The Last Air Jordan??

Wow man, just wow. I got the news from Sneakerfiles.com and as you know, I have to add my comment to this. Lets start off with the retro movement and re-introducing sneakers that came out already.

i love what he said on 8:12. belmonst.. now that retros are gone, your sneakers will be cherished even more. retros are just an abomination of the og’s. og’s will live on forever!!!!

Well, according to the video, retro shoes are just going to be harder to get. After 2008 its going to be harder to get those retros. So don’t wait for the Air Jordan X to come out or the XI to come out in 9 different colors. I guess if they do it, it will be in quick strikes like the china release or the back to school pack.

I agree with the move, but I disagree with the idea of never putting out any more retros. For that matter, I disagree with the idea that if you do put out a retro they can only be quick strikes (in other words, very limited releases). Sure, when you do most, make them scarce, but you just got to have general releases of some of these retros.

And what do i think about the idea of the Last Air Jordan sneaker? My opinion is that its a good idea. Jordan is not playing any more and no one, NO ONE, comes close to wearing them on the court. So why have a Air Jordan XXIV? I think it will mean more if Air Jordan last NUMBERED sneaker was 23. The rest will be team sneakers, sponsored sports players, quick strikes, and mash ups like the Air Jordan Dub Zero:

I think if you got some money left over, you should get these cause this sneaker marks an important area in sneaker history… defiantly collectibles and it doesn’t look like they will come out again.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

For those who do collect, this news basically means that when those Jordan Spizikes come out, you better get them. The ones that are already sold are pretty much gone forever (I think they only thing they will do is quick strikes special packages for $300 and up or new colors) so the Kings County ones and the Do The Right Thing will be very special purchases.

I also think that the Men’s Air Jordan Retro 3 Basketball Shoe, Jordan Men’s B’Loyal Basketball Shoe, Old Love New Love Air Jordan Retro, and the Jordan Mens Big Fund will be very nice investments.

Well i seen a pair but they were fakes on the internet but as we got out of the 90′s jordans just seemed to get off the mark.I know with him not really playing any more.But i thinkthey should just have a year when they set out just retros they have never put out.i just bought the new 8 playoff version but i want to see some new 7′s and 5′ but they just need to do something new.I dont want to see jordans stop being made, because the 22′s were just ugly and i want to see something big from jordan thats it.Anybody agree with anything i just said
