Adidas Glows In Dark: adidas Microbounce+ Supernatural Light
Eastbay:: adidas Men’s Microbounce+ Sprntrl Light
White/Glowing
Price: 119.99
Sizes 6.5-15
I saw this in the book that Eastbay sent me. It is the October issue. They have a picture of this sneaker and the other color and both are shown glowing.
No… I didn’t scan the picture of the glow. I will say it looks a little odd in the picture, but I bet it looks HOT IN REAL LIFE!!!
I am a little mad that Eastbay doesn’t have the glow picture on the site but they can have it in the book. As a person currently learning about technology and information systems (as well as being interested in media, marketing and web technology) I find this odd that a publication that obviously uses Adobe or some other software cant be integrated into the website product displays.
Well maybe making that happen isn’t as easy as it sounds… I’ll scan the picture eventually (or find it online) when I get some time.
In order to find the sneaker on Eastbay I had to do a search. And guess what I came across? The Imperial NBA Stained Glass Pub Light (this one is for the Nets). Pretty cool! Found some other stuff too while I was at it.
Anyway, I think this is a really cool idea. Makes me wonder if Jordan brings back the Air Jordan 18 will it have a glow in the dark bottom?
Reebok Classic Leather Lux on Sneakerfiles
Sneakerfiles::Reebok Classic Leather Lux
I think this is a nice look on a classic. This was also reported on Nicekicks.com as well. I am not sure what is that material at the bottom of the sneaker but I like it.
This classic Reebok was very VERY popular in NYC back in the days. I don’t know if anyone else noticed but mostly women wore this sneaker right here. This was way before ANY sneaker company actually paid attention to women and their feet. If your going to a 90′s party (and I guess an 80′s party too lol) you will need these. I know if your a women and you live in NYC, you need to chack these sneakers out.
I sure like these right here… I don’t like the other colors though…
Finishline Exclusive: adidas Men’s Mega Burst Running Shoe
Finishline Exclusive: adidas Men’s Mega Burst Running Shoe
Price 99.99
Multiple sizes left.
I really like this! It is calm while at the same time bold. I have been dieing to try these sneakers on to run in. I bought a pair of Air Max 360′s to run in but guess what? I haven’t ran at all since I bought them. If I bought these, then I would have 2 running sneakers that I wouldn’t use.
Man, I got to start exercising.
EDIT:
I had to come back and include the larger picture of the white ones and the black ones. I really think I am going to get theses… there goes my sneaker budget!!!

adidas Mega Burst Running shoe – Black
I am VERY UPSET that no one has commented on this sneaker at Finishline. Finishline is one of the best sites to actually read user feedback that s actually useful. Sure its not on every sneaker they have on the site, but I think this sneaker deserves a review. some one stand up and give this one of a kind sneaker a review.
And yes sneaker heads I do believe this is a collectible because not many people will have it or will even recognize it as something to keep.
Auburn Charles Barkley Air Force Ones at NiceKicks
“Auburn” Charles Barkley Air Force Ones at NikeKicks.com
Out of all of them, I think this is the best.
Nicekicks has provided the internet and sneaker fiends with a whole bunch of pictures of the ones above as well as 3 other Barkley Air Force Ones that is set to release this weekend of the 27th.
Mad shots and mad comments on this release. Prices range from 126 to 200 dollars. I’ll admit I have been wanting some brown sneakers… but the white, blue and gold is just too hot.

On Sale: New Nike Dunk Rustic on Eastbay
Nike Men’s Dunk High
Rustic/Midnight Navy/Sandrift/White – Eastbay.com
Price: 89.99
Sizes: 6-15
I seen this one in person and I think its one of those classic color combos. Its not super loud but its still noticable. Plus it goes well with jeans. If I didn’t spend all my sneaker money for the year, I would get this. I actually haven’t bought a dunk yet (GASP!!!) I am suppossed to get at least one dunk but I was waiting for one of those special Air Force One Charles Barkley’s. Hmmm… maybe I’ll get a low Air Force Barkley and a high dunk?
Here is the description from Eastbay:
A classic hoop shoe ready for all your downtown moves. Leather/synthetic upper is comfortable and conforms to foot. EVA midsole offers stable, durable cushioning. Rubber outsole ensures great traction with a pivot point for quick turnarounds. Ankle strap with hook-and-loop closure ensures speedy on and off with a retro look.
I think these are a good buy. Round out your Dunk collection or be your first dunk tht will actually match everything in your closet.
Air Jordan 5 x Air Force 1 Fusion at Sneakerfiles
Price????
One has to wonder, after the popularity of Dragonball, Dragonball Z and somewhat less so Dragonball GT cartoons, that the idea of fusion gained incredible popularity. Why do I say that? Cause fusions happened before and they were LAME AS HELL. It didn’t help that they were not really called fusions but composites… remember Composite Bat-Man and Superman (supposedly unbeatable)… ooookay. (more…)
See what happens when you collect sneakers?
AIR-RANDY.COM Air Jordan 7 OG All Stars
Now how much do you think these sneakers are worth? 200? 400 dollars? Come on, these are the original release Air Jordan 7 All Star’s. This is the style the man himself wore during the All Star break. 500 right?
!!!WRONG!!!
700 dollars for these NEVER RETRO’ED classics. At the moment, they are currently sold out at Air Randy.com and I have not seen them anywhere else. Heck, I am not even sure I would trust anywhere else. Air Randy is like a sneaker fan site staple across the net. Almost every recognized (by me) and well known sneaker fan site gives props to Air-Randy. One day, I’m gonna get me something from there then I will know from personal experience.
So,would you buy a pair of sneaker now knowing that they can be resold years later for … say 1000.00 dollars USD?
You Can Still Get The Nike Dunk Hi Premium
Nike Dunk Hi Premium at Urban Outfitters.com
Price: $100.00
And if this one isn’t your style, they got some more Dunks for you to look at. Heck, they even got the ones based off of the colors of the Bo Jackson series of sneakers (they don’t have these yet).
I forget what sneaker site I first saw these at, so I am not sure if they are collectibles or not but they do come close in my opinion (I know the bo jackson inspired colors are collectibles though).

And if your still looking for the Aqua’s, well Finishline still has a few left in limited sizes (which is a little surprising considering how many people wanted this sneaker, I’m surprised any are left anywhere). It will also take a week or more to actually send them.
Finishline also has some matching Jordan t-shirts:

Usually Eastbay has more lifestyle items that match lifestyle Jordan releases. So you might want to check them out for matches.
Here is a comment from Finishline about the sneakers:
Overall Rating: out of Theyre alright…., October 13, 2007
By PSU2003 from State College, PA(read all my reviews)
Comfort: out of Fit/sizing: out of Quality: out of Value: out of Performance: out of “Just like I said, theyre alright. I had the originals back in 93 (still have em)–the quality just isnt the same. For example–there was a little bit of glue seeping out along the sole of my retros and, I dont know, they just dont feel the same!! I guess a $140 shoe now isnt the same as it was 14 years ago…. My favorite shoe of all time was reissued in the original colorway and frankly it was a bit of a letdown. If you have/had the originals (when Jordans were top of the line) youll be disappointed…..”
You can see a close comparison of the original Aqua’s verse the news ones on Nicekicks.com. I do not see quality differences. I see color differences but that is about it. I personally think that if the technology was available during the time the Aqua’s originally came out that they would look like the current retros.
But who knows… maybe the quality of the pair this guy got was bad. Lawd knows when I do a review of the Lebron Soldier, it won’t be too good due to a craftsmanship issue that I will explain later, but it still is an overall good sneaker and maybe I got a bad pair.
So what is your next move? Buy em or deny em?
Asics x Nextide Procourt Hi on Urban Outfitters
Asics x Nextide Procourt Hi on Urban Outfitters
Price: $115 .00
Sizes 8-13
Can Asics sneakers look great when they are not pure running sneakers? Well here is one sneaker to prove the answer is yes… that is if you like the bottom part of the sneaker being so colorful
While it doesn’t fit my current look (therefor nothing in my wardrobe would go with this even though its mostly black), I can understand why someone would really want this sneaker. Plus it is a collaboration so if you like that sort of thing, then you’ll should like this and the history behind it.
First introduced in Japan and sold exclusively at Urban in the US, these Rockmonson designed Asics Procourts stem from the Nextide project, which celebrates universal access and unity. The velcro closure strap can be refigured to open from the right or left. Exclusive to Urban Outfitters. Imported. Spot clean.

Considering it original release in Japan and limited release here, I would say that it is a collectible. Check out more pictures at Urban Outfitters. Here is another color version of the same sneaker.
Tretorn Hockey Boot Puffer Hi at Urban Outfitters
Tretorn Hockey Boot Puffer Hi at Urban Outfitters
Isn’t that toe box crazy or what???
Price: $90.00
Sizes: 8-13
Would you guess that the picture above is something that looks good? Well it does. While I never heard of this brand, it looks like Nike and Converse (and Pro Keds lol) have something else to worry about with all the other new sneaker brands that have emerged over the past 5-6 years.
Do you guys remember a time when if it wasn’t a major brand, you were practically laughed out of school? I will never forget that time I wore E-Tonics…
Anyway, this sneaker looks like a cross between Nike Air Force One, Converse Chucks and Pro Keds somethings with that very now retro look… but in a good way.
If you got major coins to buy a 90 dollar sneaker that dares to call itself a Hockey Boot Puffer and want to be the first on the block to be fly in something different… well here you go!
Alife x Barneys Colabo: Alife Everybody High for Barneys
Price $160.00 at Barneys
Man… I am really liking what Alife is doing these days. I have spent way over my budget in sneaker this year and I haven’t bought anything that really represents what I call Urban Grown and Sexy. I have plenty of hood gear (I’m moving away from that… I’m just too old LOL) and even more of what I call urban casual (a more sophisticated urban aka hip hop… yeah urban is used to not say hip hop or black… but I think “urban” has grown some to move out of the confines of being another way of saying Black inspired), but I haven’t bought anything in the urban grown and sexy category.
Even though these are sneakers, they fit the bill. Can’t afford them this year (I have to get my foamposites), but next year I will have a pair of Alife sneakers (along with those Yo MTV Rap Pumas, old school Pro-Keds, some Italian shoes, a pair of Rockports… yes I have a big sneaker and casual shoe budget next year. I am hooking up my wardrobe cause I’m getting ready for war!)
A quote from Nicekicks.com:
These three pairs of Alife Everybody Highs are exclusive to Barneys New York and their Coop stores. The shoes feature “ALIFE” embossed all over the rich leather upper of the shoes similar to what we saw on the Alife x Puma First Rounds.

Very hot. Very cool.
Pastry Sneaker Line by Angela & Vanessa Simmons
I’ll say more on this later… the reason why I am posting this now is because I actually, for the first time since the sneaker line was introduced, saw them live in the wild. They don’t look half bad. I wasn’t sure they would get the “pastry” look but they do look good enough to eat.
