On Sale: Nicholas Kirkwood EXCLUSIVE Lizard Skin Shoe at Browns
Never heard of Nicholas Kirkwood before EVER but I will be following the company from now on. This shoe is fabulous and I will be blogging about it on my other more grown and sexy blog for professional gentlemen (once I do the grand re-opening LOL).
These shoes cost $550 dollars of which is pretty high but considering the cost of most couture shoes, the price is pretty low. The detail of this shoe is great and the colors work well to me. Here a link to more of Kirkwood’s creations. Description of the shoe as follows:
Grey lizard skin shoe. Square toe. Metal straps and the panels of lizard skin sits across the front of the shoe. A zip fastening runs up the back. High heel. 100% Leather 100% Lizard skin, Zip fastening. Square toe, Italian sizes and 5 Inch heels.

I wanted to say “WOW” considering that this is a sneaker company making high heel shoes that have a sort of sneaker quality but they are sort of more “interesting” than “wow”. Nevertheless it is defiantly noteworthy and is DEFIANTLY a collectible if you are into all footwear like I am.

Bring Back The Nike Air Trainer Carnivore
I want, no NEEEEED this sneaker back in my life. I bought them when they originally came out (never retroed) and loved them. They were one of the most comfortable sneakers I ever bought (most comfortable I bought was the Reebok DMX 10 Runner).
I hardly ever closed the top strap but when I did there was an amazing amount of support at the ankle. The fact that they have no laces also was a plus and the fact that the foot strap really held tight to my foot and worked just as well as laces.
I am really surprised that they have not re-released them considering all the other Huarache sneakers that have released. Granted that these sneaker are not Huarache as many people think, they were part of the Cross Trainer collection of sneakers (I could be wrong but I am looking at the sneaker right now at it has the old school cross trainer symbol and NO Huarache anything).
Sooooo when is it coming: Air Jordan 14.5
I am so waiting for this one to release. The drawing looks hot and the idea of getting my hands on a version of the 14′s (my favorite Air Jordan sneaker… too bad I only have one) makes me happy. I haven’t heard anything from the sneaker news sites and blogs out there about any info on this sneaker in a while. I am guessing it will release next year considering all the Jordan’s coming out every other weekend (especially those AJ Fusions) this year. I just want to know something about them. Even a sample picture of them would be nice.

WOOOOOW what a find while browsing the casual gear for men and women on Eastbay (I have to remind myself to do the same thing with Finishline and Nordstrom next week). I said it before and I’ll say it again, I love Baby Phat. These shoes look real nice and I can’t imagine why one of my lady friends wouldn’t want to wear these fabulous shoes.

I didn’t like them when they originally came out, but for some reason I love them now. If it wasn’t for the fact that like 600 dollars was wrapped up into getting Jordans (I did buy a pair of Rockports on sale… review with pictures later), Creative Recreation’s and Supra’s for the rest of the year I would get them.

Air Jordan 6 Rings CONCORD Release October 25
If I am not mistaken, these will be the most wanted sneaker this year. I think the 6 Rings Bred was a nice surprise and the Concord will be no different. Nicekicks has a nice post with many pictures and many colorful comments from the community on what truly will be the most wanted and interesting sneaker release other than the original that inspired it (the AJ 11 will release again in the countdown pack coming in December along with the 12′s).
I am defiantly getting these. I have no doubt that I will be either online buying them or at the store early in the morning.

Air Jordan Fusion 3 Black and Grey Doesn’t Look Good Up Close
(it looks great here but in real life… not so much)
I was going to get the Fusion 3 with the colorways that reflected the original AJ 3 but when I went to the sneaker spot and looked at the black and grey up close I was not impressed. I was SOOOOO glad I didn’t buy these sight unseen you wouldn’t believe. They just didn’t look that great. I was very dissapointed.
This is why I am not surprised that you can still find them in allot of stores and online easily. You can head over to Finishline (and other sites) right now and find these sneakers in most sizes (except the very small or the very big… as usual). I also got a look at the White and Black and they look a little plain too, but they look way better than the black and grey.
I have seen only one person in NYC wearing the white and black. Don’t know why its not all over the place (maybe because Brand Jordan decided that it will be a limited release) because it does look rather ok, but the black and grey is almost no where to be found considering that it is a general release.
Well, at any rate, these sneakers are still collectibles. While you won’t find them in my collection any time soon, if you are collecting fusions, you probably should get them. I think I will wait for the Fusion 20 white or black (both of them look hawt but I am going to wait and see and go to the store to get them just to make sure).
FYI Nike Store:
Nike store, please take better pictures of what it being sold. If you go an search for the Air Jordan fusion 3 they actually show the gradeschool picture as the Men’s sneaker. The gradeschool AJF 3 does not have the Air Force Supreme sole but the mens version does. When it came to the Air Jordan 1 Olympics, they took a picture of the inside part of the sneaker and not the outside. what is that about???
Nike please make sure the pictures of the highest selling products are correct. And stop using flash for EVERYTHING!!!
Nicekicks Did A Wonderful Thing: In Retrospect – Air Jordan 8 Aqua
Nicekicks, a couple of days ago, posted a question: What do you think of the release of the Auqa Retro 8 one year later? And the community sure did respond to that question (almost 80 posts).
The Air Jordan 8 (along with the Air Jordan 15) will be coming back in November. I love… LOVE the colorway coming out with the Countdown Pack in November. I don’t know if I can afford it considering the release of the Motorsports XX3 and the 6 Rings Concord (late October actually) during the same month, but I will try to work the finances to see how I can afford it.
Big Month In November
November is gonna be a big month. December gets the release of the AJ Countdown 11 + 12 of which everybody is going to try to get. October gets the 20 + 3 countdown pack.
Air Jordan Countdown Pack Report: 22+ 1 = Still On The Store Shelves

That’s right yall, the September countdown pack that released I believe almost 2 weeks ago, is still available for people to pick up. I am sort of into the pack, but I will admit that it is a very plain pack. If MJ and brand Jordan could have made the Air Jordan 1 “real hightops” as seen on Nicekicks.com in the comparison of the old school Air Jordan 1 and the retro in the pack, I think more people would have bought this. Lets face it, these packs are for the cats who was born in the 80′s and 90′s who always wanted the whole set but as kids they couldn’t afford it.
Another fact (what I would call a fact lol) would be that these packs are for people who are new to Brand Jordan and just plain wasn’t alive when the Air Jordan 6 first originally came out.
I was in the sneaker store looking at the Air Jordan 4 + 19 pack and a young buck was looking at them too talking about it with their friend, and I have to say it is amazing to me that they were so interested in them even though they probably wasn’t alive when the Air Jordan 4 came out. Its cool to see another generation like something that was from your generation.

Nevertheless both generations are not too into this pack. I do not think its the worst pack, but it is the most unwanted apparently. I want this pack, but not at the current price of 310 dollars (350 after taxes in NYC). The Air Jordan 1 costs 100 dollars, the Air Jordan 22 costs 175 so how can the pack itself in total cost 310? All the packs cost 310 and I am sure some packs cost more than 310 (I’ll figure that out later if that is true) and you also have to think about the fact that Nike is making these sneakers and have to retrofit the factories to make old technologies so maybe the cost is 310… but I still not feeling it.
Anyway… just blabering…
I still thin the pack has some flair for being just black and white… boring but different. I will get them but after they go on “fire sale” and I buy them for 150 LOL
If you want to be different and get what I think is the best looking Air Jordan 22 (the 22′s didn’t seem to get the right colorways or rather they didn’t put the paint on it right) I think you may get them for AJ 22.

An interesting sneaker style for those who wish to look a little different. Plenty of colors (well not plenty but more than a few) available for those who wish the have a colorway that matches school colors or casual clothing.
Eastbay has a video on them (very interesting Eastbay) telling you what’s what and so forth. its a nice touch, but I actually want more. I am a advocate of sneaker companies giving me a reason why I should get this sneaker over another one. I mean hey, if I’m not wearing this sneaker just for casual, then I want to know what the sneaker (or shoe) performance will be on the court, on the street, on the track, and so forth.
The sneakers are only available at Eastbay (so they say). The Cost is $99.99. I think these are outdoor sneakers for the warmer months or indoor sneakers because there are allot of open areas in the sneaker.

Now you know companies and personalities (even stores) have been teaming up with sneaker and shoe makers to make exclusive original footwear. Barneys did it, Nike does it, Fila does it, Greedy Genuis does it, Creative Recreation… the list goes for miles. Now, for the first time (and possibly last time the way some people are reacting) we have a search engine and a sneaker company making exclusive kicks for the feets!
If you haven’t gathered from reading my blog for the past year and 2-3 months is that I’m… what’s the word… unique. Special (in the head) and original (my sneaker and shoe collection is the most eclectic mix! I can’t wait to the day when I start showing it off) and opinionated on stuff I may or may not really know much about LOL. So you may not be surprised that I like this particular combo.
Yahoo has a page made specifically for its Purple Movement. I am not sure or not if this will work. The sneaker seems simple enough but it could use something. I do wonder why Pony didn’t use that technology that creates a nice car-like paint shine. That would have been cool.

In Fashion news: Jay-Z Takes On Artful Dodger
It looks like Jay-Z wants more than the Roc on his butt. While I am sure he will still rock the Roc, he will also be very artifully dodging the fac that he will be also wearing Artful Dodger (yes that was a corny play on words).
I am impresssed by this move. I was not aware of it but nevertheless still impressed. No pictures of the new line has come out yet but as soon as I see it, I’ll post about it. Karmaloop has some Artful Dodger… at expensive prices… It looks to me that Mr. Jay-Z will be making a killing with this. I mean t-shirts for 60 dollars??? Pants for 155?
Despite the cost, I like the line and may find some of their clothes under my Chrismas Tree.

As seen on Selectism (a HighSnob blog). What we have here is a shoe that is also a floppy. If the midsole was any thinner, you would be walking directly on the ground. I can’t imagine how comfortable these are but if you are just chillin with friends or at the lounge, you are not on your feet too much so how much walking around will you be doing anyway?
Get ready to spend over 200 dollars for it. And no i never heard of 3:33 before but I will be watching then from now on.

More Olympic Sneakers: Reebok Omni Pump Olympics “Yao Ming”
Ummmm… these just look crazy. I don’t have any words for this look. I certinly did not see this at the Olympics 2008 and if I am not mistaken, Yao Ming was wearing the Nike Hyperdunk… not sure about that.

Officially on Saturday (but I could have sworn it was supposed to release next weekend) the Ar Jordan 1 + 22 has released. I am not too into these pair of sneakers although the AJ22 actually looks good. I think, in fact that the AJ22 colorway is the best colorway so far seen on the AJ22.

Lets just face it, this pack is the most boring looking thing to come out in high end sneaker market in a while. Most sneakers above the 125+ range have some material or colors somewhere but not here. I don’t expect allot of people to get these (but I was wrong about the AJ Countdown 18 + 5 thinking they would sell out quick cause they are still on the racks and online) but I am sure the people who are collecting all the pack or people who don’t have those black and white AJ 1′s are getting these.
I don’t see me getting these, but if I had money flowing out of my ass, I would get them. But I will keep my money in my pocket considering that I want to buy 2 other AJ packs (the 11 + 12 and the 20 + 3 or the 8 + 15… damn those 15′s!!!)

I was wondering if they were going to put out more colorways. With Air Jordan, you never know if they are going to just put out 3 colorways or a hundred thousand LOL I can’t wait to see these in my hands. I don’t have to wait to see them in a store, theses are coming home as soon as I can order them.
One thing though… patent leather. I am just not interested with the patent leather. Don’t get me wrong, i will get them, but I wish it was just regular white leather. In fact, now that I think about it, only 2 AJ23′s don’t have patent leather. Apparently MJ likes the patent.

I like them. My money is currently tied up in “The Year of Jordan” and other releases such as the Eggplant Foamposite, those hybrid Footlocker exclusive Air Max Plus Tn x Air Max 360 and those Skytops and those Creative Recreations and not to mention the grown and sexy shoe I need to go with my casual wear and suits… (ok that is a lot of footwear purchasing lol) so I don’t think I will be getting them, but i do believe they are collectibles and would be great on the court.
