Good lawd, thanks to comment posters on my previous post on Beyonces Diva multi-single cover, I now know of another way that women can torture their feet. Its called the Ballet Boot or Ballet High Heel. There doesn’t seem to be many major or boutique brands covering this type of footwear (unless I missed it) so I don’t know how far this will go until some more footwear companies of them pick it up.
They are on sale at Candlelight Fashions and a couple of other sites online. Don’t know of any stores that carry them but I sure they are out there.

With all the releases, previews, one shots, limited editions, hyper limited edition, quick strikes, wishlists, and so forth, allot of sneakers and shoes get lost in the mix. So its about time to start looking back at what people were (and wasn’t) talking about. So not only will I be digging through my own blog posts over the past year and a half, I will be looking at what other sneaker blogs have looked at as well as some stuff I liked that came out years ago but is still freakin fresh (at least to me of course).

I am sure other sneaker sites gave many people the heads up on some of these, but I think this stuff deserves being revisited when they actually go on sale (or when you forget about them a few months after they went on sale).

Converse x UNDFTD = The Poorman’s Weapon
Hawt, Hawt, HAWT!!! I am totally in love with these sneakers right here. Converse and UNDFTD did some real work right here. First seen on High Snob.
I like the texture, the stitching, the material and the over all look. It may be just the pictures doing more of the talking than than the sneaker, but I think this sneaker will look great in real life .
But what’s the best part? I think if they get messed up and scuffed that they will look even better!!! I can already see parts of the sneaker falling off as part of the artistry of the sneaker.
Maybe I am gushing too much about them but I need these sneakers.
This Converse Poorman’s Weapon designed by UNDFTD draws on inspiration from satin material from flight jacket’s providing an impressive aesthetic. Featuring a Chuck Taylor sole the nylon upper provides a great combat look while the velcro patches and a “War is Big Business” embroidered patch definitely make this a unique sneaker. Beyonce new album is out, new videos have been recently released and other info on what Beyonce is doing has also come to light…. but all I want to know is where did she get those shoes? I bet it will take me weeks to find them online. When I do, I will update this post so you may want to save it if you want to find out what they are as well.

In a story on Bossip (yes I do read the blog gossip rags… CAUSE THEY ARE FUNNY lol) Jamie Foxx is putting his daughter on lockdown due to the fact that the paps taking pictures keep looking at his daughter as one of his dates.
Jamie Foxx has banned his teenage daughter from dating – after the press confused the 14-year-old girl for his latest flame. The actor/singer admits he’s become overprotective of his leggy young daughter, Corrine, because men often ogle her on the street, thinking she’s twice her age.
He says, “She’s not going to date until she’s married. She’s so beautiful, she’s five (feet), seven (inches), size nine-and-a-half shoe. “I was coming out of a restaurant with her, I guess the paparazzi didn’t know who she was, and the paper said, ‘Foxx with young hottie’. “It just kills you because she’s so grown, but she’s only 14!”Source: Bossip.com
What I find funny is that if you actualy LOOK AT HER, you can tell she is still a kid. The second thing is, why did Jamie mention her shoe size? I know I am into feet just as much as the next guy… well maybe a little bit more than the next guy, but something is funny about him detailing shoe size. Nevertheless, considering that he did mention shoe size, I posted this otherwise totally unrelated to sneakers or shoes story.
Now what I have to do is find out what shoes she is wearing cause they do look pretty nice.

Sneakers and Shoes Sunday Sports Wrap-Up = S&S Sunday Sports
If you haven’t noticed, I have been only posting Sunday – Wednesday. That will probably be my thing for the next year as I enter school, read some interesting business books, and spread the grown and sexy love across the interwebzzzz. Anyway, I decided (a while ago actually but I haven’t emplemented it.. until now) that starting next week, I will have theme posts in the hopes that some of my many 100′s of readers will have something special to look forward to.
Anyway, I figure since most sneakers are used in sports and some sort of exercise, why not talk about sports… and some sort of exercise… every once and a while.
So, here is a little Sunday Sports Wrap-Up giving you the story behind the athlete and the team wearing the sneakers.

Timberland Gets Earthy and All Environmental Like
Timbo basically is sayin that the Earth and outdoor-ism is what Timberland is all about so why not make products that do not do undue damage to the environment aka Earth. Sooooooo they have introduced the Earthkeepers. You can find these at Macys, Zappos and other sites across the web. Oh and Reuters also wrote something on this too.
How long will this last? I don’t know. Its always a good idea to respect the Earth and the environment we all live in, but just how good will these new cleaner eathier boots are and how much will people like them with Nike and its Nike Boots on its coattails?

I sort of can’t imagine someone making a video just for Nike Boots, but then again they are so freaking comfortable that I can see someone coming up with the idea and being inspired to do it.
I mean those Nike Boots (especially the Goadome) are very comfortable. If you work on your feet all day, then you are getting these boots. Will Nike, one day, make comfortable work boots too?

More Flywire Hyperdunk Video Introductions… I want a pair lol
I didn’t or wasn’t that interested in the sneaker, but I think it has grown on me. Plus the fact I hear it’s a great basketball sneaker (but I guess I will have to wait until next year to find out… I guess I will start reporting on sneaker and shoe performance sooner or later) and it is soooo light weight that you don’t even feel them. I guess I am really starting to like the sneakers (the many colorways… not o much… but I like Puerto Rico)

LeBron James New Chalk Commercial
Did I post this before? Doubt it lol Anyway I just saw the commercial and I have to admit I am starting to REALLY feel the marketing push for LeBron. I mean, I like him and he does some pretty good work on the hardwood, but I wasn’t neccisarly a fan… but I am starting to get pulled in, especially with all of his New York themed sneakers that make a so-so looking sneaker look hot (I said it before, and I will say it again, I do not like the design of the LeBron VI BUT the colorways and materials designed for it make it worth getting… and if you play ball they are really a nice supportive sneaker).
If LeBron comes to NY in 2010 (lawd knows I want him to come to Brooklyn and play for the Nets but we got that stadium problem and it not being built yet and all in downtown Brooklyn).
Next year if going to be interesting already.
