Decided to browse Flickr after months of totally ignoring on of the best places to see sneaker shots and this is one of the first pics I have seen. I think i is a interesting custom job that is very kid like and best of all, it features poop.
Yes, you read it right; poop.
On the side of this custom is what I think most people would interped as poop:

Oh and that’s not all. There is more! I saw this on the catalog that Eastbay send you and I was pretty intriged when I saw it. So I looked at the online Eastbay site and BAM there it is. So far I count 7 different teams. A girly as the Miami one looks (shown above), it is one of the best looking ones in the collection so far.
If you get the whole team, it will set you back a few pennies. More than 300 dollars. I guess adidas figures that it your willing to pay 310 dollars for 2 Air Jordans, then you will pay 300+ for 4 item, ESPECIALLY since it is popular in a few cities including NYC.

In previous shots of the Orange Peel V Fusions, it didn’t look like it would have patent leather, but now it seems that it does (check it out at AltSnk). Personally, I think it would look better without it.
A closer look at previous pictures does make it look like that they always had patent leather but the images don’t show it as well. It looks like most of the shoe will be white patent leather with what I think is a very cool pattern around the toe and heel. Plus a reflective 3M tongue. It still looks good to me, but I much rather have regular leather instead of patent leather.
This will defiantly be a great summer look (not the best colorway though). Comes out in May.
Fila Helmsman Hi VS. Prada America’s Cup 2007 Collection

Could it be that 2 different companies designed the same look? Is it fair to say that Fila copied off of Prada just because Prada came out with their sneaker first? Is BAPE a knock of of NIKE? Should MIKE23 Inc still continue or should NIKE send a cease and desist order?
In NYC there are many, and I say MANY people wearing the lower cost Fila Helmsman (of which does sort of look better than the Prada look by a little bit) , but when I first saw “the look” it was Prada and it was popular too. I am not sure how so many people could have possibly afford the price Prada was asking for it. Original prices were in the 300 range and yet I saw kids… straight junior high kids… wearing them.
Maybe the Fila version (which is obviously a copy of the original Prada look… I mean, dude Prada based their shoe off of the water and Fila calls their shoe the Helmsman??? LMAO) which I will admit looks better than the Prada look just hit the price point range that people could wrap their wallets around. Even though Fila came out later, I see way more Fila versions than Prada versions. Then again, how can I really tell???
In other news… how does Prada make a patent leather shoe – slash – sneaker that is made for the water? Does patent leather mean water-proof? lol Americas Cup??? I guess the same thing goes for Fila Helmsman. Would you helm anything in these sneakers?

Not too bad. I don’t know if i would wear it, but it is grown and sexy. Here is what the description on Eastbay says:

You know what it is? I don;t like the bottom back of the shoe. That is what it is. It looks incredibly bulky. If that wasn’t there, it would be great. I wonder if you would get away with wearing this in a club?

I think this is great! Just fantastic… well maybe not fantastic, but its pretty good. It is definiatly a grown and sexy look. It is a nice smooth brown that will really go with anything. You might get away with going to the club that has a somewhat high dress code.
According to Sneakerfiles, this is a House of Hoops design (or an exclusive, not sure). While I like the hi-tops, the low top sneakers do look better. Check it out on Sneakerfiles

I saw a commercial for the kids sneaker and I just had to make a post on it. A sneaker with balls on the bottom? lol I though it was going to be something like the popular Heelys and you would slide your way down the road with them. then I thought with all those “wheels” you would just crash somewhere.
Luckily the balls are not actual wheels. Oh and if you are wondering why Brand Jordan keeps making those sneakers that are especially for the kids, its because between Heelly, LA Gear (LOL), and Stride Rite kid lines, they are generating allot of dough with these kiddy sneaks. Every other day I see a kid wearing something from these companies. No wonder Toys R Us most profitable section is Babies R Us.

Looks like Bape is calming down the colors a tad. Kids in Highschool and Intermediate school are crying at this very moment… nevertheless, those who are in the 25-90 crowd who would like to chillax in the cut with their grown ass man (or grown ass women) look will enjoy these sneakers.
I for one, liked Bapes (even with the incredible colors) but these are just my style. I am more for the calm colors (I’m mad that I bought the “Do The Right Things” cause I wanted to wear them but I have nothing in my wardrobe that matches and refuse to buy bright ass yellow to go with it) and it will go well with what i already have.
Too bad Jordan is taking all my money this year cause maybe I would have bough this. I am getting at least 2 AJ23′s, the 14.5, the 15 SE, Air Jordan Fusion Force 5 (and maybe I will get the 12′s too but I am not sure) and 2 of the Countdown Packs (16 + 7 and the 20 + 3… maybe the 17 + 6 too because of those Carmines). I also want to get the Back to School 2 Air Max 90, a Dunk, a Dunk low, a Air Force One, a pair of running sneakers, and those Rockports with the DMX cushioning.

Ok you guys, let me tell you this right now; I do not like the new design of the Lebron 5 (V). I am pretty sure it performs very well and is comfortable but it looks sort of lam-o. Nevertheless, this New York version (and the China Version too) looks really good. I guess when it comes to the design of this sneaker, it all depends on the material and colors used for the sneaker.
This New York Yankee sneaker really works well. Man, I wonder what people in Cleveland Ohio think about all this talk about New York. And I do wonder if the Nets do move to Brooklyn will Lebron come and join the team? 2011 is going to be a very interesting year.

Now the first shot is from Air Randy.com (how does he get this stuff first???) but the shot taken from sneakernews.com shows the sneaker in a different light I guess cause not only do they look better, but they actually look like the best colorway out for the Fusion 12.
The colorway has been released at Air Jordan Flight Club. If the sneaker looks more like the second shot then these sneaks are really worth it.

Not bad! Not bad at all. I have to say that I like it. The color is good (except for that teal green strap looking thing), the baby phat cat is in the right place, and the all over print at the ankle just ankles this look real edible. Plus I like the gum looking soul of the sneak.
I wonder if that purple lace is what the sneaker comes with or not… oh and yes, this is for the ladies if you couldn’t tell. Dr. Jays has different views of the sneaker so take a look. They also have those related items… they actually are related. I love those jeans and that jacket is a good look. (Get the shirt too… and the shoes… yeah I know you are already getting the sneakers lol) I love Baby Phat jeans. there is something about the cat on the back of a woman’s butt that just turns me on.
Long live Baby Phat! Another color is available too if you like (I think its sort of wack… but I’m not a girl so…)

Gourmet maybe be trying to get sued out of existence… but before that happens they are making some really cool sneakers.
I thing one thing is very true: if Jordan did this, it would be wack as hell. Ok, maybe not wack as hell, but it would most likely be looked at as wack. Jordan would have to ease us into the idea that he can make this type of sneaker.
I have been into earth tones and greys for a while now so for me the best looking one out of all of these are these pictured above. I can see the other shots pictures on The Shoe Game being popular but this looks the best to me.
Now as for whether or not they can actually make a sneaker that look so similar to Jordan… I say maybe. if Gourmet can prove that no one would seriously look at these sneakers as Air Jordans then it may be ok. Butthen again the design is so simular to AJ’s that they could sue… I don’t think Jordan would win though but… you know what I am going to research this one and get back to you.
I still want a pair though for the summer. Real cool.

I am way late on this cause their have been announcements/blog posts on at least 3 of the countdown packs. I know I saw how much they will cost but I don’t see it now. I believe it was in the 300 range will be 310.
This is a must get for sneaker freaks but I’ll pass. I do not like the 10′s and as much as I like the 13, I am just not willing to spend 300 pus or minus for just one sneaker. If that darn number 23 wasn’t on the shadow 10′s then maybe I would consider buying it.
The box is real hot though. This is supposed to come out in January 19, 2008.

Well the women who come to the site have told me that this is one of those hot boots from NIKE. I am beginning to see what they like in them. I can see this working well with many outfits I have been looking at to feature for my Fashion Fix 08 Christmas Edition (lol Christmas Edition??? Who comes up with this stuff???)
I am not sure about the other colors in this style. Black/Cerise/Myth is just too plain. The black is not dark enough and the red is not red enough. I just do not know where they Cerise is in this boot but I’ll bet its not Cerise enough.
The White/Ice blue/Silver is sort of in between when it comes to looks. For those who actually have winter with snow, these boots got the best look. They don’t have as much style as the ones pictured above, but they have that cool look and the colors work well with the fabrics that they use.
All boots are on sale at 60 USD and all of them have shearling lining with suede and leather (from the product description off of Finishline). I guess that should keep you warm.

LADIES AND gentlemen, Jordan is back at it again! This time I think they got it right Other than the 9.5‘s, these are the hottest when it comes to the .5 series of sneakers they have come out with over the years.
First look at the 14.5 was here…. I didn’t believe it. It looked like something that they were thinking about but probably are not really going to do…
But now, I am starting to believe that this may actually happen. The Air Jordan 14.5 is a combonation between the Air Jordan 14 and Air Jordan 15; The Air Jordan 15, clearly the ugliest sneaker in the whole line of Air Jordan’s, finds a way to look good by having sneaker sex with one of the hottest looking sneaker in the Air jordan line: Air Jordan 14. Notice that the sneaker mostly look like the 14 and not the 15. Also notice that the Air Jordan 15 tongue is included… a feature that many did not like on the original 15 but I have to say that it really works on this sneaker (let it be known that I actually liked the tongue… it was the rest of the sneaker that I didn’t like).
Some people think that the Air Jordan 14 was a mediocre sneaker… WHAT ARE YOU BLIND??? Air Jordan 14 is one of the hottest sneakers of all time and definitely of the Air Jordan line of 23 sneakers. If Air Jordan Brand continues making these fusion sneakers and includes the Air Jordan 14 as one of the elements, I think it will be hot regardless of what it is matched up with.
Ok… ok, yes these are samples and as you may know samples don’t have to look like the finished product. Lets just hope that this actually looks like what it looked like as a finish product. I don’t know what the other sides look like but this side look (drawing by a member on the Kenlu Forum) gives me hope that the rest of the sneaker will look ok.
Apparently Jordan Brand loves its fusion technique. I can imagine Goku and Vegeta being very mad at Micheal Jordan for all of this.

Do you remember the original Huarache sneaker from Nike (not the real original of which comes from Mexico)? Well anyway, Nike decided to do a fusion of the Air Huarache with the popular ACG Mowabb. The results can be seen on Sneakerfiles.
I think it looks pretty good. I loved, just loved the ACG Mowabbs. I got the purple and browns (that was when I was very into purple) and they not only looked good, but they were comfortable. One thing though (unless I was totally scammed), I thought the Mowabb’s had Air since it said Nike Air on the back… turned out that they didn’t. How did I know? I sawed my sneakers in half.
Anyway, I am loving this idea. I don’t think I will get them because I never really liked the original Huarache (although they were very popular when they came out in 1992), but I can admit that they do loook very nice. I think these will be a good look for someone who wants them. Sneakerfiles says that they are available at Purchaze and gives plenty of links.

I tried to follow up on when these and the other Sir Charles and Air Force Ones are coming out but I just forgot. I believe these came out already. I have not seen them in regular stores so it probably a limited release.
Well, there are a few more coming out for the rest of the year. They look cool but they just don’t get as good as this one right here. (Well… maybe the Air Force 1 Low SPRM MCO CB coming out in Dec 22… very grown AND sexy.)
