OMG!!! Blast from the Past – Patrick Ewing Rogue II
Man, I totally forgot that Patrick Ewing had his own sneaker line (and yet for some reason I remember that Shaq had his own sneaker line lol). Does anybody here remember the Ewing? I think that he even had other players wearing them too much like how Nike signs up players to wear specific sneakers.

Air Jordan 23 NEW LOVE Motorsports Colorway
Well, well, well, looks like we may get a new colorway. I do wonder if it will be a limited sneaker or something for a general release? News of this came out during a event hosted by Gentry Humphrey.
The new colorway comes from the colors used for Micheal Jordan’s motosport team. If you are wondering why people are calling it New Love is because it is well known that Micheal Jordan loves his new love which is motosports. The only other new love sneaker that I know of is the Old Love new Love Air Jordan 1 pack that came out many moons ago. An no I have no idea why the New Love in the AJ1 pack was black and yellow when clearly the motosports team is white and blue… LOL

Nicekicks.com put up some great close up shots of the next Air Jordan 23 to release and I have to say it is one of the best colorways to come out for AJ23. Well, ok, I actually rather liked the Titaniums and the Black Stealths but this colorway does take second place in the battle of the AJ23 colorways.
The white and red AJ23 is set to release May 31 2008. Make sure you have you budgets set because this will be a limited release. Not sure how limited of a release, but it will be limited.
Also, I can’t tell from any of the pictures if this sneaker has patent leather on it or not.
I hope it does have patent leather… I’m tired of patent leather. Give me suede or give me regular Italian leather (hey, I am paying 185 dollars for this thing so it better be real leather… Italian preferred) not patent leather, please. Their killing me with the patent leather!!!
On Sale: Nike Air Force 1 Low at BNYC Online (Most Popular in NYC)
Out of all the AIR Force One and Sir Charles Barkley combinations that occurred during the course of 2007, one sneaker stood out from the pack in NYC and that is the one pictured above (and its still available at BNYC Online.com in limited sizes for $80 bucks… and no I never shopped there so buyer beware but they seem on the up and up).
I will see these sneakers on at least 2 people every other day LITERALLY. This is almost as high a number as the Air Jordan Aqua 8 release last year.
Not sure why they are more popular than any of the other AF1 x Barkley combinations but the are. Possibly the colors. NYC tends toward solid colors earth tones as well as reds’, greens and blues.

If you want to get a pair of 220 dollar Jordans for 79.99 (ON SALE lol) you can get them! Why? Because the come from a warehouse and as you know, stuff that comes out of a warehouse is bargain basement cheap!
Ok, most likely these are faker than anything I know of… so the real question is, if Brand Jordan came out with this color officially, would you buy it?
Nike Urban Jungle Pack… NOW WITH AIR RAID!!!
Saw this sneaker fist on Nicekicks.com and I was one happy camper when I saw them. This Air Raid sneaker is part of the Urban Jungle Pack that also includes the Court Force, Air Bound, Hurache Runner, Vandal and Sky Force.
The only thing is missing on the Air Raids is the Peace sign as far as I am concerned. I am not as upset as others with the sneaker missing the words LIVE TOGETHER PLAY TOGETHER. I guess Nike is going for something different here… but i still wish they had that peace sign on the strap.
I used to have the OG version of the Air Raids in black… I wonder what I did with those?

As Seen Everywhere: Kobe Jumps Over Moving Car in Nike Hyperdunks
How fast is that car going anyway? lol
You can see this video on gossip sites, hip hop sites, rap sites, and (you guessed it) sneaker sites. I am sure some people believe that he actually jumped over the car and maybe even had to do a second take of the jump after not quite making the first try… LMAO
Plenty of comments on this video on sneaker sites including Nicekicks.com. Again, while I am sure someone believes he actually jumped over a car, I truly doubt it. There is no way he would risk his own health, the heart break of his family if he actually got hurt or killed, and his chances to continue playing basketball due to some serious injury.
Not to mention that it is possible that his contract could have been null and void due to him risking his life like that. Not to sure how true that would be but i am almost sure there is a clause in anyones sports contract that states they much with due diligence, keep themselves out of harms way.
Oh and by the way, you ask, what is the Hyperdunk?

Kobe played in a pair recently and I have to say they look alright. It obviously has great technology in them and I’m gonna bet that they work well on the court. The problem usually is that the highly functional sneaker look ugly as hell. Nevertheless, this sneaker looks rather good. I can’t wait to actually see them and see just how light they are.
Oh and I do not think these sneakers are officially the next Kobe sneaker. I think Nike just wants Kobe to promote it but its not his signature shoe. I think they want this to be a general release for anyone to wear. If anything there will be players editions (PE) of which have team colors.
They are supposed to release sometime during the 2008 Olympics.

Soooooooo… Reebok has created a form of advertising and art promo for what seems to be a new design feel for the future of Reebok. From what I have seen so far, I do like it. I am not too much of a fan of Reebok so that does mean allot.
You should see… and I mean this… I am sending a email to A Hot Mess right now… the people who are in these films. Oh my goodness great day in the morning! I was DYING LAUGHING at some of the people they put together. Some will be ok I am sure… but the one with Regina King/Vince Young and Allen Iverson/Nelly are just classic to me. I don’t care if its good or not… there are classic just because of who is directing and staring in these short films.
What’s worst is that I would post it here…. but they didn’t YouTube it. They do allow embeding, but that is a little hard to do here on wordpress unless you are using 1 of like 3 services… they should have YouTubed it like adidas did… I wonder if I can VodPod it????
Another bad part of this promo is that when you try to see the sneakers they are sort of telling you about, you can’t. Everyone pretty much knows the Reebok Answer, but the other sneakers are a mystery to me.
If Reebok goes with this new look (I’ll admit that I don’t follow Reebok enough to really know if this is a new look, but it seems new to me) I think they will go far. I am sure some will not like the look though, but I think it works well especially for those who want to stand out a little.
Oh and by the way, there are some pics of this Reebok project… it just makes everything even more interesting.

Found the Women’s Animae 14″ High Heel on Easybay for $99.99 (a sale price from the original 144.99)
Lets start off this little opinion about the shoe with the: Animae??? LMAO!!! Who decided to call it that? That is very suspect… but other than that this womens boot look real good. Another grown AND sexy look by Timberland who is ever so diligently branching out from boots to casual wear, clothing even watches (but who doesn’t make a watch these days? lol and they said watches were on their way out because of cell phones phfffft).
Not allot of sizes left with these so if your going to get them, then do it. My advise is KNOW YOUR FOOT. If you know you need to try these on before you get them, then don’t do it (at least in this case) because they don’t have many sizes left and all you will end up doing is returning them. Unless you have a personal assistant, all that shopping and returning can be a hassle for the weekend warrior lol
They have another color that I am not to sure about but if you like here is the link to the tan look. Eastbay usually (but not always) has a side area for shoe or sneakers that you “may also like” and there is one that I like and that is the Timberland Women’s W Hallam Heel Angora. Its not sheek, but it is smooth.
Ladies… this is coming from a guy so you can take that with a grain of salt, BUT at the end of the day, who are you trying to empress??? Sooner or later it is a guy (or maybe a girl… nothing wrong with that lol) so maybe you will think about my choices. Feel free to comment please. This is one fine looking boot from Timberland. Very stylish and sexy. In fact, I give it grown AND sexy approaval (I need to come up with a grown and sexy symbol lol). The leather is real (LOL), the fur is faux (but looks good) and the color is favulous. Yes I wrote favulous. It means fabulous and… oh whatever, I made up the word anyway.
It helps that it is now on sale too. Its original price was 119.99 so it going down to 89.99 is a big drop. Its not a Super Sale or anything, but its still a 30 dollar drop.
If I saw my girl in this, I would really just flip out (especially if she looked nice all around). I’ll admit that I am into womens feet. I’m not crazy about it like some people, but I do likes the feet. She can look like crack, but if her feet are nice and she know how to dress up (and knows that the shoe makes the outfit) then we will be alright.

I like it. Not a girl, but I can see a girl wearing them. I was totally surprised to see that Dereon is making a sneaker. I can see them making shoes, but sneakers never entered into my mind. It also comes in a lime green color too for those nights you want to do the neon thing.

Straight from Sneakerfiles.com, the first picture of Brand Jordan’s next Fusion. At first I thought it was just the plain old AJ 3′s that was going to be apart of the Countdown Pack 20 + 3, mostly because it looks so much like the regular AJ3. I didn’t look at it too much because I didn’t like the black AJ3′s that much… but then I came back to the Sneakerfiles post and realized that this piticular fusion was a combo of the AJ3 black and the Air Force Supreme from 2007.
Now we are talking!!!
I was wondering if Jordan was going to fuse the new premium Air Forces with that funky plastic like shiny mid-soles. I like those mid-soles, except for the asking price of which usually ends up in the 140+ range. Since Jordan is fusing the new AF Ones with the AJ3′s, I do wonder just how much it will cost. More likely than not, it will be north of 160.
No price or release date has been posted… check out Sneakerfiles.com for a larger picture of this very cool release. I think it may be the best Fusion to come out and believe me, I sure didn’t think so when I saw the early drawing shots. Hope to see more shots of this sneaker and maybe even a video LOL

Here is a video of the Carmines from . And man does he have the goods (he got other stuff too… where does he get these wonderful shoes lol). Its been widely reported on many sneaker sites including the sneaker elites like Sneakerfiles, Nicekicks and The Shoe Game (and yes I didn’t forget SneakerNews.com, they are a great site to go to also) that when this pack comes out, it comes out with a the AJ6 Carmines and the AJ17′s with suede (as opposed to leather)
Man, that video speaks volumes for the AJ6. I still have to say that when the Carmines originally came out, not much love was given to them. Out of all the colorways that came out for the AJ6, this was the only one you could still get sizes 7 – 13 of on the sales racks at many stores back in the day. I actually bought it for 79.99… I just wish I kept them but i felt like it didn’t match anything so when would I wear them? So I took them back.. stooooooopid move LMAO

I Know I Have Seen The Sharkleys – Part I
I know I have seen sneakers in the store. I know I did. It was in all black but I don’t remember any straps or such items on the sneakers.
To convince myself that they actually have the full size available in NYC (and at least this sneaker is about to release everywhere maybe this Friday) I will go back to the store and see if they were actually the Sharkleys. If they weren’t, they sure looked like them.

2008 NCAA Finals: Super Mario Chalmers Shot (which sneaker won?)
I am so lazy right now. I can’t see the shoes of the winners (Kansas… and I didn’t know I could watch NCAA games on their dot com site). I believe it is adidas. I am sure sneakernews.com will come up with some pictures of the final game in their NBA Feet Post… yes I know its the NCAA not the NBA but I am just hoping that they do it.
Anyway, I guess in this final four, adidas comes out the winner, but in this contest on Nicekicks/Complex, adidas isn’t even in the running lol. I predict that the AJ11′s will win.
So I do wonder, what type of sneakers the champs wore? if it is adidas, what the name of the sneaker?

That’s it, I quit this sneaker game. Maybe Neiman Marcus made a boo-boo and forgot to name the sneaker on their site, but here is a nice Gucci shoe and I don’t have the name for it. Ok, ok, there has to be a name for it. It is just not on the site. Unless the name on the sneaker is actually called Gucci Sneaker. In that case, Gucci is being a little lazy (or ran out of names).
Anyway, I like this sneaker allot. I am not a HNW individual yet, so buying a 410 dollar sneaker seem a little much (I would buy a 350 dollar dress shoe… AND IT BETTER BE COMFORTABLE AND ITALIAN!!!), but if I had the money and 410 dollar is like 50 dollars to me, I may get it (but it better be comfortable).
So if you have $10,000 dollars laying around in your pocket, then get it. No it doesn’t cost that much, but why would you buy a 410 dollar sneaker and not have more money in your pocket? lol You will be grown AND sexy if you get it. You MAY empress the women who read my blog and they know you have taste (or lack it) and money to buy those expensive shoes.
