Ok… many sneaker blogs find this sneaker hot (get it? Bakin… hot?) but I just don’t get it. Comments on this sneaker from sites like Sneaker Files.com and Nice Kicks go on and on about how fly they are. But I just don’t like them.

I guess you can consider this girly. I know I haven’t seen any guys rocking these. At any rate, these are some pretty nice looking sneaks.

The normal description for mid-premium range sneakers. If I had a girl (yeah ladies, I am single, hit me up (718) 555…. you know the rest) I think I would get her these. Now the question is would she wear them at all.
Why do I say that? Well because it seems the look of the sneaker appeals to guys, ut its made for women and designed with a feminine touch (just look at the Air Jordan XII and then look at these… everything is ‘softer’). So it kinda is between both worlds inseat of being more into one or the other.
But that’s my opinion. I still think its a good looking sneak. I am glad SOMEBODY is making some cool looking stuff in sneaker form for women without doing a re-badging of a male sneaker by just changing its colors (you know, the car world and the sneaker world have ALLOT in common).

To me, these have to be the wildest pair of the retro bunch that is Air Jordan 11 Low. On Nice Kicks, they say that it is a lifestyle release so that means that there will be matching clothes for the sneaker.
With that little bit of info, I went on a search (a small limited search mind you… I’m sure there is more stuff out there) for Jordan Lifestyle clothes that match this funky style. Here is what I found.

What is this? I personally wasn’t too sure about New Balance getting into the whole “customized sneaker” look (even though I really like the fact that they have width sizes) but this “Toothpaste” pack is really awesome (yes I used the word awesome).
I haven’t had a pair of New Balance’s since I bought my whole family matching pairs almost 7 years back (I forget which ones… if I remember, I’ll edit the post and show a link) . Why did I mention that? Because I am SOOO getting these. Yes, yes, I know. I am always talking about my sneaker budget and how I need to stay on track to get the Back to School Pack and the Kings County (or DTRT… I can’t get both anymore 
) and save up for the Air Jordan XX3′s.
But these are sooooo freaking cool! Solebox you guys sooooo rock right now for joining up with New Balance to make these!
While I don’t care for the other pair too much, I think the “cool mint” version is the best.
How much will they cost? Well, they are supposed to be hand made… in Europe. So while I say I am so getting them, I just may not be able to afford hand made sneakers at this point and time.

Not sure if this is the real thing or not cause how exactly do you un-crease (decrease) a pair of sneaker or shoes when the crease usually comes from age and/or how the toe box is designed (and material… can’t forget that)?
How did I find such an item, I saw it while surfing Nice Kicks.com. I saw the ad and I was like… what the… so I clicked it (someone got paid today LOL) and low and BEHOLD! If this works, then its one of the best buys you can get. Why? Cause I know somebody out there is going to wear that collectible sneaker and after a night of partying and walking/dancing different so you wouldn’t bend them too much, you need to get them back to normal.
Well, if anyone ends up getting them, give a shout. They are 10 bucks each (at least what I saw).

Well, it would seem that new Balance is really kicking it (get it? lol) into high gear with the high fashion super-colored and custom-made-with-collaboration kicks. Here they create something with a team of artistst hand craft (?? really ??) a few pair of sneakers. How many artist? 33. Hence the name Super Team 33.
So what is Fanzine about? When do they release? What is the theme? Are there any regular pictures?

My opinion of this is that its a great idea… but I don’t know about the look. I think New balance is moving it on up when it comes to casual fashion sneakers. I just hope that they still cater to those who have big feet and wide feet much like many other sneaker brands do not.
I’ll say it again: I hope they will continue to cater to people who have big and wide feet and not do what other companies do when it comes to people who have large feet, which is say to them, “Tough luck sucker!”

I should have posted this a long time ago… well almost 2 weeks ago. Well by now this has sold out. It went on sale on 07/07/07 a couple of weeks back. I can’t say the are the best looking sneakers, but they do have a nice fit and finish to it. It works. Only 60 pairs worldwide and its at 100 dollar each (pretty low for only 60 pairs). It also has some historical value too. Read the sites article on it for more.
You will be lucky if you get them.
Oh and just in case you wanted to know what people thought of this:

Nike Suspends the Michael Vick V Sneaker from Sneaker Files
Well… with all the stuff that is going on in sports today, and sadly with Football (my favorite sport to watch), people are getting themselves in some aweful trouble.
Now I aint gonna convict the guy cause I have no clue what really happened. I think the real problem is that with everything else that has happened in sports lately (and if your gonna through race in there, its seems to be all races) from drug use to being involved in crimes and shootouts, you almost automatically assume that the guy must have done it.
People on Sneakerfiles.com seem to be 50/50 on Mr. Vick. As for his sneakers, they are being held due to the drama that is unfolding. They are supposed to release August 23, but we will see.
I personally don’t know what happened, but as far as the sneakers are concerned… they are not that great. A couple of people on Sneakerfiles.com agree from what I read in the comments.

No the probably wouldn’t because according to this CNBC article, NIKE will only loose 1.5 million if they don’t let the sneaks out. Plus, they sell more cleat versions of this sneaker than the turf version so they don’t loose much. So if it was Kobe or MJ, they would have probably waited a little longer for the final results. Then again, they probably would have waited for Kobe, but MJ is like a whole separate NIKE brand now… that is allot of inventory right there.
