So Just What Would A Jordan Sneaker From adidas Look Like?

(I think this would be an interesting contest… yes?)

I would love to know what a adidad version of the Air Jordan (well, I guess it wouldn’t be “Air”… maybe “bounce” or something) would look like. The Shoe Game posted the video first and the comments on the video is crazy, but the one thing really left out was what WOULD it really look like.

So I was thinking of doing some of my own doodles and come up with a adidas line for Micheal Jordan…. but then I was thinking why not also ask the Shoe Game communitty to come up with some concepts? Heck, why not also ask some of those artists at the Kicks On Fire community and maybe NikeTalk  too and see what they come up with.

So I am going to ask, and then post it. I  guess people can vote on which adidas Jordan is the best or most likely to have happened. Until then, enjoy your holiday weekend! I am sure most of the sneakernets and the shoelovers are away for the weekend so it will be a slow weekend, but take heart because Tuesday is when it all starts all over again!

Nike iD Air Max 2009+ has Arrived… but the sneakernets reaction is a blank stare

Nike Air Max 2009 iD

(why no one love me? me love you long time)

Cost of admission: $185 (yes it costs more)

The Air Max 2009+ (the most comfortable sneaker I have EVER worn beating out the Reebok DMX 10 as the most comfortable sneaker) has come to Nike iD and the sneaker blogs made sure their peoples knew about it.

But then there was a dead silence.

Are These Fake? Hell Yes They Are

Air Jordan 11 and 4 Hybrid is FAKE AS HELL IS HOT

(want a hybrid of fakeness? here it is)

There is no explaination for getting this and not knowing it was fake. But I gotta ask this… was this something Brand Jordan was thinking about doing?

Make no mistake, these are fake. i refuse to pretend to ask the question “Are these Fake” and try to giveclues as to whether if they are or not.

No clues here just the answer: they fake.

The Shoe Game put it up and the comments went crazy with currently 86 comments.

So how much would you pay for this? $49.99? $69.99? How about a dollar? lol

In Case You Missed It: Usain Bolt 9:58

(amazing… don’t tell me your not gonna watch the finals)

(not going for the Bolt Arms though lol)

Yes take a look at this. Its one of the most popular things read on Sneaker and Shoes for the past week.

On Sale: Nike Men’s Eggplant Hyperdunk Basketball Shoe at Finishline

Nike Men's Hyperdunk Basketball Shoe(and its all yours)

ON Finishline: $124.99 Few Sizes Left so click here

(and yes both the eggplant and the gold has been released… don’t see the gold online though)

LeBron Does An Interview With The Life Files… and yes, theLBJ VII sneakers were mentioned

more about “the.LIFE Files Talks Nike Sneakers, J…“, posted with vodpod

(and this)

So the new LeBrons have released and the world tour begins. Now an interview with young upstart lifestyle web blog The.LIFE Files. What next? parnerships with Nike, Coke? And you see how he is talking about his brand, not him making deals directly with these company. Very interesting.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII 7

(best colorway so far… I swear lol)

I give LeBron credit for this. I was not feeling how he behaved at the end of the finals but he seems to have a good head on his shoulders and I guess that was just a slip in behavior for someone who likes to win (who doesn’t like to win? lol its what you do when you lose that makes you a champion… at least thatt’s what I tell the kids). I look forward to the next season.

That Lebron first Nike contract money…

Metalically Awesome… Nike Royal Mid

Nike Royal Mid Metalic Royal Blue

(why can’t I stop using that word awesome??? lol)

This si only for people who have enough style and just plain balls to wear (whether your a guy or a gal lol). I must agree with FreshnessMag that this sneaker looks like it somewhere between space age and retro.

Don’t tell me the retro /space age movement has ended just yet.

Nike Royal Mid Metalic Royal Blue 3quarter view

(also can be seen on HighSnob)

Yes you can get this this fall 2009. Haven’t see any prices or if it will be some sort of exclusive aka limited type of sneaker so just hope more news comes out when it releases.

What If? Sample Concept of Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low – Yellow Lobster

Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low - Yellow Lobster Sample

(AWESOME… ok I really have to stop saying that…)

Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low - Yellow Lobster

(could this possibly be the next Concept Lobster catch?)

Relax everybody. Don’t start planning on how you are going to stand on line for a pair of yellow sneakers (lol at the color choice but its still a hot sneaker). This is strictly a sample that was given to friends and family of Nike SB (according to Sneaker news.com) and there are only so many pairs of it made.

34 pairs to be precise.

Could This Be The Best Colorway Of The Air Max 2009+???

Nike Men's Air Max+ 2009

(I just love it to death… still costs $159.99)

(ps… is it me or are the ladies colorways better than the mens for this sneaker???)

Air Max 2009+ in Leather

second best colorway, but no flywire :(

Air Max 2009+ VOLT

3rd best colorway (but very hard to match casual wear lol)

Air Max 2009+ Gold-Black

4th best colorway (but don’t expect too many people to agree with me lol)

On Sale: Nike Men’s LunarGlide+ at Finishline

Nike Men's LunarGlide+ Running Shoe

(it almost looks like a normal sneakers… for $99.99)

This sneaker is just freaking intriguing. I have always wondered if this “lunar” technology would actually come in a sneaker that would look good. I did not like the first lunar sneakers (although I did try it on and it was rather comfy) due to the fact that in any size about 10 (I am a size 12) looks like a boat.

Now look at it! This just looks like something that regualr people would wear who may not know of all the tech that goes behind it. In fact I have already seen this particular sneaker 2 times this week verses NO TIME for the lunar space boat of previous generations.

I think I would love to try a pair and in fact this is one of the sneakers on my top ten sneaker list that I am working on (and yes I am doing a list for shoes as well)

Details…

On Sale: Cole Haan Zoom Flywire at Zappos

Cole Haan Zoom Flywire

(flywire on a NON-Nike sneaker? what the…)

Cole Haan Zoom Flywire - CLOSE UP

(close-up of sneakers and yes you can almost see-through it)

Here we go again! Cole Haan has another shoe (amongst many apparently) that have Nike technology in them. I think this is one of a couple of pushes to get what is used in sneakers to be put in shoes (Rockport at one time used Reebok DMX technology). Can you imagine using comfort technology that is usually put into performance sneakers and put them into casual shoes and high heels?

Finally.

LeBron VII Mania Sweeps The Sneaker Web – More Than A Game

More Than A Game World Tour

(wow… this may be the best LeBron ever to come out)

I am waiting to see what’s next and what people are saying about it… so I am gonna let things cool off for a minute before writing the wrap up. I have to say though, they really giving this sneaker a hollywood debut, that’s for sure. So far most of the colorways shown online look pretty good. Stay tunes tomorrow for a wrap up of the Lebron VII with all videos and colorways(so far)  and OF COURSE what people are saying… and not saying… about the sneaker.

Until then!!!!

I Love ACG and Sneaker Freaker Did A Special On It

ACG Sneaker Freaker Special

(I love me some ACG’s… ok, ok, not all of them lol)

Sneaker Freaker has a special on ACG, where the idea come from, and other such info that I am sure ACG fans would want to know.

I bought 2 Air Mowabbs myself (different colorways and yes I got the purple and dark brown one) and I have plenty of those Nike ACG boots.

Here is a quote from part one:

For gear that was designed solely for the outdoors, you’d think ACG would look suspiciously antisocial in the urban environment, but that’s never been the case. The consistent hallmark of all Nike shoe design is performance, but they also generally look good in any application and ACG just might be the pinnacle of this dual achievement. Lightweight sneakers for the outdoors that are versatile has been the ethos, but there is no doubting the freedom the designers have had to push the limit.

And now one from part two:

Sneaker Freaker: When an anniversary’s on there’s a tendency to bring out all the retro hits… it seems like you’re going to resist that temptation?

Stewart Horner:
We have resisted it as much as possible and tried to not do the obvious. ACG has always been about breaking away from the norm a little bit. Even in our own world we try and do things a
little bit differently to the bigger Nike brand. There will be some NSW releases of ACG, particularly the Magma and we are using the Mowabb for example, but more from a colour perspective. Overall though, you can still definitely see the vintage flavour in the new stuff.

Its a must read. And you have to see some of the kicks that they came up with. That flywire boot is no joke.

On Sale: Jordan Jeter Captain on Eastbay

Jordan Jeter Captain

(what can I say bout this other than to each his own)

This is one of those sneakers that is good looking (very good looking actually) on the field but on the street it may need a little more something something…

As of late, I see plenty of people coming from the baseball field and one of the sneakers I see on their feet is this (as well as others). I am sure if they came up with some more colorways for this sneaker, that this sneaker will make its way on the streets on massé. Because of this I will temporarily put this sneaker on the Save-A-Sneaker program, but I don’t think it will be on their for long.

Details from Eastbay:

Derek Jeter is known for his clutch plays in the field and on the plate. Dominate the game with the Jordan Jeter Captain, a superior training shoe inspired by Derek Jeter that allows athletes to take their game to the next level. Leather and synthetic leather upper includes an asymmetrical toe-cap for added protection against toe drag. Lateral window in the ankle area offers freedom of movement. Air® unit in the heel supplies maximum cushioning with minimal weight. Midsole flex grooves extend up the medial and lateral forefoot for added performance. Rubber sole includes expanded herringbone and nub traction for multi-surface workouts.

For 109.99 you can get these on your feet and on the field. I like how they have large sizes for those with lare feet (too bad Nike just doesn’t believe in having widths for sneakers that are popular).

adidas SLVR Collection is pretty interesting

adidas SLVR Collection for women

(do you think you can work this look?)

This is an interesting looking sneaker/shoe/high heel for the ladies. Its sort of a big mix of all 3 and I am not sure if it does it well (probably need to see it in person), but it sure is a looker and you WILL get attention to your feet wearing them; no question. I think the lady wearing these will do well to get something to match for sure. This is one high heeled sneaker that DEMANDS you to dress for them and not the otherway around.

Here is a quote from Sneaker Freaker about this sneaker and the collection:

Launched early this year with a tagline boast of being ‘Simply Perfect’, this new range from adidas is a cocky start to a whole new ballgame. Whilst SLVR appears to be a high fashion concept, adidas PR describes it as ‘affordable, attainable and ultimately wearable’ which, given prices for the footwear are all under €130, seems fair enough. Perhaps the most interesting SLVR footwear innovation is what the shoes don’t have. Like the deadpan Stan Smiths of yesteryear, the range has no adidas branding, no trefoil and zero stripes. The only indication of a maker’s mark are three horizontal bars. There’s also tote bags, socks and a line of classically basic clothing that
has a slight sport tinge to it, and even SLVR flip flops.

Tote bags, flip flops, low cost aka affordable (well lower cost than high end 200+ dollar sneakers) and only those in the know will actually know your footwear is from adidas.

adidas Vulcanized Boot (KAZUKI OBYO COLLECTION) is like wow dude!!!!

Adidas Vulcanized Boot kazuki Obyo Collection

(but are these really boots??? lol)

Here is the quote from Sneaker Freaker about this sneaker:

We’ve shown you the adidas x Jeremy Scott ObyO (Originals by Originals) collection, now it’s time to hit you with the 2nd installment, designed by Tokyo’s fashion darling Kazuki. Having worked closely with Japanese labels BAPE, Fragment Design, Neighborhood and Visvim in the past, Kazuki brings his flair for tailored fashion to the casual market with his inspiring collection for adidas. For more information on the collection, hit up the mini site at Hanon Shop.

So basically this is one hot looking boot and/or sneaker. adidas is a sneaker company I love, but for whatever reason they don’t seem to do to well in the casual area of footwear. Coming up with this makes me think that they are making a comeback to the shell top adidas days of the 1980′s.

Maybe some of these sneaker companies should team up with designers more often to come up with something that the streets will actually love.

On Sale: Reebok Smoothfit Selectride on Eastbay

Reebok Smoothfit Selectride - Men's

(now you can select a ride LMAO)

I have NO IDEA if this works but it sure does sound off. Its a little too pricey for me to just buy it only to test it out, but I figure I will try t read the reviews of the sneaker and maybe I can ask someone to review it.

But other than selecting a ride, there is nothing special  style wise about the sneaker. I am sure if I was running track like I used to back in the day that this sneaker would be used quite allot but its not a casual or sports fashion sneaker that’s for sure.

Here is a video of the sneaker from Stack.com (they even show a inner detail of the sneaker) that you can go see over there. Reebok has a couple of vides on this sneaker so check them out too:

(I will be the first to admit I did not watch the whole thing lol)

You can join the fun for $149.99 at Eastbay

Supra Says Your baby Needs To Get Their Kick Game Up: Supra Baby Skytops

Supra Baby Skytops

(the babies keep getting the freshest gear)

(and yes they can even get high heels lol)

Supra’s done it! Now you and your whole family can have the same kicks. Sure you could have done that before, but now you can be trendy and in the know while most of the public may not even know what a Supra is… but you know and your fellow SneakerHead do too.

Future Sole… So what did you vote for?

Nike's Future Sole Contest - AustinJ Design

(so I guess you guys know what I voted for)

Austin J is a winner to me. Although I liked most of the entries that was submitted (I was wondering why there wasn’t more entries to the contest), but I liked the one Austin J the best.

Here are some others that I found interesting:

If you want to vote, then head over to Nike’s Future Sole website and start voting.

An Interesting Look: adidas TS Lightning Creator

adidas TS Lightning Creator

(the colors… looks at all the colors)

I guess its sort of a response to Nike’s Swagger Terminator sneakers but I wouldn’t put it on the same planet as far as style. It’s like 2 totally different styles; one is high end smooth and the other is more gansta ruff, but still attractive…. just not to me lol

See more pics at Kenlu.net (because I refuse to post it here lol) The sneaker also seems to have glow in the dark soles of which add a nice touch to them (but that don’t make them Yeezy’s)

On Sale: KD1 at Eastbay

Nike KD1

(a simple look that is on sale between $59-89)

*and yes that is my customized cursor… should be a sneaker lol)

On Sale: PUMA Cell Voltra at FootAction

PUMA Cell Voltra

(this looks VERY interesting)

I plan on stopping by FootAction sometime in the next week (hopefully to pick up those Half Cent Penny’s) and I hope to see these in the store so I can get a look at them. I can’t imagine that the whole yellow area being cushion but then again with technology going as far as it is, why not? Can’t wait to get a closer look at this.

So who is willing to put there feet in these for $99.99?

See more pics of these at kenlu.net
