ladies or mens shoes but we will see.

I Know I Have Seen The Sharkleys – Part I

I know I have seen sneakers in the store. I know I did. It was in all black but I don’t remember any straps or such items on the sneakers.

To convince myself that they actually have the full size available in NYC (and at least this sneaker is about to release everywhere maybe this Friday) I will go back to the store and see if they were actually the Sharkleys. If they weren’t, they sure looked like them.

More news on this later in Part II

One has to wonder, after the popularity of Dragonball, Dragonball Z and somewhat less so Dragonball GT cartoons, that the idea of fusion gained incredible popularity. Why do I say that? Cause fusions happened before and they were LAME AS HELL. It didn’t help that they were not really called fusions but composites… remember Composite Bat-Man and Superman (supposedly unbeatable)… ooookay. (more…)
