Looks Like The Air Max 2009+ NFW Has Some New Colors

Just in time for winter… a very cold winter… we get 3 new colorways for the Air Max 2009+ using leather. I am glad that they came out with the all black one first because that pair can be easily worn to work and it won’t be a big deal because they are black (even though the sneaker in all black look all plain).
They can be all yours for 160 dollars a pair. I think I may have to get myself one because running/walking in 19 degree weather probably requires some leather protection. The white and red are still my favorites but that black silver and green is right behind it as a second favorite.

Crunchgear (part of TechCrunch) has a review up for the Vibram Five finger. I still plan on giving these a try one day. don’t be surprised that i come to a sneaker event wearing them. You know, just before they kick me out for wearing them lol

Diggin in The Sneaker Crates: Bushwacked!!! President Bush Gets The Shoe Thrown At Him
LMFAO This is the most HILARIOUS thing that could possibly happen to a sitting president. A guy those his shoes (I wonder what kind of shoe was it… will investigate) dead straight at Bush. At first I was like, “whoa this dude is crazy” and even whinced a little at the site of it, but once you know everything is ok… the laughs start. It’s like seeing somebody trip and fall but before you laugh you make sure the person is ok and isn’t seriously hurt. Once I realized Bush was ok (not that I voted or him or anything lol), that whole scene became pure comedy.

Diggin In The Sneaker Crates: Half Naked Goodness Has Hit The Net

Only on the internet can you have a debate like that. Remember when these pics came out? The comments on KicksOnFire and NiceKicks alone was crazy (and they weren’t the only sites that posted the pics). For me the model looks just fine, but I am guessing that the guys (and some women) wanted a model with more… something?
I think that maybe it was the clothes (or non-clothes) in the picture. Or maybe it was the angles the shot was taken. All I know is that the shots that suggested sex and womanhood did better than the half naked woman who is seemingly wearing sneakers.
I know one thing though… It would have been nice to see some women in this who had some more curves. Where my full figured women at?

That copper Penny foamposite is going to be one hot ass sneaker when it releases. I expect khaki sales to run a muck when these come out… I mean what else will go with them? Expect some famous person to wear them try to teach people how to do it (or how not to do it… depending on the outfit).
Whatever… these are collectibles for sure. Maybe you can frame them when your not wearing them (by the way, did I tell you guys that I am going to make a frame for my Air Yeezy’s I won from Nicekicks?)

Customized Desktop: Neon Green

I know I have been talking about desktop customization (skinning as it is called, for short) for more than a year now. I have been working, on my own no less, on a skin for the desktop that I think sneaker (and shoe) lovers will love.
For example, how about a skin that totally matches a BRED colorway OR a maybe match that Bespoke from _MAJOR_
Anyway, here is another desktop using a picture from the SneakerPimp’s Flickr group. Don’t know who put it up but thank you!
I am also using WindowBlinds for the taskbar, start panel and windows. The transparent clock with the CPU meter and RAM meter is SysMetrix. Yahoo Widgets are on the side including NY weather, and CursorXP for windows 2000 and XP systems.

Infrared Vs. Varsity Red = Which Is The True Classic AJ6
And just when you thought you could shout to the heavens above that the Air Jordan VI in the Bulls colorway was going to be released, they give us shocking news: the AJ VI will not be infrared but varsity red.
“So what?”, says some… “dude, what the hell?”, says others… Make no mistake though, according to those who have picked up the pair of kicks early, varsity red is brighter than infrared.
Expect a full report on what was said by the sneakernets, any videos, and lots of opinions and pics when the sneaker is about to release.
