Clear Converse Sneakers… was at Journeys but is gone now.
It USED to be at Journeys but I guess they sold out cause I can’t find them.
I am not too into the clear see-throughs look mostly because I do not see me looking through my sneakers and looking at my feet/toes or socks.
BUT these are different. I don’t know why for sure but they are. Maybe its their low profile or something. Somehow these sneakers has a new edge appeal… a sort of East Village – slash – Williamsburg look. And with solid color socks these things really rock.
The comments on the sneaker on the site were mostly positive except for one or 2 stating that the sneakerwas pretty hot (hot as in uncomfortable as in “my feet are boiling in these sneakers”).
I forgot how much they wanted to charge for it (I actually took a look at the Journeys page a couple of weeks ago), but I am sure they cost more at eBay.

they do but i wear thick sport socks with mine and this solvs it also it is less obv that it is a clear shoe if you wear thick socks hope this helps

Yea I just bought the shoes yesterday at a Journey’s store. They are really cool but like Abi said, they fog up a lot. Its kinda embarassing so what I do is rub the foggy parts into my socks and they kinda go away. LOL but I must have gotten at least twenty compliments on them today! It’s totally worth it, I think. I don’t know why they aren’t selling them online anymore but try going into the store and maybe they’ll have some.

I got a pair at Journeys, and I can’t go anywhere without getting a billion compliments. The fogging up thing isn’t really a big deal, part of the awesome fact that they’re CLEAR! How many times do you get to wear a pair of sneakers that fogs up? Lol. They never run out at the Jouney’s store, you can find one near you on the website.

Ha. i got them for xmas and wen i got back from winter vacation everyone at my school keeps asking were i got em. Now theyre sold out and im relle glad chuz now no one else can get em =]
theyre great chuz they match with anything
but they do fogg wen u go into a heated place
and sometimes the plastic is a little uncomfy but its totally worth it

Ya… they fog up badly… but after a little while the clear part starts to turn a dirty color… and even magic erasers cant get rid of it… the journey’s store here doesnt sell them anymore.. but they need to make the knee high ones like that cuz i’d buy them..lol and mine were only 50 or 60 @ journey’s but i cant remember…

These shoes are sooo cute. they go great with cool socks so you can kind of change your look everyday. it all depends on the socks. ha ha i’m going to get them tomorrow at a Journeys store if you go on journeys.com they will tell you where the nearest store is with a pair your size.
I can’t wait to buy them!!!!

Hey there fellas. I work at Jorneys in Puerto Rico and the last Tuesday around 350 pairs of clears arrived and by the end of the week there were only like 10.
They are sold at 59.99 here. Very cool shoes got a pair and its great for those days when you don;t know which shoes to put on. Just grab the clears, some colorful socks that match with ur shirt and ur gone.

haha now I wish they did’nt came to the store anymore!! Yesterday arrived 500 pairs of converse clear and I am sure they won;t last a week. Kinda sucks that so many are coming here to such a small country haha everyone will have them >.< haha they very cool and is like buying 7 shoes (socks of diff colors) with one purchase. Get them if you can, really recommend them!

i got my clear converses from marshall’s for only $15 and they’re not fakes or anything. i love them, and was really shocked when i found out they actually made things like this. only problem is the fog and the possibility of really stinky shoes, but they’re washable so it’s awesome

I have admired Converse for a long while. A few months ago I think that as a business it had suffered. For a while the company’s design wasn’t what it was and in my experience, the quality of the manufacture was going downhill. HAVING SAID THAT, now I feel Converse are the best even though they are not the cheapest trainers.
