Looks like NikeStore website got a little update…
(looking better NikeStore)
I won’t go into a big ole rant about it (maybe later… and will probably feature it on the main site too lol… FYI – usually keep the rants to the blog and as well as my KicksOnFire blog where i may get a little more… direct shall we say) but I have to say the little touch up on the site just may make it worth going to the site to shop.
I hardly ever shop on the NikeStore and mainly it is because the site is TOTALLY flash based and it just gets annoying after a while. Maybe, one day, they will use flash far less but for now I have to say that the small update in the user interface is very noteworthy.
Check it out for yourself by clicking HERE
PS
The name of the shoe in the pic is the Nike Bandon Men’s Golf Shoe… in case you were wondering.
Diggin’ In Those Sneaker Crates: The Puma Winner Pack
(for those winner months of yesteryear)
Did you get these back when they came out? Well, did you? Aren’t you a winner? lol Just digging in those sneaker crates… March 2009 on Sneakerfiles.com
Save A Sneaker: Air Jordan XV SE
(BP of NikeTalk just saved the AJ XV SE)
A sneaker or shoe can be saved (most of the time) by a change in how the colorway is done. Here is another example of what could have made a sneaker come from just being something that you get because you couldn’t get something else Vs. actually wanting the product. Here BP shows us what could have been with the Air Jordan XV SE. The SE has a few great points with it that I liked (especially technology wise), but the colorways was a no go for most of them.
Would you get these if they came in this colorway?
On Sale: Reebok Women’s Freestyle Hi
(and just when I thought the Freestyle’s were replaced with the EastyTone)
I must have caught on to this late because I think I read about this relase on Nicekicks or something. Anyway, I know PLENTY of ladies who wore the Freestyle. If I remember correctly, the Freestyle helped put Reebok on the map against Nike back in the day. I wonder if they are doing the same thing with the EastTone? (same thing for sketchers and its Shape-Ups)
Either way, Reebok and Finishline still has plenty of colorways of the Freestyle. And the colorways sound like flavors… Pastry anyone… so be sure to get your favorite “flavor” of sneaker for your feet.
The Freestyle is currently on sale in a big way on Finishline for less than $30 bucks. Its a win-win situation so lets go people. Click HERE for more info.
On Sale: Baby Phat Women’s Icon Babe Hi on Finishline

If you think its for you, then go get them. Sizes are limited so hurry.
On Sale: Puma Drift Cat II SF Casual Shoe
(well now isn’t this an interesting look)
Pua seems to be always making a sneaker with ties to Ferrari. So if you can imagine yourself coming out of a Ferrari you may see yourself in a pair of these (if anything, it has the same prancing horse on it).
I have to admit that these caught my eye as I was browsing the internet for sneakers and shoes. they are nice and clean, original euro style (remember when that was REALLY popular in NYC back in 2006-07?), and it has a nice pattern that doesn’t totally overtke the sneaker.
I think I am in love.
Details (courtesy of Finishline):
This high-octane, Formula One-inspired shoe will get your blood pumping. The Puma Drift Cat II SF features a leather and synthetic upper with repeat print detail and Ferrari branding. A cushy midsole gives you comfort and support, while an oil-resistant outsole to keep you on track.
Get a pair if you wish AT FINISHLINE.COM by clicking here. These type of sneakers stlye tends to be one size smaller than what it says (especially size 12) so either try it on in a store or know your size.
On Sale: Reebok Easy Tone Women’s Fitness Shoe

(what colorway HASN’T been a hit?)
Whether its the BRED (Varsity Red vs Infrared anyone???), black and white, Cool Grey or whatever, its a hit. The picture above is the Air Jordan 16.5 Hoyas “G” (yeah I call them the G… not the official nickname but maybe it will catch on lol). First seen on Sneakerfiles with pics from jumpman23.com

Save a Sneaker: Air Jordan 22 by BP of NikeTalk
(what if the AJ XX came out in these colors… would you get them?)
On Sale: New Balance 1906… looks cool but it will cost you
(New Balance… because why not?)
This particular New Balance sneaker will hurt your wallet bu 200.00. Yes, New Balance made a sneaker that you will have to spend around 200+ dollars (after taxes… that is if your state actually collects sales taxes). I guess this is priced for the serious runner and I will admit it just makes me curious as to how comfortable it is to charge so much.
Details from Eastbay
Full-length N-ergy™ offers a unique, supportive cushioning experience as it compresses upon impact, and the distribution of impact forces to give the New Balance 1906 running shoe an unsurpassed ride. LockDown™ liner wraps the foot for added support. NLock® integrated lacing and webbing system brings optimal fit, support and security. BIOCOOL® liner provides excellent moisture management properties and maintains a favorable environment for the foot inside the shoe.
Got you hooked? Eastbay got them from sizes 7 – 13. New Balance is known for having widths which bes the question: do this come in 4E? (No they don’t… 2E is the widest)
the ladies seem to get the best colorways… New Air Max 2009+ in Black-Sport Red
(I can see the guys buying this one right now lol)
Nike has decided to show the ladies some real love with the Air Max 2009+ because release after release or a new colorway seems to be on the ladies side. Sure the men get the Volt and silver-red colorways but the ladies have almost 4 different non-disputable hot colorways AT LEAST.
The Air max 2009+ is the most comfortable sneaker I have even worn. I am sure its the same for the women. If you run (or do allot of walking) in the city, this is a pair of kicks for you. Personally I like running on the track with my Air Max 2009+ and leave the sidewalk running to the adidas mega-bounce. But if I had to choose one, it would be the Air max 2009+
Get them at Finishline right now. PRICE BE DAMNED! You need this sneaker if you want to feel true comfort while walking or jogging (running… well maybe not so much… I think it really depends on how you run and your foot, but when does it not depend on that?)
What’s This? Nike Blazers Now With A Video Screen?
(???)
(why wasn’t I informed of this?)

This has to be a joke…. WHY ARE YOU PLAYING WITH MY EMOTIONS?!
On Sale: Puma Men’s Hooper Mid at Finishline
(a smooth sneaker for a smooth gu… if you know how to rock them)
Currently on sle at Finishline for $44.98 size 8 – 14 left as of today
Converse Weapon Evo Has A Low Top
(looks pretty good)
So the weapon Evo now gets the low-top treatment and looks good doing it. I would almost say that (depending on how they treat the colorways of course) that the low top looks better than the hi-top. Its like a convertible that looks great but when you add the hardtop it looks a little off but still good.
????
I hope I am not loosing anybody with that one. According to Sneaker Obsession, the pics first showed up on a Chinese website but no further details have been made. I hope they come out with them and I hope this is the beginning of putting Converse back on the map when it comes to Basketball.
Super Sale: Nike Men’s Comfort Slide Sandal on Finishline

Most sizes still avaiable for $19.99 at Finishline
An Interesting Nike Sportwear Entry Page
[Yeezy gets featured on Nike sportwear Page]
If you head to the Nike Sportwear site for the first time, you ened up on this landing page. The landing page lets you choose your language and it also gives you a look at Nike’s future…. something that SneakerFreaker talks a little bit about (just a little bit lol)
Anyway, just thought I would let yall know. I personally think this has some meaning behind it. They choose this sneaker above thers for a reason. Makes me wonder whats next on Nike’s agenda for 2010+
