Air Max 2011 is a Good Look

(starting to like this more than the 2009)

This may be another hit. I’ll admit I wasn’t to into this but I have to say I can’t wait to see it in person.

The 2009 Air Max is still the best to me but I guess when these start coming out in February we will see if they stay as the best.

FYI: the Air Max 2009 really got popular in NYC AFTER the price went down from 160 to 110-130 dollars.

Nike Air Max 360 Rejuven8

(a clear classic pair of kicks)

One of the most comfortable sneakers I ever worn (until I got the Nike Air 2009) is pictured here.  The history of Nike Air to the date of when these kicks were released is on the reflective upper skin and give the sneaker a very unique look.

Make no mistake though… when these came out there were not that popular and in fact I got these on sale for less than 80 bucks. Not sure if they would be considered cool now or not, but back then it took a while to get these off the shelves… at least in NYC.

More pics of the kicks will be released soon here as well as a review of them on the main site (when ever I get the main site ready)

Air Max 360 Rejuvine8 – Preview Shots

(man, these things reflect)

For me, these kicks at the time I got them, are the second most comfortable sneaker I had ever worn (at that time, the top comfortable sneaker I had ever worn was the Reebok DMX 10) . They were light and pretty flexible.

And reflective…

Maybe that put people off, because they were hyper reflective, maybe because they were a nice bright green, or maybe it was the history of air printed on the sides of the sneaker.

One way or another, these kicks ended up on sale, and I bought them for 79.99 at Dr Jays many years ago. I guess, in some ways, that is what other people are doing today with the Air Max 2009 and that is the 160 price was too high, but once it went down to 129-139, all of a sudden, they were everywhere.

But once you put them on and wear them, you see why they are worth 160 and are more willing to buy it at that price too. Already did that once, and will be doing it again this weekend (getting those Air Attack 2010 in black/neon)

Plan on seeing a review of these kicks, more pics, and so forth once the site opens up. Just diggin in those sneaker crates…

Air Max 2010 AIR ATTACK – volt/volt on volt… still on sale yall so when you getting them?

(seriously, even Rihanna got them)

Ok, its not my style so I wouldn’t get them, but there is something very nice about them that is for sure. Maybe its the details the sneaker has that gives it the shadow play necessary to look good even in a solid colorway.

Whatever the reason they look good and extremely bold, the bottom line is that it can work as a fashion look if that is what you are looking for.

You can get them RIGHT HERE at NikeStore.com for $160

Air Max 2010…. I really want these on my feet

(not sure bout those yellow laces though)

I am not a fan of yellow, but the sneaker has enough black to make the yellow not so beamingly yellow. Its a slick sneaker as far as I see it. Not sure why many in the sneakernets don’t like it as far as looks are concerned (and yet are floored by the look of the 2011… of which I am not sure about).

Make no mistake, no matter how bad or good the sneaker looks, this sneaker is AWESOMELY comfortable. Running in them is pretty cool too (but not the best for me though unless I am running on grass or track surface) and walking in them is totally freakin awesome.

Sooooooooo… the Air max 2010 is a must get. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of your life.

I believe the Air Max 2010 is a Finishline exclusive (I think) but you can also get them at NikeStore.com RIGHT HERE

(yeah i know i wrote on the air max 2010 before… expect me to do it again lol)

Air Attack 24-7… now with faux horse hair

Is this sneaker a collectible? It sure is. Might not be the collectible most think of but it is very much something you may want in your climate controlled sneaker closet.

All part of the ever expanding Nike Air Attack of which is seemingly trying to bring back the better parts of 2007-08 color craziness. Remember that? It was bananas… like literally bright yellow banana colors all over the place lol

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

You can get them RIGHT HERE along with other parts of the Air Attack Pack at NikeStore.com

Fake horse hair… all for you (it actually looks pretty smooth in person), and plenty of air. I am sure, as people are finding out all over NYC, that the Air Max 2009 is a sneaker worth paying $160 for.

Reebok Easy Tone keeps on growing and toning that a**

(and yes guys, there is an EasyTone for you too)

Reebok EasyTone seems to be a big winner for them. It’s not the first time that Reebok has used womens fitness to get the edge up on the competition (Reebok Freestyle anyone???). Now it has more colorways AND there is a running version and a flip flop version as well…. flip flops people, seriously? LMAO

Thankfully the flip flops are not as pricey as the full sneaker but thats not the point. the point is that this thing just keeps on getting bigger (all the while you butt gets smaller and more toned).

Does it work? I have no idea. I know a couple of people who got them and they like it but I have no idea if their butts are better for it. I guess I will ave to investigate LOL

See the Reebok family of EasyTone kicks RIGHT HERE, including the Flip Flop RIGHT HERE.

Reebok Zig Tech is taking over football apparently

(wow… I know you see it with those colors)

Reebok is really pushing this out.You getting videos on the net, people running around on the stage with lab coats on…  I mean it really getting crazy. Now you can customize them to your liking on the Reebok website for an extra 25 bucks.

First seen on Sole Magazine HERE

Who thinks these will get retro’ed 10 years from now?

On Sale: Nike Jana Star Waffle III Women’s Cross-Country Racing Sneaker

(because you are suppossed to run in sneakers sometimes)

Yeay, sometimes I will post about kicks that or not for general casual use. although, with all the snow and ice on the ground in NYC, walking with sneakers with spikes may be the sulution to slipping on the ice.

Its always cool to have some style when you are killing yourself running through the field, dirt, and dealing with inclement weather in these. Although you may not recognize them when your done with the first race. Get them at NikeStore.com for a very vauable price of $50 dollars.

Nike LunarElite… now shoes think for your feet… what’s next?

(its gonna be a good year)

Need a light? Need a light that thinks for your feet? Nike thinks so. Nike made 3 different types of “lunar” for you. This one is the LunarElite (the others are LunarSwift and Lunar Glide). Finishline also has them (but they don’t look the same for some reason).

NikeStore display for the new kicks is pretty fantastic. I don’t like NikeStore over use of flash but in this case it works really well (in fact Nike has improved its site sometime in the last few months and now uses less flash than before).

More on this later. Check out the site now by going HERE.

Timberland Moutian Athletics… watch out for the bear chasing you

(just wondering if anybody would cop these)

Was gonna post this a looooooong time ago but just plain forgot. Have to admit that SOME of the sneakers… or should I say trail shoes… look pretty nice. Lets face it, if you are running the train you are not thinking about “ohhh my new kicks just got mud and they got sliced by some rocks and a tree branch”

In case you are into this kinda stuff, or just want something more essential than visual, take a look at the timberland site (that many celebs seem to like and is a staple for rappers, even the ones who are off that lol)

Click HERE for the crazy site they made to introduce the sneakers/shoes. You may want to turn down your sound, because i didn’t and was rudely surprised by “don’t give up” and bear growls (the site is also is interactive and if you don’t move your mouse…. WATCH OUT lol

And YES they HAVE AN APP for that… why I don’t know.

Just what Nike needs… Running shoes harder on joints than a pair of high heels: study

(don’t run in these ladies… and I guess some guys lol)

So basically what they are saying is that running shoes are worst on your joints than high heels. Looking at the xray you would think that would not be the case.

I guess its time for those sneakers that look like feet, right?

Gonna have to look into this one and feature it on the site. Why? because I just bought 3 pair of running sneakers LMAO

On Sale: Mizuno Men’s Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe

Well, well, well… guess who has a discount? Since finishline wants to hide what the new price is on its website (at least until you put in the cart… I am not sure what the point of that is) I won’t post the price, but if you wanted to try something new, here is your chance.

I will probably give these a try, but it won’t be this year. They look mad comfortable though. Click here for more details at Finishline

Looks Like The Air Max 2009+ NFW Has Some New Colors

(who says no fly wire is a bad idea

Just in time for winter… a very cold winter… we get 3 new colorways for the Air Max 2009+ using leather. I am glad that they came out with the all black one first because that pair can be easily worn to work and it won’t be a big deal because they are black (even though the sneaker in all black look all plain).

They can be all yours for 160 dollars a pair. I think I may have to get myself one because running/walking in 19 degree weather probably requires some leather protection. The white and red are still my favorites but that black silver and green is right behind it as a second favorite.

Head over to Finishline for more info.

On Sale: Saucony Progrid Razor at Eastbay

(wow… this is… interesting….)

If you are into… interesting… sneakers, then maybe you want to take a look at this particular kick up for sale at Eastbay. It has that Air Mowabb look to it that sort of makes me want a Air Mowabb.

But since I missed that boat this year, maybe this will comfort me at night lol

Its actually a handsome sneaker but admittingly it is not for everyone. Here are the details courtesy of Eastbay:

Go the distance in the Saucony ProGrid Razor trail running shoe. Three-quarter cut for protection against the elements. Breathable eVent™ lining adds waterproof protection. eVent™ fabric bootie. HRC™ Strobel board increases cushioning and comfort. YKK® zipper closure with hook-and-loop collar. Anti-odor and antimicrobial Ortholite® sockliner provides improved step-in comfort with rebound properties. Heel ProGrid™ with Respon-Tek™ deflection technology absorbs impact, dissipates shock and offers a seamless transition from heel through forefoot.

If you want them (for running on the trail or otherwise), they are at Eastbay for $134.99

the ladies seem to get the best colorways… New Air Max 2009+ in Black-Sport Red

(I can see the guys buying this one right now lol)

Nike has decided to show the ladies some real love with the Air Max 2009+ because release after release  or a new colorway seems to be on the ladies side. Sure the men get the Volt and silver-red colorways but the ladies have almost 4 different non-disputable hot colorways AT LEAST.

The Air max 2009+ is the most comfortable sneaker I have even worn. I am sure its the same for the women. If you run (or do allot of walking) in the city, this is a pair of kicks for you. Personally I like running on the track with my Air Max 2009+ and leave the sidewalk running to the adidas mega-bounce. But if I had to choose one, it would be the Air max 2009+

Get them at Finishline right now. PRICE BE DAMNED! You need this sneaker if you want to feel true comfort while walking or jogging (running… well maybe not so much… I think it really depends on how you run and your foot, but when does it not depend on that?)

Even TechCrunch (a technology blog) Loves Vibram Five Finger Shoes

Vibram FiveFingers Flow

(well, I first seen it on TechCrunch but its really on CrunchGear…. big difference lol)

And how did such a post do on a technology and gadget blog? It did very well (191 comments so far) and it spurred a second post as well on running later on here. I almost think that the one person I saw wearing them after the post was made was wearing them because of the post on CrunchGear… but I didn’t get a chance to ask him so I will never know.

I guess I gota make a list of these new wave footwear that has been coming out as of late. Between MBT, Skechers (and their MTB look alike), and Vibram “feet you wear… literally” sneakers, it looks like technology for the feet is still moving forward.

I know I am going to give that Vibram a shot. $70+ dollars seems a little expensive for something that you just want to try out, but I will give them a shot and report back.

(remember we weren’t born with shoes… its true lol)

(don’t expect me to do any of that type of testing though)

Nike iD Air Max 2009+ has Arrived… but the sneakernets reaction is a blank stare

Nike Air Max 2009 iD

(why no one love me? me love you long time)

Cost of admission: $185 (yes it costs more)

The Air Max 2009+ (the most comfortable sneaker I have EVER worn beating out the Reebok DMX 10 as the most comfortable sneaker) has come to Nike iD and the sneaker blogs made sure their peoples knew about it.

But then there was a dead silence.

I’ll Be Starting Wednesday Workout Soon

(geeeeeeeeze this is funny)

(thought I throw a classic at you lol)

Why am I doing this? because I need to start working out… and I think one of the reasons why SOME people by sneakers is to… guess what? work out in them? Go figure. So far the sneaker I have in my arsenal are the Nike Shox, Nike Air Max 360 (rejuvenation), and the adidas Megabounce Mega Burst special addition “Rainbow”.

I actually did a little running in the adidas and I have to say that they really do what they say such that with each step they return some of that energy. I never ran in the 360′s before, but hope to get them a shot tomorrow at the track (but I really got them to walk around in… want to get to 2 miles or 30 minutes 4 days a week walking)

I will be testing out sneakers shortly (especially if Finishline keeps that return a sneaker program going) and I will be having family members testing sneakers (and shoes) shortly as well in the hopes that there can be more than just insane rants on how the sneaker or shoe looks. Now I will have insane rants on how they actually work (or don’t work).

Remember breakfast is really important part of the day LMAO

On Sale: Nike Air Max 97 Fresh Water’s Are Fresh

Air Max 95 Fresh Water!!!

(get rid of the flash webite Nike please)

Future Release: Nike Air Max ST = HAWT

Nike Air Max ST in white with black and red hilights

(retro fresh for your feet)

There is just something about this sneaker that brings back memories. Its a nice clean sneaker, that’s for sure and I do appreiceate the technology that was put into it at the time (of which was 1992).

Nike unleashed the Air Max ST, at the time, its most technologically advanced running model yet.  The shoe featured a much larger Air sole unit in the heel than had ever been used on a Nike running shoe and also added an Air unit in the front of the shoe as well. The Air Max ST also incorporated Nike’s Footbridge technology to even further improve cushioning and comfort. Other nice features of the ST were the breathable leather/mesh upper and the addition of a Neoprene tongue

Sounds great for running in as well. And the retro movement continues…

How Many Sneakers Does A Shrimp Use?

Thats allot of running sneakers for this guy. I wonder how many Air Max 97′s would he get if he could? Damn near every color and flavor you can think of is out so I am sure each pair of feet (or what ever you call those) can have their own limited edition footwear.

So adidas has ANOTHER bounce commercial…

I swear adidas is taking this bounce thing too far LOL

I have not gotten a pair of adidas bounce yet. I have bought a pair and expect to be running in them on Thursday so I will give you loyal readers (all 10-12 of you) a preview review. Yes I know, I owe you guys a review on the LeBron Soldiers and the Nike boot Seamless Goamare. It coming. Just give me a couple more days on that one.

The actual commercial is funny; not great, but funny. I do wonder how well they are doing with the bounce sneakers. Are they pushing it or is it moving on its own? I compare the bounce to the Nike Shox but I won’t really know until I get my megabounce sneaker on Thursday.

It seems to me that they push the microbounce more than the mega, but that may just be my perception. I see the bounce type sneaker about everyday, but not too much. I do mostly see the micro-bounce so maybe people like that more.

adidas has a YouTube page where you can meet the individual bounces (lol). Maybe I’ll have some fun and do a post on “Meet the Bounces” lol. Where else do you get this kind of stuff?
