Nice Sandals: Maison Martin Margiela Covered-Heel Wedge Sandal
Not exactly sure why its called sandals cause they look like freakin complete shoes. I mean, so what there isn’t anything around the toes except a big toe strap? LOL I seen these on The.LIFE files weblog. They didn’t have a link to the shoe sandals so I had to COMPLETELY SCOWER the internet for them… and I found them!
They are on eLuxury for $595.00 and yes they are very expensive sandals. The best part if that they have other colors. Here is the description they have on the site:

I Need Pockets On My Sneakers: Vans SK8-HI LX Cargo
I LOVE THIS!!! I may get it just because it has a pocket. For years when i was in elementry school, I was sooooooooooooo into Kangaroo sneakers. You may or may not remember them, but I loved them. I made up reasons to use the pockets LOL I would put my key in them, a ring, my allowence… my 5GB SD card… oh wait they didn’t have those then lol
While I am not sure if many body would consider these a collectible, but I like it and now I have to figure out how I will get them. Maybe if I cut out eating out for lunch? I spent 50 bucks last week for stuff that I didn’t have to buy if I brought lunch with me… totally unnecessary.
The sneaker costs about 80 bucks so if I can bring my lunch to work, I can get them… but I love going to Subways.

Everybody Has A Skate Shoe: Puma First Round Skate
I think that the skate board movement is the most interesting “retro” thing to happen in the 21 Century of the Future lol. I mean, aren’t we all supposed to be flying around in space cars and stuff? Please someone tell me why I see people with high top fades and rope chains a couple of days ago (and I think they were wearing striped polo shirts too)?

The Air Yeezy is gaining popularity. Me? I like the fact that part of the sneaker glows in the dark. I’m not as into as everybody else is (you guys should read some of the comments on this sneaker at Nicekicks or Sneakerfiles… its crazy) but I will admit that they are pretty nice AND that I will have to buy a pair to have for my budding sneaker collection.
Make no mistake, these are collectibles. If you are trying to start your own footwear collection, this might be a cool start.

Wow, I like this… but not for just chillin in spank you very much, but to run in? Yes I would run in these. The Magabounces I have now work very well so far. I mean I haven’t ran in them too long or too often, but they feel great. I am mad that I haven’t really done anything in them but i think that will change in the next couple of weeks.
I think this is for the serious runner (jogging) or someone who is interested in comfort while running or going for long walks. I think the price is good and there is no way that if you run during the twilight hours that a car won’t see you cause these things reflect.

Eastbay did it again! lol They have the brand spanking new Hyperdunks and they also have the Olympic Hyper Dunks as well. They all look nice, but I prefer the non-Olympic ones (except for the China’s and Puerto Rico ones)
Lets see if anybody starts wearing them. I am sure if I go to Great Adventure again that they will show up there, but in the city, I don’t know. I guess I will see over the next 2 weeks.
One thing that has been happening as of late; there will be sneakers that will be sold out, but you never see them on the streets or you will hardly see them. The Air Jordan 23′s are a perfect example. I have not seen anyone wearing the white and red and just now started seeing people wearing the black and red.
Anyway, time will tell.

Ever Shop At Amazon For Sneakers? Starbury’s Soon Sold on Amazon
If I am buying a sneaker for less than 20 dollars (the price may be higher but I am sure it will still be affordable), I think I should be able to by them online LOL I never been to the Starbury store in Coney Island (is it there? I am pretty sure it is there), but my time is so tight these days… but now I can get a pair and see what everyone has beeen talking about over the pat few years since the inception of the brand.

Nike has slowly been re-releasing different Air Penny models, and the return of the Air Penny II is near. Next year Nike will bring back the Air Penny III, 1/2 Cent (Air Penny hybrid), and release a new purple colorway of the Foamposite One. Nike is basically making Penny fans dreams come true, so get ready.
You know, this is why I am into sneakers (and shoes). I may be a newbie, but the sheer history behind some of these creations is amazing. I can not wait until those eggplant Foamposites come out… lets just hope that they don’t change it at the last minute.

The people they interview… just WOW. And you know what, I don’t know if anybody else thought this but…I always thought that the bubble on the Penny2′s would bust walking on the streets of NY… but I never heard of any stories of the bubble busting just from casual walking down the street.

You know, at first I though this would end up being… I don’t know… LAME AS HELL, but the sneakers actually look REALLY good. Not great, but good.

I haven’t bought a pair of Fila’s since 1998. I don’t even remember the name of them nor do I remember what happened to them (I always remember what happened to my sneakers from leaving them in my locker to rot in school or to slice them in half to see the air bubble… of which was not there even though it said NIKE AIR LOL). I liked them because they had really soft leather and they were on sale.
That was the first and last Fila in my closet though. I don’t know, Fila just isn’t me and it isn’t my style. But these Nas x Fila’s are making me think hard about buying me some Fila’s.

I truly hope hope that this goes over well. I wasn’t looking for these sneakers today, but I will be looking out for them during the week to see if anybody is wearing them. Man, I can’t wait to school starts so I can see what the kids are wearing. That will be helpful to see what is popular (at least with the kiddies).

Wow!!! Supra wants me to spend money on them. I am a really big fan of the Muska Skytop and I guess I will have to find a way to buy them (I decided this month that I am just spending too much money on sneakers and shoes and I need to take a break) but it won’t be this year.
Good thing because this line up comes out in the Fall because by Spring 2009, I’ll be ok to get more sneakers (and shoes).

Speaking Of Back To School Pack… Nike Vandal High Premium
Everybody keeps asking me, “How/where do I get the Back To School Pack?” Well its sold out and has been for almost a year. Unless you want to go to eBay and take your chances to get them there (and spend a whole lot of money to buy them), you will not get them.
But if you are interested in one of the 3 of the original Back To School Pack, HERE IT IS. Don’t say I didn’t hep you guys out.
For whatever reason, these were not as popular as the other ones… but they look cool to me. I still say that unless you have 2 pair of the whole pack, I would never wear them cause they are so original.. but that is just me.

Even with all the drama about the Air Jordan 4′s, it would seem that many people online have been buying these sneakers. I think, sometimes, its just the speculators who just buy them and go straight to eBay to sell them. I never seen so many general release sneakers be sold out on the first day or during the first 3-5 days and not see them anywhere in NYC unless its near a highschool… and even then its not something you see too often.
Speculators or people just scared to wear them… or they so special that no one wants to wear them (I still haven’t worn my Air Jordan 23′s yet).
Well, if you want them, go and get them before its too late. Sold out on Finishline, don’t even see them on Eastbay or Nike… so that just leaves eBay auction site.

I did want to get a pair of these but I was putting most of my money of the Air Jordans for this year (and what a year for Jordan… I think this will be remembered in sneaker lore for many years to come) doesn’t allow me to really get other footwear items I wish to get.
This is one of those items. i bet they are comfortable and everything but they will not be a part of my footwear collection… but if you want it in yours, you can get it for $79.99.
Eastbay has other sizes on sale too… and did anybody notice Eastbay redesigned their site? I used to not like it very much, but now it is way better organized. And it seems to be more in line with their catalog too.

Many moons ago the Alpha and Omega pack was released. I bought both. I like both. I paid full price for both. But apparently only one could have waited so I could buy it on sale and that is the Air Jordan XX2 (22) Omega’s. I don’t see anyone… ANYONE wearing these sneakers in NYC and when I do they look like they are fakes for some reason.
When I took some time off and went to Great Adventure (post soon) I saw these sneakers at least 4 times. Just goes to show you that different areas take on a pair of sneakers…. or maybe it was on sale…. I don’t know. I think this sneaker would have been more popular with a different picture and maybe darker red then the red they use.

Nike Free Hybrid Boot
I wouldn’t call this a hybrid. I think a hybrid is more like an obvious sole of one sneaker while the top is all another sneaker. This here is more like a fusion of 2 styles.
Anyway, according to Hypebeast, these are built on the considered tenant of being environmentally safe. The original source is Sneakernews… I didn’t see that there lol

On Sale: Asics Men’s GEL-Nimbus 10 Running Shoe
This is a nice running sneaker. I like the cells all over the place look. Looks like something Spider-Man would wear when he can’t fine his spidey boots. I would definitely run in these if i hadn’t bought the Air Max 360 Rejuvenate and the adidas “Rainbow” Mega Bounce to run/walk in.
The Asics Nimbus 10 in on sale for 119.00 Dollars. They seem to have all the normal sizes left for now 7 – 14.
On Sale: The Game Mid by Puma For The Ladies
Now this looks like a great looking sneaker. There on sale at Dr Jays for 80 Bucks. I don’t know if it is a Dr. Jays exclusive or not but I haven’t seen it yet anywhere else. Something this good might not be a general release. lol
It sells for 80 dollars which isn’t too bad. I wish I bought them before I headed out for my “daycation” at Great Adventure (and yes I saw plenty of sneakers there that I don’t see people wearing in the city like the Air Jordan Omega AJ22… seen them like 5 times on different people in the park) because Pumas are really comfortable for me. There is only one problem I have with Pumas:
The run about a size too small.
I have the Puma Bode and I sure wish I got them in a size bigger. I can wear them, but with either no socks or really thin ones. And I wouldn’t walk around in them all day either. Now if I got them a size bigger they would be some really comfortable sneakers. (If you are wondering why I didn’t take them back is because I didn’t even try them on until a month later LMAO)
So if you get Pumas and you live in the USA, make sure you either try them on first or get a size bigger.
And no I do not care that these are for the ladies, they look like great guy sneakers.
