LADIES AND gentlemen, Jordan is back at it again! This time I think they got it right Other than the 9.5‘s, these are the hottest when it comes to the .5 series of sneakers they have come out with over the years.
First look at the 14.5 was here…. I didn’t believe it. It looked like something that they were thinking about but probably are not really going to do…
But now, I am starting to believe that this may actually happen. The Air Jordan 14.5 is a combonation between the Air Jordan 14 and Air Jordan 15; The Air Jordan 15, clearly the ugliest sneaker in the whole line of Air Jordan’s, finds a way to look good by having sneaker sex with one of the hottest looking sneaker in the Air jordan line: Air Jordan 14. Notice that the sneaker mostly look like the 14 and not the 15. Also notice that the Air Jordan 15 tongue is included… a feature that many did not like on the original 15 but I have to say that it really works on this sneaker (let it be known that I actually liked the tongue… it was the rest of the sneaker that I didn’t like).
Some people think that the Air Jordan 14 was a mediocre sneaker… WHAT ARE YOU BLIND??? Air Jordan 14 is one of the hottest sneakers of all time and definitely of the Air Jordan line of 23 sneakers. If Air Jordan Brand continues making these fusion sneakers and includes the Air Jordan 14 as one of the elements, I think it will be hot regardless of what it is matched up with.
Ok… ok, yes these are samples and as you may know samples don’t have to look like the finished product. Lets just hope that this actually looks like what it looked like as a finish product. I don’t know what the other sides look like but this side look (drawing by a member on the Kenlu Forum) gives me hope that the rest of the sneaker will look ok.
Apparently Jordan Brand loves its fusion technique. I can imagine Goku and Vegeta being very mad at Micheal Jordan for all of this.

Do you remember the original Huarache sneaker from Nike (not the real original of which comes from Mexico)? Well anyway, Nike decided to do a fusion of the Air Huarache with the popular ACG Mowabb. The results can be seen on Sneakerfiles.
I think it looks pretty good. I loved, just loved the ACG Mowabbs. I got the purple and browns (that was when I was very into purple) and they not only looked good, but they were comfortable. One thing though (unless I was totally scammed), I thought the Mowabb’s had Air since it said Nike Air on the back… turned out that they didn’t. How did I know? I sawed my sneakers in half.
Anyway, I am loving this idea. I don’t think I will get them because I never really liked the original Huarache (although they were very popular when they came out in 1992), but I can admit that they do loook very nice. I think these will be a good look for someone who wants them. Sneakerfiles says that they are available at Purchaze and gives plenty of links.

These Converse slash Pro-ked souls on a suped up top is very impressive. I think its hard to reinvent the sneaker but it looks like Skytop is doing it. I think this look as actually very grown and sexy; Casual while still representing a smooth comfort level. Clearly this is an great urban casual look. What doesn’t this go with?

I tried to follow up on when these and the other Sir Charles and Air Force Ones are coming out but I just forgot. I believe these came out already. I have not seen them in regular stores so it probably a limited release.
Well, there are a few more coming out for the rest of the year. They look cool but they just don’t get as good as this one right here. (Well… maybe the Air Force 1 Low SPRM MCO CB coming out in Dec 22… very grown AND sexy.)

I guess I was wrong about these releasing in December. They are out now for 174.99 (just like the other ones). I got to say that these sneakers look fabulous. Real nice. I am willing to bet 10 dollars and 50 cents that I will see these sneakers at least 3 times tomorrow.
Even though they look real plain jane, they will go with everything you have. I can’t wait to take a closer look at these on Monday.

Wow… all I have to say is wow. I wish Jordan did more of these lasered signatures than these super exclusive releases. This release was so super exclusive that only 28 were made and the 28 that was made was made size specific to the person who got them. So basically if there were no persons who got this was a size 8 then there are no size 8 lasered Black Toes.

If you buy sneakers by the parcel then you probably can afford this (even though no price have been given). This special Escalade with its special grill that looks allot like the new CTS will be a nice touch when you step out the suv with your band new Air Jordan 23′s.
I think its ok, but much like a good suit or an outfit, if you got bad looking shoes on, then it just doesn’t work. I have to say I just do not like those shoes on this Escalade.
I just don’t like the look at all.
If you are going to put the CTS front on, then put the sides on too. And with all of that done, you GOT TO PUT BETTER SHOES ON THAT WHIP!!! Hell, leave the SUV the way it looks right now and put better rims on it. You can change the whole look of your car just by doing it and everyone knows it. Right now it looks sporty/racing… why? Either you want classy or you want racing when it comes to this type of look.

The idea of the fusion has grown on me. I actually think I may get the Jordan fusion snekers (at least one of them anyway). I did not like the way it looked at first but I do like it (albeit not so much as other sneakers I like) now.
This second color of the Air Jordan 12 x Air Force One is not that good of a good look though… maybe if it didn’t have the green stitching on the soul of sneaker then it would be ok. Right now there is too much green bean on the sneaker. That in-and-out stitching making it look like dashes all over the sneaker just doesn’t look too good.
What is even funnier is that this is not releasing before, nor on Christmas… the Fusion Series starts its promotions and such the first week of January 08.
I wonder what this will look like in real life?

This is a very cool looking boot like thing from Rocawear. Ladies you got to get this one. I think I would be very attracted to someone who was wearing this. I will admit though that you have to have the wardrobe to go with it. What that is, I don’t know.

I really think Rocawear is going in the right direction with its designs. I wonder if Jay-Z is upset that he sold his controlling shares? I think out of all the “urban” aka hip hop styles, I think Rocawear has the most clout and best styles. It wasn’t always like that but now the line has clothing for those who want urban casual (for the grown AND sexy), urban sport and other categories instead of just urban “gangster” aka thugged out gear for the 16 to 24 set.
I said it before and I’ll say it again, the people who listened to Hip Hop and R and B back in the 80′s and 90′s are adults with kids now (some with grand kids) and there is a market for those who have their roots in black culture around urban surrounding who want a more grown up look and want to hear about more grown up topics.
The go to clubs to talk, they spend 1000 dollars just to go on a trip for the weekend and so forth… so make something for the grown and sexy set why don’t ya? I think these boot like things make the cut for urban casual.

You have the internet and you have buyers who are very obviously lead users when it comes to your products… why in the great wide world of sports would you change the look of a sneaker that was getting all types of praise?

The other negative comments are just not postable her. There are some positive ones but at the end of the day there are more negative and more negative ones are also very sharp against this as oppossed to just not liking them.
Currently the brighter cactus is on sale on Nike’s Members Only site. 200 dollars. Now if you include shipping and any taxes you might have to pay… well you do the math. All I am saying is that I was saving money to buy this thing and now I guess I’ll just pay a bill or something… maybe I’ll get the Jordan Playoffs.

Oh good lawd THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!!!
THESE FREAKIN BOOTS ARE FREAKIN ALL OVER THE PLACE! No Lie. TRUE STORY. I have lost count as to how many times I have seen this boot. I have yet to ever see anything close this year when to comes to these things. I was on the bus just 4 days ago and, including myself, there were 5 pairs. 3 of the ones pictured above and 2 of the seamless ones (that is the one I wear).
There isn’t a day that goes by that I do not see these boots. Nike hit the jackpot with this one. Not only the highschoolers are wearing them (copy kats), the college set are wearing them and adults of all ages are wearing them. These shoes are a BIG HIT amongst the Police, UPS, Fed Ex, Security Guards, Construction Workers, Sanitation and MTA workers due to the fact that they are stupid comfortable. When you are on your feet all day doing whatever, you need something that really works well while at the same time fills the job requirements. Your feet hurt, you got corns growing, you hammer toe that didn’t bother you before you started working, now does… man you need something that has some cushioning while it actually will protect your foot against glass, gravel, rocks and other such junk.
These boots do the job. My feet are doing better and I am sure other people will agree that this is better than the Timbo workboot or the Sears work shoe.
A few things Nike could do to just take over the planet with these boots:
- Actually state that the rubber is non-slip on oils and such and that it can protect you from hazards such as electrocution (like other work boots do)
- Make a OSHA approved steel toe version.
- Make a non-visible air version (for those who worry about puncturing the air pillows)
- STOP fronting on the fact that people have widths and orthopedic needs… if New Balance can do it, so can you.
- Would a Nike Shock version work for this? (Undecided on how that would look or how popular that would be)
- Nike Air Max 360 version??? lol
- Much like Timberlan did a collaberation with NYC Police and NYCT, maybe a Goamdome version with a NYC subway map on it.
Yes Nike, I know; these are not work boots. They are marketed toward the casual wearer. That’s fine… but I will bet you that a version that is more work boot like will also take over NYC.
Even with my criticisms, the Nike Air Goadome using full Air Max cushioning works so freakin well that it is literally the boot that has taken over NYC. I can say with many assurances that I will see this boot at least 10 times tomorrow AT LEAST. Not even the Air Jordan Aquas had so much penetration.
Get the different versions at Eastbay. Finishline has some more styles and if I find any other places with them, I’ll post it here.

Other questions also arise such as why is it that Easybay calls these boots Air Max Focus? Then in the description explain that they are Air Max 90′s… or even worst the other colorways don’t mention Air Max 90 at all.
But that is not the focus here. The focus is why in the heck and all those who are hecked are these sneaker/boots so popular? Yesterday my post (Sneaker Freaker – AIR MAX 90 BOOT posted 05/05/07) on the Air Max 90 boot seen on Sneaker Freaker was one of the top ten most popular post on my little blog here. I have no clue why it become so popular all of a sudden, but it did.
I have seen people around NYC wearing these sneaker/boots. Not too many but I have seen them. At first I though they were just Air Max 90′s, but then I realized the colorway was one I never seen before. Did a little research and behold; I discovered that there are a few more than nobody wearing these things.
Mostly I see highschool kids wearing them and out of the highschool kids that wear them they are mostly girls. Is it possible that this is a hit with the ladies but the men are just not goin’ there? I think I will have to wait until winter really kicks in to see.
Why don’t I like these sneaker/boots and the other ones that have come out? Because they just don’t work either way. They are obviously Air Max 90 but they don’t really look like boots. They look like high-tops, albeit really oddly shaped high-tops. It sort of destroys the classic look of the sneaker and adds a weird high-top slash boot look to it.
I will admit that there is a attraction about them. Some of the colorways are pretty interesting and could work even on my large feet. I also never tried one on so I do not know how comfortable they are either. But even with all of that said, over all they are just ok. 119.99 dollars is allot for a just ok Air Max classic.

This post isn’t so much about the hat (of which is pretty cool and very Aqua Ready), its about the website called Strickly Fitteds. The blog that is only about fitted hats.
I fist found out about this blog visiting Nicekicks. At first I was like, “that is not going to work… someone made this story up” but after browsing the 20+ pages on the site, I am convinced that this is THE place to go to find out about fitted gear.
You can see the rare stuff and they tell you the shops to go get them at. That particular detail is nice if you actually want to get one lol.
As it stands now Stickly Fitteds is one of the sites I go to at least once every 2 days to see what’s up. Maybe that isn’t as much as Sneakerfiles, Autoblog, Dr Jays or Nicekicks, but its still allot considering my time constraints. I think you should add it to you lists of sites to go to as well.
Strickly Fitteds hints at things to come… can’t wait to see it.

The Freshness mag has posted a little something something. I love the Zoom LeBron Soldier! There are a few problems with it that I will eventually talk about once I review the sneaker, but overall its a great sneaker.
The colorways are for specific schools that LeBron went to. They are only available to the players of those schools and apparently Marquee Sole.
I sort of wish the names of the schools wasn’t on them or was on them better… but other than that, these sneakers are a good look.

Sooooo… we are getting closer to the release date (12/11/07… I think) of the Cement Spiz’ike. People seem into this one more than the “Do The right Thing” and “Kings County“. Maybe because it matches more gear that is already in your closet! Well, that is what I think. I bought the Right Thing and have yet to wear it. I got to buy me some new pants and a couple of shirts to go with it LOL
Got the scoop from Sneakerfiles. They say its is available at Bnyconline. Never shopped there but if Sneakerfiles says its ok, then its probably ok. You should be getting the real deal.

They have a ‘chocolate‘ one too if you wish. Some say chocolate is an aphrodisiac or something like that. Not sure about how it will work on your feet though.
I don’t know about these… I wish I could see them for myself. The Double Chocolate Chip ones look rather good though. Maybe I can find these at the Finishline on Fulton Street in BK. they always have some cool sneaks that don’t seem to show up in other places.
I hope the pastry sisters make it, I like some of their work so far but the market is getting crazy crowded. Is there room for a womens only sneaker that doesn’t have the word Nike on it?

The video that everyone is talking about. Its ok. I wish it was better quality (on Youtube) I mean, they had to know the sneaker world would pick this up real quick and post it all over. Talk about advertising! You reach your target market and reach other possible market of shoppers and so forth as well.
So why isn’t the video quality a little better? lol Well… except for the end where it says AT&T, now that part was clear LMAO
The comments on this were not so positive for the most part but then again in a culture that almost requires itself to not be mainstream, I would guess that many would be all negative about it… but it still was a good commercial, especially since most people seeing it probably won’t know what they are even looking at so there still is an element of “in the know” that is there.
See for yourself what the comments on some of the sites I visit are like. Heck, even the comments on Youtube are interesting. Overall the commercial is in the lame area, but I do think it was a good idea and a good start to what the future can bring.

I do not hear much talk on the interwebz about this sneaker and I do not know why. This sneaker was just out of control when it came out back in 1993. At least this sneaker was shown as one of the greatest of all time (my words) in Sole (or was it some other mag? I’m not in my room right now so I can’t see for myself) and shown as one of the sneakers that were real cool that came out that year.

I sort of understand the Croc phenominon and I sort of don’t at the same time. This advanced flip-flop shouldn’t cost more than 30 bucks and yet this thing is almost 50.
Sneakers have penetrated the US market in a new way I guess… people are excepting slipper sneakers and advanced socks as something to buy as oppossed to something that is just an old sneaker that is now a slipper to take out the garbage and lay round the house in.
So today (as opposed to maybe the early 90′s) people actually buy this stuff. I guess I shouldn’t down talk them since I never wore them. They must have some type of comfort to have so many people buying them… and wearing them with socks even though they are clearly sandals and socks and sandals don’t work lol
I don’t know… I just thought I would at least point out that now they have Crocs that have loafer tops.
