As I just tweeted a couple of hours ago, I just picked up a pair of Kobe V’s at FootAction and will be picking them up somewhere between Monday and Wednesday.
Which ones did I get? These RIGHT HERE (for some reason that I can’t possibly think of… Eastbay gave this sneaker colorway more attention and pics than the others)
Anyway, I look forward to making these custom Nike iD joints… they look pretty good. But I’m telling yall, if the ones I got to play ball in don’t do to well… I ain’t spending 130+ bucks for a custom one LOL

I think it would be VERY nice of Brand Jordan to come up with these colorways. The white and grey with black is the vest but I wouldn’t mind that all white with just some hints of columbia blue… hmmmmm. mouth watering.
Can you imagine actually playing ball in these?

Its not the best looking kick, nor is it the most popular, but it has something… not sure what. It just belongs on your feet for some reason. I would definitely ball in these, that’s for sure. Get more info HERE about them.

This sneaker may bring back memories (it doesn’t for me) for some of those who watched the game of basketball back in the day. According to the magazine this pic was scanned out of Kicks Magazine, these were worn by non other than Tim Hardaway.
You know what I wonder? I wonder if these “fingers” actually worked. They look like they should but I don’t know… anyway, I like the white and grey one the most (in the upper left).
Can’t see them retro’ing these pair though but what I can imagine is that they make some sort of Tim Hardaway “Air-Max-Allot” hybrid or fusion. If they do that I can’t imagine how the “fingers” will fit into the hybrid though but they would just HAVE to be in there

Its not my favorite colorway on these sneakers but they still look pretty darn good so I can’t complain (like I usually do) too much.

I thought these guys were joking when they said they wanted in on the basketball areana. I really thought they would come up with some lame-o looking sneaker that may work but that’s it. Well, if this is what its gonna look like, you better beieve they will be on my feet THIS year. I already saw someone wearing a pair of these )not this style) when I was coming off the train.
Let me tell you, they look better in real life, and that is saying something considering that they look good now.

Brand Jordan has a hit on their hands and they know it. The air Jordan 16.5 looks like something any basketball player (or casual wearer for walking around in the streets) can get with. And talk about colorways. The whole team on the floor can wear different colorways and still have a couple left over. I think there are 7 different colorways so far.

On Sale: Air Jordan 2009 Men’s Basketball Shoe

You will never guess what is on sale at NikeStore.com??? Ok, you got me. Its the Air Jordan 2009 Men’s Basketball Sneaker. Its not only still on sale, but the price has been almost cut in half. Many on the sneakernets (including myself) put down these kicks. As it stand right now with me, the main reason why I am still upset is because the colorway I would LOVE to see was not released (probably wasn’t even in the cards… only BP of NikeTalk gave me hope)
Make no mistake though, the sneaker is top tech all the way. I have been in sneaker hibernation for the year so far. It was looking like it would stay that way unless something I really wanted came down the pike (like those re-re-release of the Eggplant Foams coming in March for $200) but I may get these. Can’t hurt at $110 bucks

Hybrids are in. Retros are in. Fusions are in. Even hybrid retro fusions are in. But these thing takes the cake. Receiving lots of bad comments are the least of Nike’s worries with these. There factory exploding from the mere presence of these.

Save A Sneaker: Air Jordan XV SE

A sneaker or shoe can be saved (most of the time) by a change in how the colorway is done. Here is another example of what could have made a sneaker come from just being something that you get because you couldn’t get something else Vs. actually wanting the product. Here BP shows us what could have been with the Air Jordan XV SE. The SE has a few great points with it that I liked (especially technology wise), but the colorways was a no go for most of them.
Would you get these if they came in this colorway?
A Colorway That May Just Work – Air Jordan 2010 in Black – University Blue
(I think we found a AJ2010 colorway that works people)
Those Air Jordan 2010′s didn’t get a great reception from the sneakernets (just take a look at Sneakernews and Nicekicks comments to start) but it is very possible that the 2010′s just needed a colorway that works.
Hell, even the see-through circle don’t bother me anymore.
Clear soles, patent leather (patent leather seems to be a favorite for Brand Jordan), and interesting details and a good colorway I think saves this sneaker from almost certain sneaker death.
Now if we can get this in a black-red colorway and a white-red (traditional MJ colorways as a Bull) I think we will have a see-through winner.
