If you have a team color you will most likely find something you will like (and will match) in the League Pack. Now the question is would you (or better yet, the whole team) fork out 200 beans for the new age Air Force? Don’t get me wrong, I am soooooo waiting for a more affordable Air Force one with the new tech, but the price is killin me. I wanted the Charles Barkleys (the freshest sneaker of 2008… hmmm you know what, Im gonna make a list of the freshest sneakers and shoes for 08!!!) so badly but just could not afford the cost at the time. I love how they treat the sole and mid-sole.

First of all, what they hell is the color stealth? I keep seeing it and I assumed it was some off gre and silver like color, but if these sneaker include the color stealth, then I will just have to give up on what the color actually is…
Along with zest LOL cause MJ used that color name allot too.
Anyway, back the the sneaker. I like the colors SEPARATELY not together. I am totally in love with the clear gum sole. that right there is the best feature of the sneaker.
On Sneakerfiles, there is a love hate thing going on in the comment section of the AJ Fusion LS post. some can’t wait to rock them while others are trying to figure out who barfed this colorway up.
I have already passed judgment on them that they are ugly (and since this is obviously a fashion sneaker why is it so hard to match to?) BUT I might change my mind if I see them in person. I have already seen the christmas ones aka african flag in a different light when I originally panned the sneaker as bad so maybe this sneaker will look good in person too.
So what do you think? Is it a must have? Will it be great for the summer? or is it the worst fusion 12 colorway to come out?

Levis x Air Jordan 1 Collaboration Pack

Air Jordan is getting into the collaberation game much like other visionaties in the sneaker world. They teamed up with Levis (for what reason I do not know… could have been Phat Farm) to create what I really think is a super collecable.
Much like my opinion on the Titanium XX3 Air Jordan’s (not made to be worn but to be collected… and yes you can wear it too), these are to be presurved and stashed away for that special moment. I am sure some celeb will be wearing this somewhere “just chillin” but be sure in the knowledge that they have another set on ice in the master closet.

Clear Converse Sneakers… was at Journeys but is gone now.
It USED to be at Journeys but I guess they sold out cause I can’t find them.
I am not too into the clear see-throughs look mostly because I do not see me looking through my sneakers and looking at my feet/toes or socks.
BUT these are different. I don’t know why for sure but they are. Maybe its their low profile or something. Somehow these sneakers has a new edge appeal… a sort of East Village – slash – Williamsburg look. And with solid color socks these things really rock.
The comments on the sneaker on the site were mostly positive except for one or 2 stating that the sneakerwas pretty hot (hot as in uncomfortable as in “my feet are boiling in these sneakers”).
I forgot how much they wanted to charge for it (I actually took a look at the Journeys page a couple of weeks ago), but I am sure they cost more at eBay.

This colorway just came out. How do I know that? because I was on Finishline no more than a hour and half ago (or less) and this was not there. I am sure some people will think its a little dull. It isn’t the best colorway, but it is still a hot sneaker look. Its like some sort of chocolate with gold.
The official color is black, gold and crimson. No chocolate and no zest color either.
Finishline has 2 other colors available. I am not sure if the sneaker pictured above is exclusive to Finishline but its the first place I saw it. If you want more color choices, then go to Eastbay. They got more colors… but not all of them. Finishline seems to have control over the white gold as well as the black gold.
Also, I have to say that the 3 on Finishline is more adult like while the ones on Eastbay or more teenage aggressive, “look at me now” colors. Nothing wrong with that, its just about what you want.

There are allot of sneaker fan sites out thereon the net. Plenty to get news from what is coming out to what is out now. So far out of all the sites I have visited I have yet to find anything bad to say about the Air Jordan XX2. I’ll admit it is a very comfortable sneaker. While I never played in it, I can only guess that it works well on the court too.
So then: why is no one buying them? (at least in NYC anyway)
All spring and summer long I have been all over the city… literally all over and I have only seen the sneaker 4 times. Only one of those times was on a person between the age of 16 – 32. Is it the cost that made it not salable? People bought the expensive Spiz’ikes and other Jordan and Nike products. Even sneaker that don’t have such name recognition as Nike sold out. Could it be that right now its so about retro that no one really wanted to touch the sneaker?
I see it more in NYC now due to the fact that its on sale at most stores and even online. I might even get myself another pair (I like them… but the colorways are like… what happened? The black and red ones are usually the best but this time it is just not looking to fabulous).
The version pictured above is the low top version. It actually looks pretty good. Why didn’t the black high top look like this (with or without the patent leather) is beyond me. The location of the red and the patent leather around the back would have been perfect.
The low top still has the replaceable air and zoom unit in the back and also still has the IPS support.
There are other colors available such as the white ones. Give it a look if you have the time.

Six years ago today, Aaliyah Dana Haughton, Anthony Dodd, Eric Foreman, Scott Gallin, Keeth Wallace, Gina Smith, Douglas Kratz, Christopher Maldonado, and Luis Morales died tragically in a plane crash.

They are Spiz’ikes, they are representing Brooklyn, the whole 40 Acres and a Mule idea was born in Brooklyn, Do the Right Thing was set (and I think made… not sure) in Brooklyn, both Spike Lee and Micheal Jordan were born in Brooklyn, these are the most detailed Spizikes out of the whole group… I can’t think of anything else at the moment.

This is nice. I really can’t tell what sneaker he is wearing from the pictures on the site, but since they said its from 1993 dunk contest, I’m gonna guess it was the Air Jordan VII. I REALLY have no idea which colorway it is other than the fact that the color white is in it LOL. I doubt that these ar Air Jordan VIII because the new style usually don’t come out until the end of the year/season. So the VII would have been worn for most of 1993 until at least the 1994 playoffs.
Well that’s my opinion. Anybody think otherwise (or actually bought this thing and can see what he is wearing up close and personal) , please feel free to post something.

I saw this on a few sneaker sites, including Sneakerfiles (release date Fall/Holiday season 2007). The only reason why I am posting a link to this sneaker shoe store is because a couple of sites posted links to it. I have no idea if its a place to trust or not.
Me personally, I would wait until it comes out in a regular store like Finishline or Eastbay. I guess there are some other places that seem to garner the sneaker communities trust, but I have to invesigate them first.
At any rate, these sneakers are bangin!!! I did not like them when they first came out many many moons ago AND I didn’t understand why so many people did like it. Looking back, i see that these sneakers seem to actually have a real style to them. Especially the Godzilla look. It really carries through in the design of the sneaker. I can’t deny that they are designed well.
It still not me though… not with my size 12 foot (13 in some sneakers or causal footwear depending on the cut). . Nevertheless, I figure that if you didn’t know about it, well now you know about it. The story came out in March of this year so its late news, but hey, its news to me.

A user asked me on another blog post way back in July about what sneakers is she wearing in this video. Well, I can’t tell which style name it is, but the brand name is Converse.. or maybe Keds… probably Keds since its a Rocawear thing.
Going on the hunch that the Roc is behind this (even though they really look like Converses), I look on Rocawear’s site for current stuff (yes the video is mad old). Nope. Rocawear only showing ProKeds Roc style not the canvas ones.
Went to ProKeds site (totally taken over by Hip Hop with background music by Dame Dash? LOL) . I went to the vintage are (womens first and then men) and no.
Since it can’t be Pro Keds, I am CONVINCED that it must have been Converse. That helps a little cause I can look at the hard to find womens sneakers on Zappos andConverse’s website and I think I see the color…

Looks like the back to school sales are in full swing. Anyway, there are 2 versions of the low tops. and I have to say that both styles are very nice. So if you want, you could spend a 100 and get both the high (ugly) and the low top (nice). Don’t let me influence you. Either way you get a really good sneaker ESPECIALLY if you plan on actually wearing them to play in. My advise (that I don’t want you to be influenced by) is get the high tops if you plan to really use them as intended. The low tops are for casual anyway, but they can be used for training. I wouldn’t to too much running in them, no more than1000m at any given time. Weights, on court training workouts stuff like that I would imagine.
So do your thing.
