CP3.II for 188.99 isn’t that bad at all.
I did not like these sneakers when the internetz first started showing picutres of them. I was thinking “they too busy” or “the colorways are wrong” but after seeing some better pictures, and reading the fantastic review of the sneaker on Nicekicks, I feel that maybe these sneakers got something going for them.
Lets face it, many sneakers perform well or do their job, what makes you go for one sneaker or shoe verses another is the look and style. I didn’t give this sneaker many style points at first but now I have to give it to Jordan hat they did a good job on this.
But its all about the colorways
A colorway can save a sneaker or kill one. The CP3.II seems to get the right colorways.

Not too many sneaker blogs said much about the release party… but I guess if your a sneaker blog, why post stuff that isn’t very specifically sneakers (then what the hell am I doing??? lol Oh yeah, I’m trying to take footwear loving to another level)… anyway, he had a release party of which MC Lyte, Ray J, Big Tigger and others cam through to congratulate the man Chris Paul himself.

In the end, I think this is going to be a collectible sneaker. I really didn’t think so at first, but now I do. I may get me myself a pair (but I am watching my budget this year so I may have to wait for it to be on sale if it goes that route).

No pictures (GASP) of Karl Malone sneakers or anything like that. I just want to point out that Karl Malone is on Hannity, a show on Fox. And just like he played, he is makings his presence known.

S&S Sunday Sports Wrap Up: Vick’s House Sold, High profile Players and the Economy
Oh no he didn’t just bounce the ball between my legs!
Vicks house (with an elevator that goes up 3 floors) is beautiful and is going for 3 Million. Bu with the economy being what it is, will someone really buy it for that much even if you have money? I mean if you have money, why not just put that stuff IN YOUR OWN HOUSE? lol Won’t that be more cost effective and raise the value of your own house in a neighborhood you know? Hey, just my opinion.
Tiger Woods and other high profile player may be getting a little hurt with the economy being what it is, but the guys really getting hurt are the second teir players and the bench. Loosing most or all of their deals and the possibility of getting paid less in salary as people stop going to games and start doing stuff that is cheaper… like going to the movies for 10+ a person.

Saw A White and Pink Hyperdunk Yesterday

So I saw this hyperdunk (twice actually… should have go a picture and talked to the kid) and I think they are NIKEiD sneaker cause I aint never saw this colorway before… could be fakes too, but they really looked like the real thing, and I doubt this guy… yes a guy… would get these just for them to be fake and white and pink on top of that.
So I went to NIKEiD to see if I could make them but the colorways avaiable were a little off. Anyway here are the results including wallpapers of what I call Pink Diamond.
The site says they won’t be avaiable until later in the month so I don’t know how he got them… oh well. If you want you can make the Pink Diamond colorway pretty easily on NIKEiD so give it a shot. You should sign in so you can save it.. It just makes things easier. So far I have 7 colorways made for different sneakers Plan on do some other colorways of some of the sneakers for iD later on. I’ll share when I make them.

Could this be devistating to sports marketing (at least when it comes to banks sponcering big sports naming stuff)? I suspect Nike and adidas will come into the game… imagine Nike Staduim or Bower Staduim…

I like basketball. I also like football. I do follow track and field at times and I am into over all health and well being of the athlete in America…

S&S Sports Sunday: LeBron Cover of GQ Magazine
It looks like Lebron is such a great basketball player and he looks so good on the court that he just has to be put on the cover of GQ magazine.
Read the article here… tell me why they also wanted to let you know that he contributed money to Obama, I will never know… maybe it has something to do with being grown (adult with responsibilities and is responsible and active) and sexy (getting the cover of GQ Magazine).

Oh and by the way, the Giants lost to the Eagles. (I blame you Plaxico!!!! Its called a safety for a reason.) I don’t know of any sneakers effected by his loss. The Mets new patch gets flack (again, no sneakers that I know of have been harmed in this action), Decisions Decisions… Rip Hamilton and Allen Iverson Yahoo Video… and yes, sneakers are involved with this decision… it escapes me right now who Rip wears, but I think we all know what Allen Iverson uses (Reebok The Answer 12)

Sneakers and Shoes Sunday Sports Wrap-Up = S&S Sunday Sports
If you haven’t noticed, I have been only posting Sunday – Wednesday. That will probably be my thing for the next year as I enter school, read some interesting business books, and spread the grown and sexy love across the interwebzzzz. Anyway, I decided (a while ago actually but I haven’t emplemented it.. until now) that starting next week, I will have theme posts in the hopes that some of my many 100′s of readers will have something special to look forward to.
Anyway, I figure since most sneakers are used in sports and some sort of exercise, why not talk about sports… and some sort of exercise… every once and a while.
So, here is a little Sunday Sports Wrap-Up giving you the story behind the athlete and the team wearing the sneakers.

More Flywire Hyperdunk Video Introductions… I want a pair lol
I didn’t or wasn’t that interested in the sneaker, but I think it has grown on me. Plus the fact I hear it’s a great basketball sneaker (but I guess I will have to wait until next year to find out… I guess I will start reporting on sneaker and shoe performance sooner or later) and it is soooo light weight that you don’t even feel them. I guess I am really starting to like the sneakers (the many colorways… not o much… but I like Puerto Rico)

NBA Top Ten for Monday the 24
You know, people do wear sneakers to play in, believe it or not lol I’m thinking about every so often going into the sports world and see what these basketball,track, and other sports notables who have sneakerlines are up to. Maybe I’ll call it Sunday Sports Wrap-Up or the Wednesday Wake-Up.
Anyway, NBA Top Ten for Monday is here, (but something is missing… unless I am wrong). Can you spot all the sneakers? A few players names were dropped in the video, that’s for sure.
Bring Back The Nike Air Trainer Carnivore
I want, no NEEEEED this sneaker back in my life. I bought them when they originally came out (never retroed) and loved them. They were one of the most comfortable sneakers I ever bought (most comfortable I bought was the Reebok DMX 10 Runner).
I hardly ever closed the top strap but when I did there was an amazing amount of support at the ankle. The fact that they have no laces also was a plus and the fact that the foot strap really held tight to my foot and worked just as well as laces.
I am really surprised that they have not re-released them considering all the other Huarache sneakers that have released. Granted that these sneaker are not Huarache as many people think, they were part of the Cross Trainer collection of sneakers (I could be wrong but I am looking at the sneaker right now at it has the old school cross trainer symbol and NO Huarache anything).
Converse Wade 4 Black/Red/White Looks Good
Don’t see too much Converse sneakers that are not retros look good, but these look good. I totally look forward to seeing them in real life. As seen on Nicekicks.com (for more info go there)

Olympic Sneakers and Shoes: adidas Men’s adiStar Sprint
I saw these tonight being worn by Marshevet Hooker (she is from the University of Texas) running in lane 9 for the 200M (for those who taped the games to see later). I never liked lane 9 when I was running track, but its a mental thing I guess. In lane 9 you are basically running against yourself because you can’t see anybody and when you do, it means you’re in trouble because now your running on the outside trying to catch up with someone on the inside.
LOL, you know whats funny? Lane 1 isn’t any better because now everyone is ahead of you and you feel like your last and forgetaboutit if you don’t start passing people on the curve cause you aint caching them on the straight-a-way.
Anyway, back to the track shoes, they look ok, but they looked MADDD odd out there on the field. You can’t miss them if you are looking at the womens feet for that 200M heat. They looked like they weighed a ton.
Not sure if I would run in them, but I will admit that they look pretty cool. not great, but cool.
Get yours (if you want it) at Eastbay.com on sale for $59.99 (not bad considering the original price is 79.99) of which is a good place for sports equipment. I wouldn’t say this is a collectible, but make no mistake, as my collection of sneakers and shoes grow, there will be some alternative sneakers in the bunch and I will probably have a couple pairs of track shoes in there.
