I sort of get the idea of the cutesy shoes. You are in your ballet shoes and your trying to be the lady who walks on their tippy toes and who are as skinny as hell, you should probably get these. Theyscream, “look at me and how dainty I am!” How did these things get popular anyway?
What cracks me up even more is that I will see women walking in these things in the rain or on their way to work. Are they that comfortable that they can be worn all day and in the rain too?
Well, here is a pair that I like. Look like gators with the daintiness of a petite woman flinging herself around the air.
They come in 3 different designs and the cost, get this: $95 Dollars 100% leather, from Italy. High class ladies. If your going for the light and airy look, you might as well take it there and get these.
I have seen this sneaker almost 3 to 5 times a day and have been for a while now (and no there were not the same people lol). I am not sure why they are so hot considering that I am sure there have been white and red Air Force One lows before, but I do have to admit they do look really good.
I have not seen them online anywhere except for a couple of sites (like sneakerhead BTW: I never shopped there so buyer beware) and it has only been in grade school (GS) sizes. I know for a FACT that this sneaker is sold in stores such as Footlocker, Finishline and Foot Action in adult sizes in NYC. I may get me a pair since I like them so much and the fact that I don’t have a pair of Air Force Ones (gasp!!! I should close my blog for saying such blasphemy!!! lol).
I don’t know if this is a regional released or a national release in stores only but it is in NYC and I have only seen it in stores. Prices I have seen have been in the betweens the 80 and 90 Bucks.
Nice… While searching for a video commercial on Skechers flashing light kids sneakers (more on that later), I found this. Pretty nice. It is from a year or so ago but its still cool. Video posted by c2apple01
This is pretty nice. Timberland is stepping it up real nice these days. Not only do they make work boots, but they make beautiful womens shoes and now sneakers and watches (and belts but who isn’t making belts lol)
Does this thing really have air in it? lol Ok, ok, anyway, I think these look awesome. AWESOME lol I am not sure if this is 2008 Olympics related or not due to its name having “metal” in it though but nevertheless they still look very cool (and 2 colorways… not so into the other colorway though).
These look so hot. I am not one of those people who likes solid color sneakers unless they are black or white, but these are nice. My Mom is into New Balance (because they make sneakers that have widths) so I think if I show her these, she will flip for them.
I must have been sleeping through this one… When did they start selling the Voltron Reebok pack? Well, anyway, while browsing through Dr Jay’s catalog of sneakers and shoes, I saw these and felt I should make a post on them. They are on sale for $60.00 with way more pictures of them. You can get the other lions at Dr Jays to (black, red, yellow and blue)
I been telling myself that I should get a pair of these sneakers and mix and match the interior sox that they have for the sneakers. I love those interior sox:
The Equipment line is, to me, a bulky pair of sneakers but adidas brought them back and people love them. There are see-though adidas sneakers but I am not sure if they are legit sneakers or not but I have seen the see-throughs in major store chains in NYC (and when I say major, I mean we are talking about nation wide stores and international companies).
If you are on the net looking at sneaker blogs, you must have seen this. In case you didn’t, I figured I post it here too lol I like the ?uestlove sneakers allot. I would love to wear these and have them in my small collection. First seenon sneakerfiles.com
If you want a image of Tokyo’s skyline on your feet, here is your chance (I couldn’t help my self saying that). They look nice. Sneakerfiles says that they are on sale so check them out for more info.
I really like the red ones and the white ones are pretty cool too.
I wasn’t too into the 6ings sneaker but I like this. Maybe its the colors or something, I don’t know but tis sneaker look nice to me. I think the 6ings is one of those sneakers that have to be in a certain colorway in order to work. This is one of those colorways.
It comes in 2 colorways to start, who knows how many during the course of the 08 winter
I am not too sure about this one right here. I know that the Nike boot a very popular boot in NYC for winter 07/08 but I don’t know about the foamposite boot will do the trick. They don’t look all that great but I know they are comfortable. I am not sure how much more comfortable adding the foamposite will make them but I will put my foot in them to see. The pair I got now (that are not foamposite mind you) are very comfortable and my feet are very happy about it.
The all black one’s I think will be more popular. As for the blue and black ones, they look cool but I think they will be hard to pas going to work lol
They gonna cost 225 dollars. Yeah, 225 dollars. MO money MO Money MO Money!!!! LMAO
Nothing really to say here (other than I want a pair of Titanium Air 23′s). I am not into peering into other peoples closets, but this is one closet I would like to look into. First seen on Sneaker Vault of which links to Sole Collector.
As seen on Sneakervault.com, and it looks alright. I like how the adidas stripes wrap around the shoe and it doesn’t touch the ground. It’s like hovering in the air… I like it.
Now I know I am supposed to be all into sneakers and shoes, but I could swear that I seen this design before. yeah, yeah I know, I should know where I seen this thing before… in the Sneaker Vault post, it mentions the Team USA … maybe its a team sneaker with a signiture for Candice Parker?
The only reason… the BIGGEST reason… why I like this sneaker is how the sole looks. Just look at that! I like it. The rest of the sneaker is ok and stuff, too bad the best part of the sneaker (in my opinion) will be the part you are walking on LOL
As seen on Dr. Jays (I’m going on a Dr Jays tear today) for $75.00
310 Motoring is motoring on the ocean lol for $80.00
This looks real sweat. Too bad I didn’t get to see it earlier cause i would have made a post on it way earlier. This sneaker has a nice look (its a little wild for me though, but I would have gotten it anyway lol) and that faux alligator look makes the sneaker complete. Not sure what an alligator and the water has to do with each other LMAO
Now this looks really cool. It looks kinda girly to me but its still looks cool. I would buy it but I really need to stick to my budget. As usual, Dr. Jays has a bunch of stuff that matches what ever you are interested in. That LRG Hustle Trees Track Jacket really looks like a match.
An ID case that has penetrated some of the most popular stores including Sports Authority and Discount Shoe Warehouse. 41 million credit and debit card numbers stolen all sorts of stores involved (not just footwear and sports stores I might add including TJ Max, Boston Market, Barnes and Noble). Some info was sold to other criminals and the rest was used to create duplicate cards.
And they did it using wireless networks of the stores.
They have no idea how much was stolen (but even if its low, it can in crease over time because they are now you with your identity) but TJ Max is saying it cost them over 200 million. This is a big deal ladies and gentelmen because we all shop online and we all shop in stores. These 11 individuals are just the beginning to what will be the next level of criminal activity… identity theft.
If you haven’t put your identity on lock yet, I think you should start thinking about it. Check your credit reports (from all 3 credit report bureaus… not point in just checking one) and go to annualcreditreport.com of which is set up by the feds in joint with the 3 credit bureaus (ummm don’t go to free credit report.com because the free isn’t so free after 7 days and no I never used the product but I am HIGHLY suspect of those commercials… even though they are pretty good commercials)
Be careful out there and happy sneaker and shoe shopping!
I have always said that I would get me a pair of and1 sneakers to play ball in but I have never did it. Something always takes over in importance and I end up putting it off. it doesn’t help that I haven’t actually played ball in a couple of years.
This is an awkward looking sneaker. I do wonder how exactly this works. If it does work so well, why hasn’t anybody thought of it before? And for 240 bucks, its a really expensive experiment to find out if it really works for you or not. I’m not in a position (not yet… but I’m getting there) to buy it and then tell you about it so I guess I’m just going to have to leave it there.
Every step you take in the MBT Chapa GTX helps tone and trim your legs while reducing strain on your feet, knees, back and entire body. Developed with extensive research, this is not your typical shoe. They are a completely new concept… the first ever physiological footwear. Essentially, they activate your body’s support and postural muscles, which means that your muscles will work more, you’ll have less strain on your joints, and you’ll just plain feel better! The rounded outsole features a key pivot point that generates natural rolling movement in the foot for even weight distribution. The MBT Chapa GTX features a rich nubuck leather and single-layer mesh upper with Dry & Cool mesh inserts for structured yet breathable support. Special antimicrobial treatment on the foam sockliner reduces odor, prolonging the life of the shoe. Glass-fiber shank provides firm support overlaid with an EVA midsole that molds to your foot. Durable, rubber outsole with lightweight cushion and traction.
Gore-Tex is part of the deal too. Weatherproof baby! I have a feeling that these work out and/or casual type sneakers will be popular. Made for walking folks.
Oh and I don’t know who is MBT… research that later.
I really like the Hyperdunk, but I need a ice colorway. To me this sneaker needs a really cool colorway to go with it. I think most colorways will look horrible on this sneaker, but the one pictured above is hot! Apparently many people think so because this one is all sold out except for one size.
I love the price point for the Hyperdunk. Its a sneaker anyone can get and feel ok playing in too because your not marking up 170 dollar sneakers.
These are one of the popular colorways from the Fusion V collection. Now on sale at Eastbay for less than the original price. If you were fiending for another pair of Fusion V’s (really popular in NYC… Fusion III’s not so much yet… oh and I have a original story coming to you about those sneakers and what I am continuously keep seeing even in NATIONAL BRAND STORES!!!)
On sale for 119.99 and the usual suspect 7 – 12 sizes left.
Man, there is so much sneaker and shoe stuff to post and such little time. Here is a quote from the article:
Scientists working to help astronauts regain balance after extended flights in zero gravity say they’ve found a way to use the research to help elderly people avoid catastrophic falls.
An “iShoe” insole contains sensors that read how well a person is balancing. The point is to gather information for doctors and to get people to a specialist — before they fall.
Erez Lieberman, a graduate student who developed the technology while working as an intern at NASA, says a damaging fall is preceded by numerous warnings, similar to how high cholesterol and elevated blood pressure point to a coming heart attack.
“You gradually get worse and worse at balancing,” said Lieberman, who studies in a joint Harvard-Massachusetts Institute of Technology health science and technology program. “If you know the problem is there, you can start addressing the problem.”
Isn’t that amazing stuff? Space technology on your feet. I think this is amazing and will help people from not only being injured, but dieing from their injuries.
