On finishline.com RIGHT NOW hurry!
Just when you thought there is NO WAY IN THE WORLD that you are going to get the Air Jordan 8 “Aquas”, here they are again! I do not know how long Finishline had them on there site, but they got them now. Many the bigger sizes only from 12 to 18
Hey remember this post: Still Looking For The Aquas? FinishLine
LOL, I’m telling you, Finishline needs to have a RSS feed or something when it does stuff like this or maybe a Flickr channel so its easier to see what highly popular model is coming out or is available again. I can’t be up 5 o’clock in the morning all the time browsing the interwebz to find this tuff.
So if you still want it, you better go get them now while they are there. Finishline.com also still has the orange blaze AJ 8′s available too if you wan that. Sizes are limited for them also.

(from sneakerfiles and the retro kid)
Well well well… what do we have here? A fusion between Air Force one and Air Jordan 20? I almost don’t believe it quite frankly. I don’t se how they can real “fuse” these 2 different styles. Have you seen what the AJ 20′s look like?

(from Sell.com)
Here is the link from sneakerfiles: Air Jordan Force Fusion 20 (XX) First Look
LOL the fusion doesn’t look that different from the original AJ XX! I think it should be more Air Force DNA in it other than just the bottom and the area where the laces loop. I could be wrong and this loks great, but I am going to have to wait and see the final product. It would be cool though, if the sneaker had IPS cusions instead of air.
So far we have the AJ Fusion 12, the Fusion 5, the Fusion 3 and now the Fusion 20. I wonder what could be next? There is a math formula that would predict this but I don’t remember what it is. So I’m gonna guess that the next Air Jordan Force Fusion will be the 11′s. I can be wrong of course. If not the 11′s then the 13′s (or maybe the 8′s… or the 7′s).

Okay… True Religion now has sneakers???? LMAO Who does not have a sneakerline out these says. Even the Northface has a sneakerline. Southpole does too. Now True Religion?? I quit this beeeyotch!
For a little as $88.99 (considering the pants can cost WAY more than that, these are a bargain) you can have a true religion on your feet.
Not allot of sizes left and there are no reviews of the sneaker on Finishline. They look pretty nice considering it not one of the major or cool brands that are out (major being Nike or cool being Creative Recreation). I wonder what they are supposed to go with?

LOL, now you can change the color to match your outfit. Sold on Streetdreams.org

EQUALS = EQUALS
The Air Jordan 1 Opening Day Pack!!!
There is a super DUPER feature on The Shoe Game. You guys need to head over there right now to see the pictures. Finishline.com had some left the last time I visited the site, but I’m sure by the time I finish typing this they will be gone. One thing about Finishline is that you need to keep checking the site, because they will show up again on the site much like the Spizikes.
Which one do I think is the best?

(from The shoe Game)
I hope I made it clear as to which one I think is best. Nevertheless, i’ll admit that both of them look outrageously great. You can see more on The Shoe Game. Also, if you want a matching t-shirt, you can get it here.

Nike Vintage Nylon Cortez – 4 New Colorways is the title and Nike Cortez is the game. Sneakerfiles.com does a story on the Cortez… the real old school Nike Cortez (no air in these). All the more “interesting” colors can be seen on the site. More colors including the ones featured on Sneakerfiles can be seen on Finishline.
Some of the Nylon sneakers are on Finishline are on sale (but the colors are pretty dull) and they are not the vintage ones either lol but they look like them though. Not a lot of sizes left.

Air Zoom Flight B Black and Cool Grey
Remember these? Now I do not recall them being called Air Zoom Flight B (that is what it says on Eastbay.com). What I do recall them being called is Air Zoom Flight 96 I was wrong, the 96 look like these but I still say I don’t remember the these Flight’s called B’s. Well, anyway, the Air Zoom flight that came out in 1996 is now on Eastbay.com for 124.99. It won’t be released until April 1 2008… I hope this is not a April Fools joke (gawd I am glad I am off that day).
They look real nice. I don’t remember if this was a colorway that released originally, but it sure looks good.

The Eastbay Presentation Page for the Reebok Hex Ride Rally
With everybody putting out retros of stuff that came out years ago and limiting what new, here we have something new. Using the Hex (hexalite I presume) to keep the sneakers light and for structure. Here’s the description from Eastbay:
The Reebok Hex Ride Rally running shoe features a mesh and synthetic upper with PU casting that adds shape, breathability and support. Removable sockliner accommodates orthotics. Hex Ride tech provides lightweight, airspring cushioning. Lightweight TPU shank offers smooth heel-to-toe transition. High abrasion rubber outsole gives durability. Wt. 12.5 oz.
I do wonder how this will hold up on the streets of NYC. If i step on something will I blow a hex? Well, if Nike can prove me wrong with the Air Max 360, I guess i should give these a chance too.

The price for these sneakers is $84.99. They look pretty good (at least the midsole and sole) although I do wonder if there is anything reflective on this sneaker in case you are running at dusk just when the sun goes down. They don’t have all sizes available but they do become available on 3/31/08. Not sure why some sizes are available on Eastbay while others aren’t… go figure.

Mark Nason ‘Capone’ Ankle Boot – From Nordstrom
Price: $375.99
This is grown AND sexy with a cowboy twist (with a lemon “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” type look). I would love to wear this, but then again I would have to buy a bunch of clothes to go with it just for me to work the shoes.
I just have nothing else to say about this except its a must buy for those who are making that bread (or are married and together they are making that bread lol) cause I don’t see many people buying 400 dollar shoes… now 200 dollar shoes would make more sense (I rather go to Syms, Burlington coat Factory or Barney’s and get the same shoes for 50-100 dollars).
I was talking to my friend today about shoes and she was like “260 dollars is a whole lot of shoe!”. I neglected to tell her that I run a footwear blog and that I spent more than 500 dollars already this year or Jordans and WILL be spending allot more before the year is out on sneakers and shoes (yes I know that is ironic… or something like that). I also didn’t tell her that I think 200 – 300 dollars for high style shoes is normal and that sooner or later you will have a pair in your closet if your into footwear. By the end of next year I would have bought 2 pair of dress shoes and at least one sneaker (I am just so sneakered out from this year that I am sure I won’t be buying sneakers for a while… unless i see something historic or special) and spend around 400 dollars to do it.
OKAY, I’m blabbering… all I’m saying is if you are into footwear and think the shoe makes the outfit (or breaks it) then you will spend 200 – 300 for it.

Nike Air Force 1 Canvas Supreme Max Air – Knicks on SNEAKERNEWS.com

Wow! I like this! maybe it because I’m into canvas this year or something. Anyway, these look fabulous. I don’t like the NY Knicks colors (that what this is based off of according to Sneakernews.com), but I like the way this is done. the gum orange sole and the blue canvas just works right. The white-white also works and the plastic clean transparent mid-sole (using that new Air Force One 25 Anniversary mid-soles) finishes the job of making this sneaker a really cool addition to anyones footwear collection.
Too bad it doesn’t have the Air Zoom in the front like the high-tops. Then again it might not make the sneaker look that much better. No matter what, I hope NIKE makes some more cool canvas sneakers. CitySole has them on stock but be warned that i never shopped there so do your dilegance when buying sneakers online. Admittedly, Citysole is mentioned on many sneaker blogs so I guess they are ok.

Custom Sneakers by LouLou – echslectir
Decided to browse Flickr after months of totally ignoring on of the best places to see sneaker shots and this is one of the first pics I have seen. I think i is a interesting custom job that is very kid like and best of all, it features poop.
Yes, you read it right; poop.
On the side of this custom is what I think most people would interped as poop:

I know you see it… you can defiantly see if on another pair of sneakers here. Take a look at other shots that belong to echslectir

Chirst The King Nike Zoom Lebron V

(courtesy of Nicekicks.com)
House of Hoops did it again! Me loves you House of Hoops!!! Nicekicks got the pictures and you should head over there to see the details. I have to say, for a sneaker that I don’t like stylewise, there are some really fantastic colorways for it.
Umm… one thing though… while using google-fu I found some shots on Kenlu on the same sneaker….
March 26, 2008 | Categories: Basketball, Collectibles, Most Wanted, Nike, Sneaker Head Edition, Sneakers, The Next Thing | Leave A Comment »

I saw this on Kenlu.net while looking for AJ 18.5 sneakers (why do the 18.5 look nothing like the 19′s ad everything like the 18′s… not a true fusion technique for Jordan LOL)
The site is in some language that my browser looks at as question marks… so it could be a custom work on a regular white and red AJ2. It’s possible that Brand Jordan will come out with it, but the AJ 22 white and red didn’t fair to well with the public and currently sits on the shelves of stores sales racks (as well as online). I still say if they went with the original image shown for the 22 that it would have worked out better for the Alpha Omega Pack (Alpha Omega without pictures).
So, ladies and gentlemen, is this real?
March 26, 2008 | Categories: Basketball, Jordan, The Retro Movement | 7 Comments »

Haven’t heard any news on these yet… no real pictures or nothing. They are supposed to come out this year but I haven’t heard any news of them since late last year.
So what’s up Jordan? Where are my 14.5′s?

Adidas Homecooked Collection on Eastbay

ONLY ON EASTBAY (at least I think so)
Oh and that’s not all. There is more! I saw this on the catalog that Eastbay send you and I was pretty intriged when I saw it. So I looked at the online Eastbay site and BAM there it is. So far I count 7 different teams. A girly as the Miami one looks (shown above), it is one of the best looking ones in the collection so far.
If you get the whole team, it will set you back a few pennies. More than 300 dollars. I guess adidas figures that it your willing to pay 310 dollars for 2 Air Jordans, then you will pay 300+ for 4 item, ESPECIALLY since it is popular in a few cities including NYC.
More on the collection and my fabulous opinion of it later.

adidas Stan Smith 1 Graph – White Perf on sneakernews.com

(from sneakernews.com)
Wonderful!!! This is great. i love the Stan Smith collection of adidas sneakers. I still have a pair (in good condition) from back when I was in college over 8 years ago. The leather is still soft!
This pair to be release soon, looks fabulous! Very grown and sexy. Very casual and in style. I love these sneakers! Now the question is for me is how do I fit this on my sneaker budget. I’m already spending over 1200 buying Jordans, running shoes, and some casual wear from Rockport and Creative Recreation, now this? I won’t be buying any sneakers for the next 5 years!!! Why would I need more pairs of sneaker of after this year?

AJF5 Fusion – White/Orange Peel – TheShoe Game

(image from yumetenpo.jp and The Shoe Game)
In previous shots of the Orange Peel V Fusions, it didn’t look like it would have patent leather, but now it seems that it does (check it out at AltSnk). Personally, I think it would look better without it.
A closer look at previous pictures does make it look like that they always had patent leather but the images don’t show it as well. It looks like most of the shoe will be white patent leather with what I think is a very cool pattern around the toe and heel. Plus a reflective 3M tongue. It still looks good to me, but I much rather have regular leather instead of patent leather.
This will defiantly be a great summer look (not the best colorway though). Comes out in May.

Fila Tennis Classic x Premium Goods on Complex

(image from complex.com)
Fila is doing its thing… hey did you know back in the 1980′s that this sneaker cost 200 dollars? Fila was the fist sneaker company to break the 200 barriear? I don’t believe it. Nice kicks talks about it, here is a brief snippet:
The Fila Tennis Classic was one of the first shoes at the $200 in the 1980’s. The other shoe was Gucci, the style that inspired Jay Z for his first S.Carter. For the colors I wanted to pay homage to both high priced shoes including Gucci, the Italian colors, and black pride.
The upper has a sort of ballistic style mesh which is to represent a bullet proof vest. Back in the day the drug dealers in Brooklyn went nuts for these kicks and the Guccis at $200.
Jay-Z? Drug dealers liking it because it looked like bullet proof fabric?? L.M.A.O. You have to go to Nicekicks and read just what the heck people think about this. This retro sneaker will be coming out soon. More info at Complex.

OH SNAP!!! THEY COLD JACKED PRADA!!!
Could it be that 2 different companies designed the same look? Is it fair to say that Fila copied off of Prada just because Prada came out with their sneaker first? Is BAPE a knock of of NIKE? Should MIKE23 Inc still continue or should NIKE send a cease and desist order?
In NYC there are many, and I say MANY people wearing the lower cost Fila Helmsman (of which does sort of look better than the Prada look by a little bit) , but when I first saw “the look” it was Prada and it was popular too. I am not sure how so many people could have possibly afford the price Prada was asking for it. Original prices were in the 300 range and yet I saw kids… straight junior high kids… wearing them.
Maybe the Fila version (which is obviously a copy of the original Prada look… I mean, dude Prada based their shoe off of the water and Fila calls their shoe the Helmsman??? LMAO) which I will admit looks better than the Prada look just hit the price point range that people could wrap their wallets around. Even though Fila came out later, I see way more Fila versions than Prada versions. Then again, how can I really tell???
In other news… how does Prada make a patent leather shoe – slash – sneaker that is made for the water? Does patent leather mean water-proof? lol Americas Cup??? I guess the same thing goes for Fila Helmsman. Would you helm anything in these sneakers?

On Amazon.com – Adult Mesh Sneaker

Do not pay attention to the legs in the picture… just look at the footwear. I tell you this is the most interesting sneakers I have seen in a while. Allot of sneaker makers make it known that you need a very hard thingy in the middle of your foot. I have to agree with them. But is you are going dancing then i guess you might want to give these a try.

(these look nice)
Considering that I do think you might need support that special area of your foot that doesn’t bend to well, this sneaker might not be one of those you buy to just walk in or something like that. When i was in HighSchool many moons ago, I would have loved the idea of such a big “cut” out of the bottom of the sneaker. it was all the rage at HighSchool to have these groove cuts in your sneaker 9funny what teens can be into). Here is a description:
Bloch’s mesh dance sneaker with DRT (Dynamic Resistance Technology) features a dancer-specific, high arch last for true fit and comfort. Made of genuine suede and lightweight breathable mesh, with a Dri-Lex heel and tongue. This stylish Unisex sneaker features a combination leather, suede and mesh upper. Non marking split sole bottom. Spin spot to help increase control and balance. Flat toe box for easier toe stands. Available in Black or White. (certain sizes in White unavailable see sizes) Size 13 and 14 additional $2.00. Theres NO sneaker on the market for dance better. Great for Jazz, Hip Hop Ballroom Dance or any type of dancing.

Get ready for some ballroom dancing hip hop country danc-o-thon. You see, here at sneakers and shoes, we really get at this sneaker game! For the grand price of 34.99 now you can dance too! The only place I have seen these is Amazon.com but maybe its somewhere else. I refuse to search Google for it so you are on your own.

Adidas BW Army – Gold – from sneakerfiles

It looks ok and it is a blast from the bast, according to sneakerfiles. personally, I do not remember that adidas had this particular line or what the “normal” colors for this would have been when it cam out originally.

A Bathing Ape Stripe Bapesta – from sneakerfiles

I really like this look. Its something that stands out while at the same time its not crazy with colors. Smooth earth tones for the ones shown here and even the other ones as seen on sneakerfiles.
LOL at the comment on the sneakerfiles about “soilder boi” damaging the Bape brand is a classic comment. One of those things that make you laugh and make you go hmmmm… Remember that said rap artist made a whole song and video on Bape… now I believe he has a signature line for YUM sneakers…
Sneakerfiles says this is available now at A Bathing Ape retailers and Cliffedge.

John Maeda x Reebok Freestyle High LE Emoretion

(image from sneakerfiles… obviously lol)
Personally, I think tis is pretty crazy… and not in a good way. What is interesting is that the sneaker tries to addess a theory and a idea about design simplicity. The nerd in me loves that idea and that makes this a collectible, the design guy in my feels that the idea of John Maeda wasn’t carried through in its sneaker form.
Either way, I truely can’t imagine a guy wearing these so I guess this is meant for women. I am not too familiar with the Reebok sneaker lines so I don’t know if the freestyle is a lady sneaker (not that its stopped guys from buying lady sneakers before). This is supposed to come out in March 31 of this year.
