Nike Men’s Shox Saya+ Running Shoe at Finishline

Doesn’t release until 6/28
It will cost you 140 bucks
This seems a little sort of like Adidas micro shock type of sneaker… but anyway, this is a really interesting look. While Nike has made all shock sneaker before, the “shock absorbers” were not this small. I wonder how this sneaker will feel running in them. The shocks I have now are great for working out in but the shocks are in the back only (and zoom air is in the front… I think).
Here is the description of the sneaker from the site:
The Nike Shox Saya+ is built for the runner looking for an unsurpassed responsive ride from heel to toe. The sleek modern design features a breathable mesh and supportive frefoot panel. The revolutionary full-length Nike Shox tehnology is lower and more flexible through Natural Motion Engineering. The Dura DS outsole and 50 low-profile Nike Shox columns of varying size combine for an unprecedented soft, yet responsive ride.
Natural motion engineering? Like Free 5.0 or something? Well, at any rate I think these sneaks will be a pretty cool look in or out of the gym. I wonder if they will make a Nike+ version (that works with your iPod) of this?
Wow!!! Nike Dunk and Vandal Back to School Pack
I saw this in the rss feed so I checked it out. I wondered how exactly are they going to do this… and guess what? It actually looks nice. You got your Elmers Glue, a composition notebook looking sneaker and a sneaker that uses the colors of Crayola crayons. Most people who commented says they like it.
Finish Line.com has a few pairs of the Elmers Glue left:
Sizes 9 and 11 at $109.99
And they have the Crayolas too (but with more sizes left)
Sizes from 7 – 14 at the price of $84.99
No word on a release date but it would probably be before October considering the title of the sneaker pack ummm… they were released July 21 is some places… July 28 in others. Why? LOL
Fashion hook up:
A Composition Notebook from Staples
BIC® Grip Rollers, Fine Point, Black, Dozen
Jansport Super Break in Black/White Punky Houndsooth (and while your looking for backpacks… this might help)
That’s all I can find for now. So now your black jeans and white “T” has some company for the first day of school… in OCTOBER THAT IS LOL CAUSE THAT WHEN IT COMES OUT July 21 2007, which is still “LOL” cause now that’s a whole month BEFORE school starts anywhere in the USA. Weird date for a “Back to School Pack”.

Video Onyx & DMX – Shut’ Em Down – onyx, dmx, shut, down – Dailymotion Share Your Videos
Onyx. The hip-hop act who named themselves after a black stone. Clever, but just who are the bald-heads with knives?
In 1989, Onyx formed out of Queens, NY; consisting of Fredro Starr, Sonee Seeza (then known only as Suave), and Big DS. They released their first single under Profile records, “Ah, and We Do It Like This” to not much success. Two years later is when fate struck.
Onyx was going to demo off some tracks for Run DMC front man, Jam Master Jay, but there was a small problem. Big DS and Sonee Seeza were in CT at the time. Fredro Starr called up his cousin Sticky Fingaz who then worked at a barber shop but was always rhyming. Sticky Fingaz hooked up Fredro and did a demo to present to Jam Master Jay and he instantly loved the Madface sound. When presenting the tape to Def Jam, and Onyx returned to them, the first question was “Where’s the guy with the deep, raspy voice?”. Of course they were referring to the cross-eyed slightly insane member, Sticky Fingaz. The rest was history.
Wow… this is a throwback. You know when I think about todays rap artist, I wonder if they can get to a point where they had such raw energy like that. Some live up to it, others (as in most) do not. I think whats funny is that rappers like (and you might find this funny putting these 2 names together) Biz Markie and Onyx are considered one hit wonders even though from where I lived (NYC) they had at least 3 hits each (Onyx probably had 4 or 5).
Anyway, I picked this not only for its back in the day value, but for its shot of cars in the video and the fact that this is a straight banga for your car system while your driving down the street. Straight banga… I was wondering when I would use that phrase.

Now this is WAY MORE like it. After all this is what I am really interested in (even though probably no one else is). Now this is a great shot of one of Lamborghini’s shoes made for its cars. And if you think this is a great shot, take a look at this shot. All part of the group called Auto Wheel.

Rihanna: Shut Up and Drive
Rihanna (born Robyn Rihanna Fenty on February 20, 1988) is a Bajan singer with musical influences from R&B, pop, reggae and dancehall. Rihanna became worldwide known with chart hits such as “Pon de Replay“, “If It’s Lovin’ That You Want“, “SOS“, “Unfaithful“, and “Break It Off“.
Another video from Rihanna that is SOOOO connected to the art of sexy chicks and hot whips (the ones you drive not the ones you…) I don’t really recognize the orange car except to say that it looks like a modified Nissan Z.
And the rims on that “modified Nissan Z” looks hot. I recognize them, but can’t think of the manufacturer or the name. Sorry guys! I hope to do better to identify stuff on these videos (from fashion to shoes)
As for the video, I think its pretty cool. It works. The song is kinda pop-ish but that’s fine.
Overall a good look ESPECIALLY since cars star in the video.
Air Jordan True Elephant Retro III “3″ Shoe Bag at FinishLine
Finishline :: Air Jordan True Elephant Retro III “3″ Shoe Bag

On sale for 140.00
Now isn’t this interesting… as I was browsing around Finishline’s online site (they got free shipping right now for anything over 75 dollars, by the way… with certain exclusions of course) I saw this interesting bag. It is a bag version of the retro Air Jordan 3 that came out a few months ago.
With everybody and their moma saying that the Jordan 3 are worth the price and comfortable, I wonder if they would be willing to buy a bag that goes with the style of the sneaker that actually COSTS MORE than the sneaker itself?
Here is the description of the bag from the site:
Laptop/messenger bag with authentic tooling from the Nike Air Jordan Retro 3 shoe. All the way from the elephant detail to the airbag, the tooling/bottom of this bag ensures the proper fit. Replicated to directly hook to Retro 3 inline footwear, every detail was captured with Air/Jumpman embroidery detail, elephant trim on shoulder strap with Jumpman sign off. Magnetic closure top flap ensures easy access to your laptop or any other items stored. Elephant print lining with elastic sleeve for snug fit of your laptop and magazines.
I am not sure if this is a bag for your sneakers (like the title of the product page says) or a bag that you can put your laptop in (as the description says), but either way, this is a cool find if your really into Jordan and you want to make yourself a little bit more distinct from everyone else. They also have a black version if that appeals to you.

KicksGuide Artist Series: What Would Your Sole Look Like?
???

From KicksGuide
Design by SCOTT KELLEY
KicksGuide has been the place to find people with their own idea of what a sneaker could look like now or in the future. Every month they hold a contest for the best design on that month and at the end of the year it is the best design from the last 12 months to get the design of the year spot.
But this time there is a twist to the contest. This time its about the sole of the sneaker.
Team Air Jordan – The Gift or The Curse
KicksGuide currenly has an article on the people who are on the Jordan Team. From Ray Allen to Anthony Carmelo to Roy Jones; each of them had something real going on for them at one time… so what happened?
Here are the names listed in the article (not in order):
- Randy Moss
- Jason Kidd (he was on Team Jordan?)
- Gary Payton
- Anthony Carmelo
- Derek Jeter
- Vin Baker
- Warren Sapp
- Eddie Jones
And you know what? All I can say is, “Wow… what the hell happened?” Did all these guys really just disappear? I do remember Eddie Jones sneakers when they first came out. they were sooo hot. Everybody wanted them (at least in NYC). Carmelo is still got some game with him so maybe he should be on the list (but I can understand why he was put on there). I never understood Derek Jeter being on Team Jordan.
Anyway, there is allot more detail to this story, so go over there and take a read. There are a few sports bloggers on wordpress. I think I’ll ask their opinion on this.
It sure is interesting.

If you know I’ll do a story on Flickr photos on sneakers, then you should know I’ll do a story on Flickr photos on shoes aka rims aka Wheels of Fortune.
There are 296 Members and about 1,160 photos in this group. It doesn’t have a total focus on car rims, but it a nice mixture of all types of wheels. Its a very nice take on whatever is round.
Here is what the group is about:
For wheels like Car wheels, truck wheels, tractor wheels, forklift wheels, train wheels, toy wheels, bicycle wheels, ferris wheels, motorcycle wheels, antique, rubber, steel, metal, stone, plastic, dolly wheels. Steering wheels accepted too.
Only wheels-not things that could be wheels and ABSOLUTELY NO gambling/casino wheels
If you want some wheels from whips, check out Photomechanica from the group. If that is not good enough, check out MR38 and for some stuff too. robert lz is good for some shots as well. Toni Carcole did this one:

Flickr asks you if your a sneaker freak… some people answer the call. There are well over 4000 shots of sneakers in the one page I viewed while searching for sneaker freaks alone. Now I know some of those are duplicates because a picture can belong in multiple groups, but I think it is easy to say that there are plenty of pictures to look at if you are into that sort of thing.

Finish Line :: PRO-Keds Mens 142nd Ghost
Finish Line :: PRO-Keds Mens 142nd Ghost

They were 69.99 Now they are $39.97
Sizes 9-13 are currently left .
I don’t know what you could possibly wear with this on your feet. Now usually your wearing (or not wearing) socks. But what do you wear when your sneakers are ghosts?
I personally think this is a great move for Pro-Keds aka Rocawear. Now Nike did the same thing (I don’t know if they did it first or not) with the Fantastic Four limited Edition pack (The Invisible Woman was represented by a see though sneaker) and that was great, but it was limited. That’s wonderful for the collectors and sneaker heads, but for the regular guy it was like ‘did those sneakers really exist?’.
I don’t know how comfortable they are, not have I tried them on. I wear socks but not very fashionable socks. Now I got to write something on my white socks or wear matching orange socks to go with my orange shirt… well, if you really want to make an impression, these are the sneakers to get.
I would go with having graffiti socks on, or maybe some Jordan socks with a stripe down the middle…
Check out the other color while your at it. You can’t beat the price.
FinishLine has some more Pro Keds stuff. I’m gonna put together what I like and review it, and maybe give an opinion on where I think they are going with it all. Wait for part Two

Was 149.99 but now is $95.98
Sizes from 7.5 to 13. Pretty cool!
When this sneaker first came out, I didn’t really like it. They look huge and bulky and I’m just not into that (any more). But then I saw some of the color styles and I sort of fell for them. While, again, my sneaker budget is pretty full this year (I’m buying WAY more than I actually should… I got the Old Love New Love Pack and the Alpha Omega Pack plus I plan on getting a slip on, 2 Vandals, a Dunk and the Kinks County Spiz’ikes) so I will just have to let these slip by me. But hey, that doesn’t stop you from getting it. (more…)

Wow, this is pretty cool. They have all sorts of colors and they are all on sale for a crazy price. I wonder what happened? Did they make too many of them? Nt enough promotion? did other sneakers like Dunks and Vandals just make it too difficult for these to get any notice? (more…)

I like this sneaker when it came out the first time. I especially liked the white and red version. I think it was the smoothest sneaker that Scotty Pippen ever had gotten specifically for him. Now you can get it in premuim leather. Seen it at Finish Line. Its on sale with a price slash

Nike Men’s Vandal Hi Leather
Midnight Navy/White/Pro Gold
Price: $74.99 Sizes 6 – 15
If the Nike Dunks colors aren’t crazy enough… Vandals have been out for a while now. Eastbay has got a few left on its virtual shelf. I like these allot. I could get away with it with jeans because they will cover the blue area for the most part while leaving the yellow out. When I wear shorts, I have to make sure I got some sort of yellow shirt or blue maybe… whatever, I still like these.
If you are thinking about having these as a collectable, then go for it. I am not sure if this is the most sort after color combination, but its a nice look and will probably is one the ‘high value’ list.
They have multiple styles of this one on the site (6 from what I can see so far). The ones it think are the coolest and can be considered collectibles are:
$74.99
White/Radient Green/Black
$74.99
White/White/Neutral Grey
Yeah, the last one doesn’t have any color at all… and that is what makes them sooo hot! With my limited budget, I can only get a few things (and on top of that, if I stick to my budget, I won’t be able to get anything else for a good 2 years… man, its going to be crazy for me once I start school again and it saps all my dough) and those few things better be something of value and can last for a while cause it will be a while before I can get more.
Waiting for it to be on sale like:
$74.99
Now: $59.99
White/White/Metallic SilverOh well. A sale never hurt nobody (except maybe the store selling them).
