Are These Fake? Air Jordan 2009 – White Red and Black
They look alright. Sort of a a Holy Grail Air Jordan 6 flavor but with more white…. but is it fake? Even if they are fake, I think the Jordan team would do well adobting some of that colorway. I think a white and red version of the Air Jordan 2009 (without the black or maybe less black) would look good.
FYI
Jordan may pull off the AJ2009 if he gets those colorways right and those materials on point. Let the patent leather go (maybe one pair can get it but the rest, please use something else) and go with rich leather or soft brush leather (like on the black and red AJ14′s).

They look ok, and I can imagine that they are comfortable. They sure are interesting looking especially the black ones. Not my style but nice. The cost… I heard 400+ dollars.

If you are into footwear in general (like I am) or specifically into woman fashion shoes, this is a place you need to bookmark. I am not even close to sure how I ended up finding this place (other than trying o look up Beyonce’s super high heel painful shoe that she can’t seriously wear anywhere other than a photoshoot), but I am glad I landed there.
They have a pretty big listing of normal to exotic shoes that you may want to see. It is also helpful that they tell you the maker and link to where you can get a pair (if they are still selling them).
And have you ever heard of a site called Shoetube??? lol Incredible. I don’t believe it. Oh and don’t forget to check out the featured shoes too. My only critizism of the site is that it needs to be more museum and show more art, descriptions, reviews and such. Make it a real experience online as oppossed to a links archive to where to buy the shoes and who made them (of course that is very important… but I still want more).

It looks like Lebron is such a great basketball player and he looks so good on the court that he just has to be put on the cover of GQ magazine.
Read the article here… tell me why they also wanted to let you know that he contributed money to Obama, I will never know… maybe it has something to do with being grown (adult with responsibilities and is responsible and active) and sexy (getting the cover of GQ Magazine).

This shoe looks great!!! I am not sure what the ladies think of this, but as a guy who likes shoes (and sneakers) I have to say that L.A.M.B. has risen higher than I expected them to. I mean just look at the artistry of this shoe… nice.
I guess that is why it costs almost 400 dollars. lol at people thinking sneakers are expensive should take a look at men and women’s shoes. A good shoe can cost 150+ and usually it is in the 250 range (you just have to wait for a sale… when that happens some shoes come down 75% from retail).
Anyway, I don’t know if I would pay 300-400 smacks for a shoe, but I would get my fair lady this is she wanted it.

Lets look at hot the interwebz took the news conference:
“Let’s come up with a shoe that helps us play better defense,” noted Jordan, speaking of the thought process behind the initial design sketches. “As a defensive player, sometimes the element of surprise comes into play. [The shoe] looks kind of basic, kind of clean, kind of in disguise. But there’s a lot of sophisticated technology in there.” Jordan shook me off with the Michael Crichton-speak like I was a weak-kneed benchwarmer thrown in at the last minute. He continued, “What makes this shoe different from the next? We always try and implement DNA characteristics into the shoe.” And there: I’m gone. I had no idea what he meant by that, and I lost track of the context, but it was probably something either about the history of the shoe or the way it fits your foot. Exactly.

For me, this sneaker is alright. Its not great, but its alright. Usually when I am diggin’ in the sneaker crates, I go back at least 5 months ago from either my own blog posts or various other sites (including Sneakerfiles, Kicks on Fire, and The Shoe Game to name a few), but I just had to remind you folks of this… its just cool.
Yeah, I know, I am sure there are other way cooler things that have happened over the past month (including the hyper reaction toward the release of the CDP 11 + 12… man you should have seen the stories and comments about getting that pack LMAO) but I just wanted to remind people of just how cool the idea of coming out with a sneaker that no one has seen become something to line up for… and make a song over… it just sends things to another level.
I don’t know if 2009 will be a good sneaker and shoe year, but I do look forward to these custom design hypefest releases that I think will take over the sneaker game (I think the shoe game has always had custom releases… but not many people focus on that… well until I came around lol)

Pony is looking toward the skate community for some love… and may get it with these. I saw them in a store at 42 Street and they look pretty nice. Can’t complain. I wonder though: Is Pony giving up on the PPG coating or will we see more of it? I guess you can’t put that on a skate shoe, but personally I liked the idea of the candy paint on my shoe… no one else seemed to like it though.
