You Probably Know This Already: Air Jordan 6 Rings Released
As seen on Eastbay.com and a few other sites (Finishline and Footlocker to name a couple). The Six Ring Bred (Bread as I call them… not that I have any authority to do so LOL) is one of the most popular searches on my blog so I am guessing that these will be a sleeper hit (I say sleeper hit because there were not many nice comments about the sneaker for the most part on sneaker blog sites… sort of half and half). There is even a Digg.com post on it that actually got 52 votes, of which is surprising because Digg is a tech site fo the most part.
I have also seen many people wearing them today, even 2 couples (of which is not that common to see such a thing). People seem to really like tham and I will admit that they look WAY better in person.

The Jordan 6 Rings incorporates key features from each shoe that MJ wore while stacking up the Championship rings for the Chicago Bulls. Celebrate the history of Jordan with this hybrid design that takes its cues from six legendary Jordan shoe styles. It’s made with a full-grain leather, synthetic leather and engineered mesh upper, with details like the lacelock and heel loop from the Jordan VI, a huarache-style inner sock from the Jordan VII and a fuzzy tongue logo and VELCRO® brand fastener from the Jordan VIII. The midsole, a full-length Phylon™ unit with Zoom Air™ in the heel and forefoot, was inspired by the Jordan XIII. The entire upper silhouette gets its design from the Jordan XI while the “TWO3″ script on the tongue and metal lace loops on top are taken from the Jordan XII. I love reading these descriptions. sometimes they are really into the sneaker, and sometimes… well lets just say that you get a one line description that basically says that this is a sneaker lol

- Air Jordan 6 (VI) – Lacelock on laces, heel loop
- Air Jordan 7 (VII) – Huarache style inner sock
- Air Jordan 8 (VIII) – Fuzzy tongue logo, Velcro strap
- Air Jordan 11 (XI) – Silhouette of upper
- Air Jordan 12 (XII) – T W O 3 on tongue, metal lace loops at top

- Air Jordan 14 (XIV) – Jumpman at bottom of tongue near the toe
So first we had the Dub Zero, then we had the Spizike, not we have the 6 Ring. I wonder what is next? I think the next time they do this, they should call them Monster Game or something like that (I’m usually good at coming up with names but I’m tires lol). Sooooo… What Was Micheal Phelps and Team Wearing On Their Feet?
The American Swimming Team (Go Team USA!!!) has made history, kept history and broke a new world record while doing it. First of all, I was totally not aware that the US swim team never lost the 400M Swim since the inception of the 400 at the Olympics.
That is ALMOST as interesting as what they were wearing on their feet (at least to me lol). I had to rewind the tape a few times (and no, they do not swim in footwear but they did walk out in them) to see them and make sure that what I was looking at was what I was looking at.
And I am still not sure lol
Well, this is what I think they had on:
The only problem here is that the sneaker I saw them wearing looked like it had the Nike swoosh on the upper, not on the midsole. Maybe its the next gen?

I do have a few un-footwear related questions though:
- Why would anybody wear sneakers walking to the pool knowing that all you are going to do is swim?
- How did Visa know Micheal Phelps would get 8 Gold metals before he did it? lol
- Why does NBC have a chronicle ready for all to buy on its website…ready to be shipped!
- Why, even after all the attention to swimming, will their still be no Aquaman movie/tv show?
- Why do they call Micheal Phelps Superman when he is a swimmer and not Aquaman?
- WHERE DO I BUY THOSE SPEEDO SWIM SUITS????
