Air Jordan 23 “Chicago Bulls”

(doesn’t it remind you of Christmas?)

pikachu – Custom Dunks by Daniel Reese

(yes I admit I watched the damn show for years lol)

Man, this guy does the FRESHEST sneakers (but that exchange rate is killing me right now lol). He did this a while back, but I just have to represent for all my Pikachu’s out there. you know who you are!

Air Jordan Doernbecher VI… love the details

(love the details on this sneaker)

No reason for posting this, I just love the details. And yes if you must know its a size 18 sneaker and it is available right this second on NikeStore

Diggin’ In The Sneaker Crates: Air Jordan Spizike “Kings County”

(ahhh yes the Kings County Spizike… do YOU have this?)

Lets face it, the colorway for this particular Spiz’ike is off the spizzy (and not nesicarily in a good way). It can work for those with the gift to put together outfits and such, but at the end of the day the colorway was a so-so look.

Pics via Nicekicks.com

But then you put Brooklyn aka Kings County on it and now you cooking with non-dehydrogenated oil… yes I sad it.

I forget just why these were so controversial when the first pictures came on the scene, but if you wanted a sneaker that matches a card in the deck, you were happy to get these. I think these are collectibles MOSTLY because they represent Spike, Jordan and Brooklyn (home of Do The Right Thing and if I am not mistaken home of Spike Lee AND Micheal Jordan… but hey I could be wrong)

Lebron Gives A Nod To Jordan – LeBron VII Cool Grey

(I can get behind this)

Why do this? Why the hell not? And it looks really good. This is most likely a collectible. In fact I would say it’s no question that this is a collectible.

I do hope though that it doesn’t show up every time there is a new release of this signature sneaker, but I can get with it if they decide to do it that way (I just won’t like it lol).

More info on Sneakernews… and who is this Kinstor guy? Kinstor is making waves on the sneakernets with these pics much like another guy did a couple of years back (look at the name on the pic in the link). Hope it doesn’t end badly… just like that other guy a couple of years back.

Pepsi x Gourmet UNO = Soda For Your Feet

(now look who doing a collabo…)

Pepsi has made the decision to make your feet have a drink… or at least look like it approaves of you allowing your feet to drink… ok, something like that.

The point is that this makes a very interesting collaberation. I think Pepsi made a nice choice here joining up with Gourmet… and does that sneaker look like any other sneaker you have seen before? maybe a fusion of a pair of Converses and a particular Air Jordan?

Interesting… anyway, good look for Pespi. Look forward to some more collabos from non-traditional places like pespi in 2010

Hey what’s this? Nike Air Max 97 and Kobe Mamba Fusion?

(looks interesting)

Copper Penny… SneakGeekz done it again

(I love the concept… not sure about the look)

That copper Penny foamposite is going to be one hot ass sneaker when it releases. I expect khaki sales to run a muck when these come out… I mean what else will go with them? Expect some famous person to wear them try to teach people how to do it (or how not to do it… depending on the outfit).

Whatever… these are collectibles for sure. Maybe you can frame them when your not wearing them (by the way, did I tell you guys that I am going to make a frame for my Air Yeezy’s I won from Nicekicks?)

Thanks to Sneak Geeks.comfor the video

Super Sale: Guess What’s On Sale? Air Force 1 Mid “barkley pack”

air force 1 mid barkley pack

(I remember a time when I wanted this sneaker SOOO bad)

If i am not mistaken, when this sneaker originally came out it cost somewher north of 150 bucks. One thing is for sure, it didn’t cost $65 dollars. Keep in mind that I never shopped at Lacelocked before but from what I hear from other sneaker blogs, its an ok place to buy stuff  from and they are not fakes.

Again, I never bought anything from them as of yet, but if you want to give them a try, then take a shot. I wouldn’t mention LaceLocked if they didn’t show up on other accredited sneaker  blogs.

I will say thing about buying sneakers (or shoes) online from places that you may not have heard of before you because a sneaker (or shoe) collector, when I shop at these places to test them out, I use a special card just for those places. if everything is on the up and up, them maybe I will use my regular card 9or my main PayPal account).

In Interesting Shop To Buy Shoes Classic Kicks

An interesting way to shop Classic kicks

(I wish I could remember how I came across this site lol)

Never bought anything from there, but it sure look s cool… and I don’t like shopping on flash sites (right Nike??? lol) but this site does it very well. They also have a blog that has some interesting stuff on it that I have to feature one of these days.

Classic kicks

(see anything you like?)

I may shop there for some classics one day.

Nike HyperMax Cancelled…. and the sneakernets go crazy

McFly Hypermax

(I say cancel it cause it looks off)

I can’t say that I agree with many of the people on the internet with the cancellation. I think the HyperMax Mcfly look aweful. Its looks odd, the colors seem to make a sneaker that originally looks good, actually looks bad in this scheme and… I just don’t know. It just looks wrong to me.

McFly Hypermax being worn

(cancelled because of the materials on the sneaker possibly?)

Nike Hypermax McFly glow in the dark sole

(at least they glow in the dark on the sole)

But I guess I am the only one who thinks so because they are going bananas over on Nicekicks about the cancellation of this sneaker.

On Nicekicks: Marty McFly Hyperdunk GLOW IN THE DARK

(does they Hypermax really look better than the Hyperdunk?)

People just love this colorway. I love it too, but not on the Hypermax. I think it works better on the Hyperize though.

So call me crazy (or whatever your thinking right now about me lol) but I think I know why they cancelled it… cause it looks ugly.

Nike Hypermax Tennis Ball

One thing I do want to come out is those Tennis Ball Hypermax’s. No reason to cancel that, just keep it limited and I will be happy  (that is if I can get them)

Wow… $460 Bucks For The Air Jordan 11 SPACE JAM

Air Jordan 11 Space Jams Available Early at SupremexClientele

(that’s a whole lot of dough… talk about braking bread)

And I quote from Nicekicks.com:

The shoes will be $175 when they release later this year, but if you want to get them early, eBay seller SUPREMExCLIENTELE is offering them with Buy It Now’s for $460…about $300 more than the sticker price.

Is $460 too much to, not only get yours first, but to ensure you get them at all? There were some complaints about the price and it being so far above the original $175 (which is also higher than the original cost of the AJ11′s) but I would conclude that this is one special sneaker release and people want the early beat on these sneakers.

And school is starting soon too

And in NYC you have the Labor Day parade and all the parties the few days before the parade. That’s a whole lot of showing off your swagger (gawd I hate that word).

I wish/hope that Brand Jordan makes sure that there are enough AJ11′s to buy even though it is a limited release. I had no problem getting the “quickstrike” and “limited” of a few Jordans (which made me wonder if quickstrike and limited means the same thing anymore), but I just hope that when they say limited for the AJ11, what it really means is “hurry up and get to the store but you don’t have to stand online”.

What If? Sample Concept of Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low – Yellow Lobster

Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low - Yellow Lobster Sample

(AWESOME… ok I really have to stop saying that…)

Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low - Yellow Lobster

(could this possibly be the next Concept Lobster catch?)

Relax everybody. Don’t start planning on how you are going to stand on line for a pair of yellow sneakers (lol at the color choice but its still a hot sneaker). This is strictly a sample that was given to friends and family of Nike SB (according to Sneaker news.com) and there are only so many pairs of it made.

34 pairs to be precise.

LeBron VII Mania Sweeps The Sneaker Web – More Than A Game

More Than A Game World Tour

(wow… this may be the best LeBron ever to come out)

I am waiting to see what’s next and what people are saying about it… so I am gonna let things cool off for a minute before writing the wrap up. I have to say though, they really giving this sneaker a hollywood debut, that’s for sure. So far most of the colorways shown online look pretty good. Stay tunes tomorrow for a wrap up of the Lebron VII with all videos and colorways(so far)  and OF COURSE what people are saying… and not saying… about the sneaker.

Until then!!!!

Cipher Does Sneaker Freaker… and what a spread

Cipher LookBook on Sneaker Freaker

(I have to say this is really nice)

Check out the lookbook (I guess you can call it a lookbook) and read the interview that Sneaker Freaker had with  Cipher. Here is a clip:

Sneaker Freaker: Hey Collin, you restarted Cipher last year, how did the year work for you?

Cipher:
It was a shaky start, got rough through the middle, but I’m happy to say it closed out well. I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished and how we’ve grown as people and as a company. We’re planning some really creative projects and products for 2009.

Sneaker Freaker: Your brand Cipher has been around since 2003.

Cipher:
I’ve been bugging Woody for years now, I remember when we were discussing SF8 and getting Cipher in there, but we were really small then! Well it really started after I finished film school, I really loved Wong Kar Wai films, and always wanted to come out to Hong Kong, so I did, and I just kind of fell into this. It was a little difficult for me to imagine ever directing or producing a feature length film, as I wanted to do something more immediate and still creative. My brother had a tee and hoodie thing going on, and I wanted to get in on it but do something different. I noticed a lot of skate kids with the most busted sneakers so I was like, ‘I’ll design some sneakers.’

If this is what they are going to make, I think Cipher has some promise for the future. These sneakers look good and are colored very nice. Definaitly a sneaker you should want to collect. As seen on Sneaker Freaker.

I Love ACG and Sneaker Freaker Did A Special On It

ACG Sneaker Freaker Special

(I love me some ACG’s… ok, ok, not all of them lol)

Sneaker Freaker has a special on ACG, where the idea come from, and other such info that I am sure ACG fans would want to know.

I bought 2 Air Mowabbs myself (different colorways and yes I got the purple and dark brown one) and I have plenty of those Nike ACG boots.

Here is a quote from part one:

For gear that was designed solely for the outdoors, you’d think ACG would look suspiciously antisocial in the urban environment, but that’s never been the case. The consistent hallmark of all Nike shoe design is performance, but they also generally look good in any application and ACG just might be the pinnacle of this dual achievement. Lightweight sneakers for the outdoors that are versatile has been the ethos, but there is no doubting the freedom the designers have had to push the limit.

And now one from part two:

Sneaker Freaker: When an anniversary’s on there’s a tendency to bring out all the retro hits… it seems like you’re going to resist that temptation?

Stewart Horner:
We have resisted it as much as possible and tried to not do the obvious. ACG has always been about breaking away from the norm a little bit. Even in our own world we try and do things a
little bit differently to the bigger Nike brand. There will be some NSW releases of ACG, particularly the Magma and we are using the Mowabb for example, but more from a colour perspective. Overall though, you can still definitely see the vintage flavour in the new stuff.

Its a must read. And you have to see some of the kicks that they came up with. That flywire boot is no joke.

SneakGeekZ Got A New Video: Nike SC Trainer Bo Jackson OG Colorway

(and it has a little hybrid Penny action in their too)

Sneaker Freaker Looks At Chris Aylen’s Vintage Sneaker Collection

Sneaker-Freaker - Chris Aylen Sneaker Collection

(I love me some Air Max Tn!!!)

I loved these sneakers (although I just couldn’t bring myself to liking the mens colorways… now the womens colorways were SUPER HAWT) and when they made a hybrid of this sneaker and the Air Max 360, I supported the move mostly because anything with a Air Max Tn upper is going to turn heads (at least in women colorways).

But he has got more than just Air Max Tn’s in his collection.

Sneaker-Freaker - Chris Aylen Sneaker Collection 01

(wild look, but still smooth… even in orange)

Sneaker-Freaker - Chris Aylen Sneaker Collection 02

(got to look at the slides for more)

This is a very nice collection. I would seem that Chris is very into those Air Max Tn’s (one of my friends called them Tn’s for short… and she totally LOVED her pair to death).

There are 2 things I have to say to all collectors whether its sneakers or shoes or both, get what you like and love them.

The other thing is that I hope people expand to other brands as well to collect. Get some shoes in there! Get some sneakers other than Nike and Jordan. All I ask is give them a try.

adidas SLVR Collection is pretty interesting

adidas SLVR Collection for women

(do you think you can work this look?)

This is an interesting looking sneaker/shoe/high heel for the ladies. Its sort of a big mix of all 3 and I am not sure if it does it well (probably need to see it in person), but it sure is a looker and you WILL get attention to your feet wearing them; no question. I think the lady wearing these will do well to get something to match for sure. This is one high heeled sneaker that DEMANDS you to dress for them and not the otherway around.

Here is a quote from Sneaker Freaker about this sneaker and the collection:

Launched early this year with a tagline boast of being ‘Simply Perfect’, this new range from adidas is a cocky start to a whole new ballgame. Whilst SLVR appears to be a high fashion concept, adidas PR describes it as ‘affordable, attainable and ultimately wearable’ which, given prices for the footwear are all under €130, seems fair enough. Perhaps the most interesting SLVR footwear innovation is what the shoes don’t have. Like the deadpan Stan Smiths of yesteryear, the range has no adidas branding, no trefoil and zero stripes. The only indication of a maker’s mark are three horizontal bars. There’s also tote bags, socks and a line of classically basic clothing that
has a slight sport tinge to it, and even SLVR flip flops.

Tote bags, flip flops, low cost aka affordable (well lower cost than high end 200+ dollar sneakers) and only those in the know will actually know your footwear is from adidas.

More Packs To Drain Your Wallet!!! – Air Jordan 2009 – Hall of Fame Pack

Air Jordan 2009 Hall of Fame Pack

(^^^dude… what the hell^^^)

Air Jordan Six (6) Rings Hall of Fame

(^^^ a little better, but not by much^^^)

AJ1 HOF

(^^^AJ 1 looks… interesting^^^)

Okay… ummmmm… I love the idea for this project. The pack currently consists of 4 sneakers – the AJ1,  AJ 3, AJ 2009, and the Six Rings.

It is sort of obvious why those particular sneakers were chosen. The Six Rings is more obvious, as well as the AJ 1 (first Air Jordan), and the AJ III (if you know some of the Jordan history, you will know that the AJ III almost didn’t happen). But the AJ 2009 seems a little bit of an odd pick. Other than being the last Air Jordan made, I don’t find the connection to the Hall of Fame very light ESPECIALLY since the last Air Jordan doesn’t carry a number after it, it carries the year it came out.

That ends the good news about this pack.

And now the bad news: (more…)

Old Bo Knows VS New Bo Knows

Nike Air Trainer SC Black/Grey Holiday 09

(^^^ one cool looking old school Air Trainer ^^^)

Nike Trainer SC 2010

(^^^ one cool looking update on a classic ^^^)

The new version looks very nice. Not too sure about the air bag at the end but you can’t get everything you want. Overall it is very well done. Don’t know the tech behind the new sneaker other than it is using Fly-Wire technology and it has air. The patent leather add-on makes it sound like this is more for play than for training but I am sure that won’t stop people who want to look great while working out from wearing them.

On Sale: Christian Louboutin Robot 120 Ankle Boots

Christian Louboutin Robot 120 ankle boots

Price of Admission: $1,295

(a nice look for the ladies, right guys?)

Oh man, I have been so slacking in posts. Trying to work out school life, my new schedule, taking a break from school and how it will effect my finish time… but anyway, you aint come here to read all of that, you came to see sneakers and shoes (and other related items). Well, I have been ignoring the ladies in the shoe department for a while now, so here you go.

And guys are complaining about Kayne West Lious V sneakers??? Ladies, tell us guys what prices you pay for footwear LOL What’s even funnier is that I don’t see these shoe makers tell you ANYTHING about some technology that went into the shoe to make them comfortable. Just because women have a higher tolerance for pain doesn’t mean they don’t want “Zoom Air” in there 6″ high heels.

But hey… that’s they way things are I guess. For now. First seen on Roc4Life (they got a social website now too??? can’t stop the social movement I guess lol)
