Now, I don’t usually talk about turf sneakers especially ones that are specifically for the field like these, but the style and the fact that its autographed. Only 50 will be sold and there will only be one size sold: 12. This is so obviously not a sneaker for wearing out in the field (unless you really want to and your a size 12). It is a collectible. It comes out the week of the All Star game.
Here is the description of the item in question:
The Reebok Big Papi 2M Mid is the same shoe worn by David “Big Papi” Ortiz at the 2007 MLB All-Star game. The left shoe is signed and there is an All-Star logo on he tongue. Inside tongue reads “Custom Made for David Ortiz”. “34″ embroidered on the heel counter. Made with a micro-perforated, synthetic, nubuck and leather upper, this shoe also has an EVA midsole and a molded TPU outsole. This shoe only comes in size 12, the size Big Papi wears. CLASSIC!!!! Timeless!!! I really liked this song and the video. If anybody has a clue as to what old school car Nelly is standing next to, post your thoughts. I can’t tell what shoes the car got but I’m guessing its 64′s.
Nelly puts on a bunch of pairs of sneakers but the ones that stand out is the Air Jordan 8 White and Reds. The car Kelly is borrowing from her video boyfriend (and lets Nelly drive… GASP!!!) is the Mercedes Benz CLK-Class.
Can’t figure out the rest at this point. any help would be appreciated.

Bumped into this video today. Totally forgot that Nelly and the St. Lunatics made this. It was a hot video at the time and since it give props to sneakers (and definalty promotes the wild colors and custom make) and more paticulary Air Force Ones, I figure it belongs on Sneaker and Shoes featured videos.
Adidas gets a shot out as well as Puma so you can’t hate them for not mentioning the fact that people have all types of sneakers in their collection… but you need at lease one Air Force! LOL

This is a hot shoe for any (well, most luxury) cars and trucks. Now I guess you would have to go for a red (black or maybe white) car in order for this to look right. It doesn’t say anything about changing the color so I guess this is it. They do have a chrome version but its not that flavor-fill (real word?)

While only shown for what amounts as the first verse of the song, the Chevy Tahoe becomes one of the girls in this video. Now this is what is funny to me. Almost every time I see the new Tahoe, it is in white and its got TIS (Twenty Inches Strong) shoes and the shoe match the car. Unless I am completely mistaken, the shoe on the Tahoe are T.I.S. If they are not, I’ll find out soon enough.
I’ll be looking for Missy’s Channel jacket and some of the other stuff I see in the video eventually. I think what they should do is give mea manafest of what is in the video so i can report on it… that would make things easier LOL

Well, while I wasn’t to fond of Amusement Park, I think 0 Cent did us a favor by releasing this one. While I am almost totally sure that the official video doesn’t look like this (with the blackbox, as they call it, looking like 42 street sign) but I’ll admit if they did make it look like this, it would have been quite original.
The cars? Ferrari Enzo. I also see the Lamborghini in the video too. And, if I am not mistaken, it looks like a Pontiac is also in the video.
And is it my imagination or does his chain have a TV in it??? lol Can’t tell what kind of sneaker he s wearing but I’ll guess that its G-Unit sneakers from Reebok.

Well aint this a catchy tune! But why is it part of my collection of videos on a site about sneakers, cars and fashion? Cause this video starts some cars (and bikes) and therefor it makes the cut (and yes I do have exceptions to my rule that a video excepted here has to have high fashion or star cars).
There are mad cars to ID here, but I’m gonna have to do that later cause I am sooo tired and I have a long day head of me since I didn’t go to sleep when I should have. I’m also trying to pick out what Lloyd is wearing in the video but I’m not as good eying brand name cloths as I am with car types and car rims.

Now don’t get me wrong, I actually love these jeans. They are high quality and because of the thread count, the jeans feel like some sort of silk (in jean form) on your leg. Those “G” on you leg are flashy and yet they do have a sort of sense of smooth. Its not too flashy.

This is an interesting sneaker/shoes/sandal/flipflop. It is trying to be the best of both (4) worlds. I don’t know if I would put up the money for it as I am totally beyond my budget for footwear for the rest of the year, but if I could, I would get them.
But the question is, can something be everything? Is this comfortable (it looks comfortable), airy, can go in water without looking like crap after 3-4 times and last? You probably wouldn’t go in the group shower at the beach or the inner city pool with this so it doesn’t have all the advantages of a flip flop…the other benifits of this composite sandel I guess is up to the person wearing it.
The one thing this does have is that if someone sees you wearing this as you step out of a car going to the store… it is guaranteed that you can get a date. Why? Something this different (abnormal) will say to the ladies, “I got so much money, I buy footwear just to chill in”

This is just interesting to me. I wonder who is helping them make the sneak.. looks like a New Balance type of sneaker, but then again it could be Asics. Mizuno maybe? At any rate check out their different styles on sneakers.

While this story has been out for a while (a while meaning almost 2 weeks), I figured I say something about it. I like the idea, but I am not too sure about the execution of it. Maybe its ok.. its following the retro style everyone is into I guess I want more. I like these better though.
I love Wu-Tang. I think they are the bet groups out if not the best. Plus, its true Hip Hop originality, stories, life and even dreams. Think about it… who else would have come up with the story of C.R.E.A.M.? Everybody wants it, you end up with more problems with it, and it corrupts people. Who else would say get that money but be warned.
I think the Wu logo should be bigger… its the best Hip Hop group logo I have even seen and it works in so many ways its not even funny. I still don’t understand why Wu-Wear didn’t work… maybe the name, but it wasn’t the logo.

As for s the wheel rim slash car take on things, I might put that on the side a little. I still got wheel rim (shoes.. get it, car have shoes too… does anybody get the connection of sneaker and shoes ranging from the things people wear on their feet to what cars wear on their feet??? LOL) stories but I’ll probably put them on their own featured page at the top of the menu bar or wrap it into the lifestyles page…
