Good lawd this is… awesome? LMAO The interwebz isn’t too happy about the sneaker at all and I have to admit I thought these would look better considering the goodness that we got for the Air Jordan 23 (a sneaker I was not very into when I first saw the preview sketches but found them quite attractive once I saw the real pictures) but that is not the case.

I am sure that these sneakers perform like top of the line sneakers and when i read all the stuff about them, it would seem that this was a high priority. But for going to highschool in or strolling down the block to hang out with the fellas, this sneaker just doesn’t seem to cut it very well.
I don’t know… I have to see them in person for real. I like the fact that each sneaker is unique due to its glass like mid-section that take on a different look for each sneaker, and I like the heel (many don’t… but since I am so into all type of shoe, why wouldn’t I like heel? LOL)
And what’s this S23 version crap? It just looks like the black version seen earlier on Sneakerfiles of course without the white I guess… lol
Well on February 14th we will all find out if this is the sneaker for 2009. I do wonder what an all white and red version will look like or a black and red (BRED aka BREaD). Anyway whether people like the AJ2009 or not, I think 2009 being a slow year (the Eggplant Foamposites being the biggest blip of the year).

Wow, I Missed A Whole Bunch Of Crap
For my loyal 200 or so readers (andthe 1000 or so google searches of people randomly landing here) I did not forget you. Currently doing some grad school classes and my schedule is super tight like Chris brown sneakers.
Yes I have been following that… despite the drama around what happened, I couldn’t help but to look at his feet… Air Jordan and Nike SB gets resprsented hard.
Lets see, what else happened… Air Jordan 2009 PE colorways seem to show that the AJ2009 can look better with another colorway. It is still not one of the better looking AJ’s but it has potential looks wise.
Air Penny 3 are comingout, Clae2009 got some heat, more Gucci colorway sneakers, Lil Penny is seen around town, and those ladies high heels are just getting more detailed and crazy… so are the celebs wearing them.
I got lots in store for those who are sticking around till the 21 when I finish revamping stuff and taking my finals…I plan on taking a break from grad school so the posts should come flying out after that.
I got so many opinions!!! lol Don’t forget to continue to stop by because you never know when I might find a cool sale online.
Are These Fake? Air Jordan 2009 – White Red and Black
They look alright. Sort of a a Holy Grail Air Jordan 6 flavor but with more white…. but is it fake? Even if they are fake, I think the Jordan team would do well adobting some of that colorway. I think a white and red version of the Air Jordan 2009 (without the black or maybe less black) would look good.
FYI
Jordan may pull off the AJ2009 if he gets those colorways right and those materials on point. Let the patent leather go (maybe one pair can get it but the rest, please use something else) and go with rich leather or soft brush leather (like on the black and red AJ14′s).

Wale – Nike Boot (a music video)
I sort of can’t imagine someone making a video just for Nike Boots, but then again they are so freaking comfortable that I can see someone coming up with the idea and being inspired to do it.
I mean those Nike Boots (especially the Goadome) are very comfortable. If you work on your feet all day, then you are getting these boots. Will Nike, one day, make comfortable work boots too?

More Flywire Hyperdunk Video Introductions… I want a pair lol
I didn’t or wasn’t that interested in the sneaker, but I think it has grown on me. Plus the fact I hear it’s a great basketball sneaker (but I guess I will have to wait until next year to find out… I guess I will start reporting on sneaker and shoe performance sooner or later) and it is soooo light weight that you don’t even feel them. I guess I am really starting to like the sneakers (the many colorways… not o much… but I like Puerto Rico)

LeBron James New Chalk Commercial
Did I post this before? Doubt it lol Anyway I just saw the commercial and I have to admit I am starting to REALLY feel the marketing push for LeBron. I mean, I like him and he does some pretty good work on the hardwood, but I wasn’t neccisarly a fan… but I am starting to get pulled in, especially with all of his New York themed sneakers that make a so-so looking sneaker look hot (I said it before, and I will say it again, I do not like the design of the LeBron VI BUT the colorways and materials designed for it make it worth getting… and if you play ball they are really a nice supportive sneaker).
If LeBron comes to NY in 2010 (lawd knows I want him to come to Brooklyn and play for the Nets but we got that stadium problem and it not being built yet and all in downtown Brooklyn).
Next year if going to be interesting already.
All The Black Friday Air Jordan 23 in ONE Video
Not a super detail video of each sneaker, but lets face it, you already know what it looks like, and what it feels like. If you read my blog here you already know how I feel about patent leather all over the place, but I think it works here somewhat… I still wish it was just regular white leather.
Either way, I am defiantly getting the Motorsports. If I get another pair (and its highly likely that I will) it will be the white red and black aka Bulls. The Bulls is actually the best looking one out of the 3 that will released. Too bad it will be limited.

Timerland just couldn’t leave patent leather alone and had to join the patent leather band wagon. I am not a fan of patent leather being on EVERYTHING but this looks ok. This boot is obviously for the causal wearer who gets caught in the rain every once in a while and NOT for the guy chucking it on the back path in the woods… yes ironically the boot name has the word “chukka” in it but that is not the point lol
If you want the rugged timelessness of the Timberland Chukka with a touch of luxury symbolized in the patent leather, then this is the boot for you. I am sure it is just as good as any other chukka boot Timberland makes, but I am sure that this was made for the casual wearer who just goes to work and comes home.

I meant to post this many moons ago when this sneaker first showed up on the internet. I like it and I think these will be popular for the ladies and the couple of guys who will wear them despite the fact that it was made specifically for the ladies.
As a person who believes in being grown, profesional and fashion savvy at the same time, I am happy to read this commonet on the design process of this sneaker:

Looks like the LeBron Six Blitz is on today! I actually saw someone wearing them and they looked alright. I wasn’t too keen on them at first, but I like the more now than I did originally. The guys who put together the colorways for LeBron sneakers must be genesis’s because they can turn sneakers I don’t like into something I want (like the LeBron V). Complex has a special page on Nike Olympic sneakers. Some of what they show is stuff I posted a month+ back when the Olympics was on and poppin. Complex has a full 3 pages of stuff you may have seen and stuff you may not have.
All I know is that I want those sneakers for weight lifters (with the real wood heal support). And those sneaker for canoeing are pretty cool too. lol and I wasn’t aware that gymnastics had real footwear but apparently they do.
Bring Back The Nike Air Trainer Carnivore
I want, no NEEEEED this sneaker back in my life. I bought them when they originally came out (never retroed) and loved them. They were one of the most comfortable sneakers I ever bought (most comfortable I bought was the Reebok DMX 10 Runner).
I hardly ever closed the top strap but when I did there was an amazing amount of support at the ankle. The fact that they have no laces also was a plus and the fact that the foot strap really held tight to my foot and worked just as well as laces.
I am really surprised that they have not re-released them considering all the other Huarache sneakers that have released. Granted that these sneaker are not Huarache as many people think, they were part of the Cross Trainer collection of sneakers (I could be wrong but I am looking at the sneaker right now at it has the old school cross trainer symbol and NO Huarache anything).

I like them. My money is currently tied up in “The Year of Jordan” and other releases such as the Eggplant Foamposite, those hybrid Footlocker exclusive Air Max Plus Tn x Air Max 360 and those Skytops and those Creative Recreations and not to mention the grown and sexy shoe I need to go with my casual wear and suits… (ok that is a lot of footwear purchasing lol) so I don’t think I will be getting them, but i do believe they are collectibles and would be great on the court.

I love me some Kelly Rowland. I am sure if we were to meet, that she would fall in love with me… in fact all the DC women would fall for my incredible charm and poise.
