Wrap-Up Interview with Wale
(and the sneaker revolution continues!!!!)
Did you guys catch this? Wale, the guy known for his kicks as well as his rryhmes, did a interview with Rap-Up as the Leaders of the New School (as a guy who follows Hip Hop, I say its about time) and I encourage you guys to read it. Its not creazy indepth but its still interesting.
I Love The and1 Look: and1 Progression Mid
(is and1 making a comeback???)
As seen on Kenlu.net, the and1 Progression is looking real good. Its a nice clean look for the court or off the court. I am not sure how many kids would get this because its not “Nike” or Jordan, but I do think for adults its a great option for something to wear.
The 3 different colorways can be seen on Kenlu.net
Looks Like Finishline Stepped Its Game Up: Updated Website
(looks like we got ourselves a updated site)
While browsing the net for new sneakers and shoes on sale, I headed to FinishLine (as usual) and noticed that the site got updated just a touch. It now features a slide show of featured items, links to your favorite sneaker lines, and tags to your, ou guessed it, favorite sneaker lines as well as specific sneakers or shoes on sale.
And a nice touch, some footwear companies get a special landing page (sometimes I hate that because I want to go directly to the sneakers) that actually looks good and is useful. Reeboks landing page (when you click on the category tag REEBOK) actually has info on it I want to see and they CLEARLY mark where I can click to get to the kicks I want to see (or all the kicks they have at Finishline)
Desktop Fun: Get Your Wallpaper Game Up
(well, guess who’s in the fothermuckin house LOL)
You guys may not have noticed, but I am into changing my desktop into a sneaker (or shoe) haven. Wallpaper with matching skins for XP/Vista and a matching cursor and maybe matching icons for the whole system.
Maybe that is a little extreme for most people who probably only want a wallpaper but hey, I am a special kind of guy.
You can find some of the stuff I use fo my desktop at WinCustomize.com and the programs to run it from Stardock.com
Fantastic. Wallpapers are from Nicekicks and from Flickr’s Sneaker Pimps Photo Group
