(that is one very racey picture right there)
I didn’t go to the party myself, but if she was there I would have found a way just to get a glimpse of here… that is if she was wearing the same outfit lol First seen on SneakerFreaker and it wasn’t that long ago, but I love the look of the flier too much to pass up an opportunity to make a post about it. I am starting to think we should have a flier contest and see who comes up with the best ones… just for fun and bragging rights.
Just diggin in those sneaker crates… September 19 2009
(CLASSIC!!! lol watch the commercial… remember it)
(I think I had a pair of those for number 9)
(number 8, remeber that when posing for sneaker shots)
MC Hammer did a commercial??? The Patrick Ewing Collection????????? Avia Athletic shoes (I had a pair, pretty nice)??????????? Wiz Kids sneakers!!!! I am not making this up, you can see the commercial lol
True sneaker heads, if you have a collection, where are your Wiz Kids sneakers????
(when you look hard enough the love of sneaker and shoes is everywhere)
Sneakers can find its way into culture either in a nice unotiable way or on a full all out onslaught. And yes, so can shoes, so lets start to take a look at that shall we? Footwear in Culture, Saturdays only on Sneaker and Shoes lol
As far as I know, there are only a few official colors for the Fusiion V and these shots above are not one of them. And I really don’t think brand new Jordan Fusions V’s would cost 59.99 (hey, what happened to the well over used 79.99? lol) but nevertheless the question is Are These Fakes?
I actually don’t know if Jordan will come out with this colorway for the ladies and for grade school… but selling these Fusions for 54.99 makes me think this 150 dollar shoe is actually fake. I am not good at picking out fakes. I look for simple things like tags, numbers and quality. But I guess even that can be faked too but most fakers don’t even bother to do that stuff.
So anyway the question is Are These Fakes? (as if you don’t already know).
Sneakernews got pictures of both colorways of the new hybrid between the Air Max 97 and Air Max Plus aka Tuned Air aka Tn’s. While Air Tuned aka Tn’s did not do to well on the market and officially you just do not see them any more on any Nike sneaker, Nike has, at least, brought back the best style and colorways of the Tn series.
I loved the Air Tuned aka Tn’s (I’ll admit I do not know how they preformed on the track… I hear people just didn’t like it for what ever reason… more research on that later) and I really loved the Tn’s that came out back in the day. Now they are mixing the 2 and using WAY better colorways for the men. Personally I think the womens Tn’s looked way better as far as colorway was concerned.
When it comes to the air pillow, it seems to be all Air Max and no Tuned Air (but I am not sure yet). This would be in line with other hybrids that only slap on the bottoms of one sneaker line to the upper of another.
I tell you boy, these look good. And the blue and white, while not as flashy, is for the more understated gentleman type lol.
These would seem to be Footlocker Exclusives but I have yet to see them online so I guess you have to go to the stores to get them for now. Footlocker is a national chain so it shouldn’t be hard to find one close to you.
NIKE I wish you would combine the Tn’s with Air Max 360 please. You know how to do it! 360 on the bottom and the Tn’s on the top (upper) and make those colorways HOT thank you. Don’t forget to bring back some of the classic colorways that actually did well.
Found the Women’s Animae 14″ High Heel on Easybay for $99.99 (a sale price from the original 144.99)
Lets start off this little opinion about the shoe with the: Animae??? LMAO!!! Who decided to call it that? That is very suspect… but other than that this womens boot look real good. Another grown AND sexy look by Timberland who is ever so diligently branching out from boots to casual wear, clothing even watches (but who doesn’t make a watch these days? lol and they said watches were on their way out because of cell phones phfffft).
Not allot of sizes left with these so if your going to get them, then do it. My advise is KNOW YOUR FOOT. If you know you need to try these on before you get them, then don’t do it (at least in this case) because they don’t have many sizes left and all you will end up doing is returning them. Unless you have a personal assistant, all that shopping and returning can be a hassle for the weekend warrior lol
They have another color that I am not to sure about but if you like here is the link to the tan look. Eastbay usually (but not always) has a side area for shoe or sneakers that you “may also like” and there is one that I like and that is the Timberland Women’s W Hallam Heel Angora. Its not sheek, but it is smooth.
Ladies… this is coming from a guy so you can take that with a grain of salt, BUT at the end of the day, who are you trying to empress??? Sooner or later it is a guy (or maybe a girl… nothing wrong with that lol) so maybe you will think about my choices. Feel free to comment please. I do read my comments (I may not respond, but that’s the way it goes sometimes).
Sooooooo… does anybody recognize the sneakers and shoes currently posing as wheels on this bike? Good because I don’t! I only see 2 I recognize and the rest are drawing a blank.I do, at least, know the sneaker brands represented… well except for that white and red sneaker at the top of the front “wheel” and the gray sneaker.
If you can name them, the post it in the comments, I’ll edit the post to recognize your supremeness and sneaker savvy. If your wondering where my sneaker savvy is, well I’m new to this game! lol
And now the video (this thing actually works??? LMAO)
I wouldn’t ride the thing to work, but it would seem a great way to get some excirsize. Then again, you could run in one pair of sneakers.
By the way, has anybody noticed that he picked some of the coolest sneakers to become a wheel? Is that an adidas Y-3? And those Air Force One low with the green gum is fresh! I must have missed it when those came out. Here is a closer look at the front wheel: (more…)
Its true ladies and gentlemen. I AM PROOF OF IT!!! lol Well, anyway, while I was going the news of the day, I came across this gem! It would seem that people who buy more than 3 sneaker a year are 61% more likely to be a leader (or the qualities of a modern leader). Not 3% or 20%. 61% of the people who love footwear and tend to get it at or more than 3 times a year are natural born
killers leaders! We are also more likely to be assertive (I’m not too assertive) and 47% percent likely to be spontaneous (I’m not that spontaneous… I’m a little bit like that).
Here’s a quote from the news article:
“It is often said you can tell a lot about a person by the shoes they wear, and now we have some hard data to back that up,” Arvonio told Reuters.
“What is interesting is that these personality traits held true across the board, regardless of age, income, or gender.”
The news article also goes into what type of person buys hybrid cars and people who pay their credit card bills on time. That stuff is TOTALLY UNRELATED TO SNEAKERS OR SHOES but it is interesting.
