From Jalopnik: Lincoln Mark VIII Rolling Door Concept
Found On EBay: The 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII Rolling Door Concept Car Hides Your Heavy Doors – Jalopnik
Now just hold on here… a door that goes under the car? You know, I haven’t seen anything like that in car magazines or places where you can get customizations. I haven’t seen it in Plush magazine or DUB… but here it is. On Jalopnik you get the video of the car doing its thing (with sound!!!).
I originally found this on Digg (lots of comments over there about this). On Jalopnik, some (most from my last count) seem t totally diss the idea and the car AND the car maker. But not all:
junkman says:
@danio3834-You’re absolutely right about the Mark VIII in its day. I had a prototype that Ford had built to set a stock class land speed record at Bonneville. It ran 187+mph with relatively minor but highly trick modifications. The record stood for nearly seven years.
Yes… this idea stirred up the hornet’s nest. I like it, but not store bought. It would have to be something you put on later if you wanted or as an option at the dealer.
Mad easy to get into this car though… and everybody can see your fresh pair of kicks and your 210 pair of pants.

Hmmm, this is an ill concept.. I’d like to see if this works…
Yo I’m feeling your page homie (nh), I’m going to add you to my blog roll… Stay up!

Where can I find plush magazine? Do they have a website? I’ve tried to locate it but have been unsuccessful.
Thanks

I think Plush magazine is having some problems… but I am not sure. I had a one year subscription and it never came on time…. and I live in Brooklyn and they are from Brooklyn
Its is a great magazine though. I would say better than Dub cause it shows normal people (with above average pay… coming from where ever) with anything from regular cars to the ultra luxury.
I’ll try to see what’s up with them.

Want to start your private office arms race right now?
I just got my own USB rocket launcher
Awsome thing.
Plug into your computer and you got a remote controlled office missile launcher with 360 degrees horizontal and 45 degree vertival rotation with a range of more than 6 meters – which gives you a coverage of 113 square meters round your workplace.
You can get the gadget here: http://tinyurl.com/2qul3c
Check out the video they have on the page.
Cheers
